"Boom!" Joe Di was swept up by an overwhelmingly powerful force and flung against an iron-rock mountain.
The impact was so intense that it shattered an iron-rock mountain spanning dozens of miles into rubble. Joe Di could hear the crackling of his own bones; even with his sanctified physique, the rapid, violent rotation of the void rift caused his bones to break inch by inch. Not only were his bones fractured, but most of his meridians were torn as well.
"Thud!" Joe Di collapsed to the ground, unable to move at all.
Yet Joe Di felt no disappointment—instead, he was overjoyed. Though he appeared gravely injured, this kind of wound would heal with some time. More importantly, he had only spent a few years in the void rift before being swept out.
It turns out that entering the void rift does require a bit of luck.
Although there was no one around, the area was rich in spiritual energy, clearly a continent—meaning he had arrived somewhere cultivators could survive.
It seemed that the Immortal Realm would have to wait, and his agreements with Tammy Tang and Vera Tang would have to be postponed as well.
Joe Di looked up to see a faintly swirling void vortex above him. When he sent his divine sense inside, it vanished instantly—he couldn't touch or sense anything within that vortex.
Joe Di wondered if he'd just been swept down by that void vortex. As he pondered, the vortex above his head disappeared without a trace.
That confirmed it for Joe Di—he had indeed been swept in by the void vortex. It seemed his luck was good, having been cast onto this continent by the vortex.
The void vortex above his head was clearly a random occurrence, and would soon move elsewhere. Being swept onto a continent where cultivators survived truly was fortunate.
Steadying himself, Joe Di took out several healing pills and swallowed them. Once his injuries had improved somewhat, he stood up, intending to sweep his divine sense across the area.
But as soon as he extended his divine sense, his sea of consciousness throbbed with sharp pain. Joe Di quickly withdrew his divine sense, realizing it too was injured.
Several swift figures approached from the distance, appearing before Joe Di in no time.
Three men arrived, with the strongest among them only at the late Genesis Realm, the other two at mid Genesis Realm.
The late Genesis Realm cultivator had dark skin and no eyebrows. He looked Joe Di up and down in confusion, then suddenly asked, "Greetings, fellow Daoist. What happened here just now? How did that sizable Ironridge Mountain suddenly shatter?"
Joe Di quickly replied, "I was training here when a massive meteor suddenly fell from the void. I dodged as fast as I could, but the meteor struck Ironridge Mountain, smashing it to pieces. I was injured because I reacted a bit too slowly."
Joe Di's explanation did not arouse suspicion. Cultivators training here were mostly low-level wanderers, and being injured by a meteor shattering Ironridge Mountain was perfectly normal.
"Friend, entering the Magnetfield Range for body refinement is extremely dangerous. I suggest you avoid it. If you really want to temper your body, you might as well go to the Inferno Earth of the Xuan River instead." One of the mid Genesis Realm cultivators glanced at Joe Di's bloodied arm and suddenly spoke up.
Magnetfield Range body refinement?
Joe Di couldn't reveal he'd come from beyond the void, so he simply said, "I heard Magnetfield Range was good, so I came to try my luck. I nearly died before even entering."
The dark-skinned late Genesis Realm cultivator shook his head, "You were a bit careless, friend. Few come to Magnetfield Range alone, because unless you enter through the major sects' gates and refine your body step by step at designated spots, it's almost certain death. I heard of a Genesis Realm expert who tried entering from another location, relying on his strength, but he never came out. Someone later saw his remains from afar—he'd been trapped by the mountain, unable to move, and had his life force drained until he died."
Joe Di finally understood—Magnetfield Range was like a giant magnet, attracting even a cultivator's soul and body. If it could trap Genesis Realm cultivators, this place was truly terrifying.
Joe Di sighed, "Even if you hadn't come, I wouldn't go in. This place is far too dangerous. I nearly died just outside—if I went in, I'd probably never come out. Do you have any other recommendations? I'm just a wandering cultivator and don't know where to go."
"Haha, our Taiji Realm has long been shattered—there's nowhere good left for training. Unless you join a top sect, they do have some secret realms. But even those aren't open to ordinary disciples." The dark-skinned cultivator laughed, his tone tinged with helplessness.
Taiji Realm? What kind of place is that?
Joe Di knew that realms on par with the Dao Domain included the Sacred Dao Domain and the Void Dragon Clan. He hadn't been to the Sacred Dao Domain, but he had visited the Dragon Clan. He hadn't expected to arrive in the Taiji Realm now.
"Thank you, friends. I'll go find a place to heal." Joe Di cupped his fists in gratitude.
Just then, a rain of blood fell from the void, and with it, a corpse split in two landed nearby.
The split corpse landed before the four of them. Next, a beautiful woman—whose looks nearly rivaled Vera Tang's—descended, took the ring from the corpse's finger, and then incinerated the remains with a burst of flame.
Although Joe Di's sea of consciousness was injured and his body gravely wounded, his keen eyesight remained. With a glance, he could tell the woman was at the early Genesis Realm.
The three Genesis Realm cultivators standing with Joe Di immediately bowed respectfully, greeting her, "Greetings, Fairy Yue Shu."

Seeing Joe Di unresponsive, the woman named Yue Shu glanced over him before turning to the others. "Magnetfield Range isn't a place for you. Staying here is courting death."
"Yes, we were just about to leave," the dark-skinned late Genesis Realm cultivator replied respectfully, bowing again.
The woman suddenly tossed a healing pill to Joe Di. "Take this pill. Take care of yourself."
With that, she vanished in a flash.
Joe Di's eyesight was sharp; he saw clearly that the woman used a water law escape technique, leveraging the water attributes of heaven and earth to depart. This technique seemed similar to Jaden Dai's Five Elements Escape, though Joe Di believed Jaden Dai's was far superior.
"Daoist, you truly have good fortune to receive a pill from Fairy Yue Shu." Another mid Genesis Realm cultivator looked at the pill in Joe Di's hand with envy.
Joe Di examined the pill in his hand—it was merely a mid-grade Genesis Divine Pill, a Xunyu Pill. Honestly, even if someone threw such a pill in front of him, he wouldn't bother to bend down and pick it up.
Seeing the mid Genesis Realm cultivator speak so eagerly, Joe Di tossed the pill to him without hesitation. "My injuries are mostly healed, so I don't need this pill. Here, it's yours."
"You don't want it?" The cultivator instinctively caught the Xunyu Pill Joe Di tossed to him, asking in disbelief.
"My injuries really are almost healed. Thanks for recommending the Inferno Earth of the Xuan River. Consider this pill a token of gratitude." Joe Di replied generously.
The cultivator happily put away the pill and cupped his fists. "Thank you, Daoist. I have a jade slip introducing the Inferno Earth of the Xuan River—I'll give it to you."
After accepting the jade slip, Joe Di casually asked, "By the way, Fairy Yue Shu seemed to kill without hesitation earlier. Is her status very high?"
The cultivator who received the pill replied seriously, "Daoist, Fairy Yue Shu's background is anything but simple. She came from Sinking Fish Palace in the Grand Elemental Sea of the Grand Elemental Realm. Years ago, the Young Lord Ren He of the Moonpierce Divine Hall in our Taiji Realm sought to marry Fairy Yue Shu, and his betrothal gift included both the Lunar Heart and the Solar Heart..."
"What?" Joe Di's heart pounded wildly. He had accidentally learned news of the Solar Heart—precisely the True Yang Heart he was searching for.
(That's all for today's update. Good night, friends!)
