Drunken Rampage

2/14/2026

Evan Lin opened two bottles of liquor, not giving Henry Shen a chance to speak, and started drinking straight away.

Two bottles, five minutes—down the hatch.

Evan Lin wiped his mouth, looking at Henry Shen, who was frozen in place, clutching an empty glass like he'd seen a ghost.

"Your turn," Evan Lin said to Henry Shen.

Watching Evan Lin polish off two bottles without hesitation, Henry Shen nearly jumped up cursing.

Two bottles is three jin. Add the three jin from before, and that's six jin!

Six jin of 62-degree baijiu—was this guy made of iron?

"Do I need to personally feed it to you?"

"If you don't want to drink, you can have someone else do it for you."

Hearing Evan Lin's words, Henry Shen glanced at Neil Ping, who was sitting there with a dark, thunderous expression, glaring fiercely back at him.

Tonight was supposed to be Charles Chen's humiliation party, but who could've guessed Evan would show up and drink these clowns under the table? Three big shots getting wrecked by a high school kid—talk about losing face.

Henry Shen caught Neil Ping's death glare, grabbed the bottle, took a deep breath, and went for it. Didn't even get halfway before he faceplanted with a loud thud.

"Still a bit left. Your move," Evan said, not sparing a glance at Henry laid out on the floor, turning straight to Neil Ping.

Neil Ping clapped and grinned, "Man, the young guns these days really know how to party! Didn't expect you to be such a tank, kid. But I've got business with Manager Sheng tonight, and you've already downed a ton. Keep it up and you might end up in the ER."

"Had a buddy once who went too hard. Felt fine at first, then the booze hit and he was toast—straight to the hospital. We're here to have fun, not go full kamikaze. And this isn't cheap stuff either, courtesy of Manager Sheng."

Neil Ping laughed it off, clearly ducking the next round and trying to pull rank as the old guy, hoping to shut Evan down.

"Uncle?" Evan shook his head. "Sorry, you don't qualify."

You don't qualify.

The second Evan dropped that line, Neil's face went stiff, then stormy. He swallowed his rage, ignored Evan, and shot Charles Chen a look: "Charles, this is your guy? No respect for his elders, no sense of manners. Maybe you need to teach him some basics."

"Check out his getup—looks like his family's broke. If you're strapped for cash, just say the word. I'll pay to send him somewhere that won't turn him into a loudmouth. Kid talks big for his age; sooner or later, he's gonna get smacked down."
