Neil Kong and Sharon Chen quickly walked toward the entrance of the resort.
In front of the resort entrance, there were three people.
One was a bodyguard in black, wearing sunglasses and a perfectly tailored black suit. His exposed muscular arms radiated an intimidating sense of power.
Standing in front of the bodyguard was an elderly man. Though his gaze looked a little weary, it couldn't hide the aura of a true leader. His hair was silver and showed his age, yet his features held a hint of transcendence.
Beside the old man stood a graceful young girl. She was stunningly beautiful, her expression calm and detached. At a glance, she gave the impression of someone drifting between dust and clouds—ethereal and elusive.
"Victor Su!"
Neil Kong and Sharon Chen hurried over. When they were still some distance away, Neil hesitated—afraid he might have mistaken the person.
But as he got closer and looked carefully, he finally relaxed. His entire demeanor shifted to one of deep respect!
"Hmm?"
Noticing someone approaching, Victor Su turned his head slightly. The black-clad bodyguard beside him immediately stepped forward, blocking Neil Kong and Sharon Chen. The bodyguard's overwhelming battle aura made both Neil and Sharon go pale in fright.
"And you are?"
Victor Su looked at the newcomers, frowning slightly. Beside him, Molly Su remained calm, her face a little pale—evoking a sense of delicate beauty.
"Victor Su, I'm Neil Kong from Tianhua Trading, and this is my wife, Sharon Chen!" Neil stopped five or six meters away, not daring to move closer, his nerves and excitement plain as he looked at Victor.
Victor Su, head of the Su family, had served in the military and fought on the battlefield in his younger years. Later, he retired and settled in Jinnan, building a powerful family empire.
Normally, Neil Kong's company wouldn't even catch the Su family's attention. But it just so happened that in recent years, Victor Su had been searching for renowned doctors and hidden experts, and Sharon's family had some talented individuals. That was how Neil and Sharon got the chance to meet Victor Su before.
Right now, Neil and Sharon had already tossed aside all the unpleasantness from earlier. Their only focus was to please Victor Su—even just a quick meeting or a greeting would be great for them.
With this, even in Jinnan, Neil Kong would have plenty to brag about.
"Neil Kong, Sharon Chen?" Victor Su thought for a moment, then nodded lightly as if suddenly recalling something. "Yes, I remember now."
Hearing Victor Su's words, Neil and Sharon were instantly delighted.
Sharon quickly said, "Victor Su, a while ago my younger brother Harvey Chen tried to go to Thornridge Mountain to find spiritual herbs for you, but the place was just too weird—he came back empty-handed. I hope you'll forgive him."
Earlier, Victor Su had contacted the Chen family to look for spiritual herbs and remedies for his granddaughter's illness, and also to find renowned doctors.
On the surface, the Chen family was a wealthy merchant clan, but secretly they were tomb guardians. Even so, they couldn't do anything about Molly Su's condition. They did promise, though, that if they got a chance, they'd send someone to search ancient tombs for help.
"Thank you for your efforts," Victor Su replied, his expression softening a bit. He looked at them and asked curiously, "Are you here for leisure?"
"Yeah, we're having a college class reunion over there. If you have time, Victor Su, would you mind dropping by and saying a few words?" Neil nodded eagerly, eyes burning with hope.
What kind of person was Victor Su?
Maybe his reputation wasn't obvious in Brightsea, but in Jinnan, he was a true power player.
Even though Sharon Chen's family was based in Puhai, compared to the Su family, they were nowhere near the same level.
Today's reunion had already cost Neil and Sharon some face, but if they could get Victor Su to show up—even for a quick word—the others would have no choice but to bow their heads to them.
As for Joy Zheng? Lucy Lu?
If that happened, Neil could really act all high and mighty when they met—proving they weren't even in the same league.
"I'll skip your reunion. Young people should have fun." Victor Su shook his head. Molly Su clung sweetly to his arm, looking every bit the obedient granddaughter.
Her face was like that of a fairy in Neil Kong's eyes, but he didn't dare look twice or let his mind wander. If Victor Su got angry, everything Neil had built in Jinnan could be wiped out in an instant.
"Then we won't bother you, Victor Su. If you need anything, just say the word. If it's something Neil or I can do, we'll make it happen!" Sharon jumped in right away.
After nodding, Victor Su glanced at the crowd by the pool, all staring curiously his way. His face remained calm as still water, and he sighed lightly, "It's good to be young."
"Patriarch Su, Villa No. 3 is ready. Let's head over—the ginseng tonic is waiting," Blade reported after checking his phone, bowing slightly. Every word was crisp and full of killing intent.
"Mm."
Victor Su nodded and didn't spare another glance at Neil Kong or Sharon Chen.
Neil and Sharon stood there, smiling as they watched Victor Su head toward Villa No. 3.
"Victor Su is actually staying in Villa No. 3!" Neil could barely hold back his excitement.
"This time, not only did we meet Victor Su, but I really got to show my face in front of him. When we're back in Jinnan, I'll have so much to brag about to my girlfriends." Sharon let out a long breath, her usual icy coolness melting into pure excitement.
She could keep up that cold, noblewoman vibe in front of others, but in front of Victor Su, she was just a little girl—still a junior, after all.
"Victor Su's granddaughter is insanely beautiful. But I heard she's been sick since she was a kid, and lately the Lin family has been trying to force her into marriage. What a rough situation—such a shame." Sharon sighed.
Meanwhile, as Victor Su was heading toward Villa No. 3, he suddenly glanced back, sweeping his gaze over the crowd by the pool.
