Ten Nether Sky Kings

When Megan Rain finished speaking, she fell unconscious again. When she woke up, she was in a different state, asking, "What happened to me? Why do I feel so dizzy?"

Evan Yang had never seen Megan Rain like this before. It was surely because of the recent strike—she couldn't withstand it, so her head was affected.

"It's nothing. You just fell and hit your head," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Right, I almost forgot—what happened to those two guys?" Megan Rain recalled what had happened before and exclaimed in surprise.

"They were chased away by a powerful person. That person told us to leave quickly and hide," Evan Yang replied.

"Who was it? Why does someone always come to save us? That's just too much of a coincidence," Megan Rain muttered.

"Maybe we're just lucky," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Grandpa Yang is right. Let's hurry up and hide. Luckily, I still have some dry rations here, so we can hide for a while," Megan Rain said. Evan Yang nodded and let Megan Rain lead him to a nearby hidden spot to hide. Under Evan's insistence, Megan Rain didn't go out, but waited quietly in the cave as time passed.

Meanwhile, after Harold Jade, the Sixth Nether Sky King, was frightened away, he returned to his station and soon welcomed nine others—these nine were the other Nether Sky Kings.

"Sixth King, are you sure you found Elena Dreamer?" someone asked, clearly referring to the Dream Deity persona.

"Of course. Unfortunately, most of my men died, and I just clashed with her again—her strength is still formidable," Haotian Jade replied.

"So it's true. Let's move out. We must defeat her—this time, no matter what, even her soul must be destroyed. We can't let her escape again," said another.

This speaker was the leader among the Nether Sky Kings, and everyone called him Victor "Boss Nether" Kane. The group nodded, and under Victor Kane's lead, these ten mighty figures of the Nether Sky Realm appeared in the world where Evan Yang and Megan Rain were hiding, arriving at the place where Harold Jade had previously fought them.

"Right here. The battle happened here before," Haotian Jade said.

The other nine looked around, then Haotian Jade said, "Looks like they've run off."

"You said her soul is anchored in an ordinary woman, so she can't have gone far," Victor Kane said. The others agreed, so they searched the area, hoping to find Megan Rain through some clue.

Half an hour passed, but no one found anything. Logically, she shouldn't have escaped that quickly, so Boss Nether frowned and said, "Looks like we have to use that method. If she's within a hundred miles, we'll definitely find her."

"Boss, what do you mean?" Haotian Jade asked curiously.

Boss Nether took out a bead. Inside the bead lay a corpse—the corpse of the Dream Deity, though the soul was not inside.

"Dream Deity?" Haotian Jade and the others exclaimed in shock.

"This is just her corpse from back then, destroyed years ago. I only kept it here as a precaution, and now it finally proves useful. We'll use the Nether Sky Realm's taboo art—Body-Chasing Soul!" Boss Nether said.

Everyone understood. The other nine assisted Boss Nether, injecting Nether-Origin Force into the bead. Soon, all ten saw the scenes within a hundred miles, naturally discovering where Megan Rain was hiding. This method tracked her soul through her body.

Having found her soul's location, Victor Kane laughed, "Still hiding, are you?"

"Luckily she's just a mortal. She can't get far, and within a hundred miles there's no way to escape. We're sure to catch her. Boss, you're brilliant," Haotian Jade said with a smile.

"Let's go. I want to see how she'll escape this time," Victor Kane said with a cold laugh.

Evan Yang, of course, noticed their movements and was secretly alarmed, realizing how much trouble they were in. He quickly called Megan Rain over.

"Grandpa Yang, what's wrong?" Megan Rain asked curiously when she saw Evan Yang urgently calling her.

"They're here," Evan Yang sighed deeply.

Megan Rain was about to ask who, when ten people appeared at the cave entrance. Haotian Jade smiled and said, "Dream Deity, come out. Stop hiding."

Hearing the voices, Megan Rain helped Evan Yang to the entrance, where she saw ten fierce-looking people. One of them she'd seen before—the one who tried to kill her.

"Grandpa Yang, looks like I can't help you anymore," Megan Rain said, knowing things looked grim and no one would come to save them this time.

Evan Yang smiled, "It's all right. You've already helped me so much, and I'm grateful."

Megan Rain smiled back, "Thank you."

"You two really share life and death," Victor Kane laughed.

"Who are you? We don't even know you—why do you keep causing us trouble?" Megan Rain asked.

"Elena Dreamer, you really don't remember. But of course, your soul is lodged in another body now—how would you know what you once thought? Still, I wonder how you'll react to this," Victor Kane said, taking out a bead. Inside was a corpse. Evan Yang was shocked—it was Megan Rain's body.

When Megan Rain saw a person identical to her inside the strange bead, she exclaimed, "What's this?"

"How should I put it? That's your previous life. Today I brought her to meet you," Boss Nether said with a laugh.

Megan Rain was stunned. Victor Kane gave the other nine a signal, telling them to seize her before she erupted. Evan Yang was alarmed—he knew Megan Rain was lost in confusion and had to wake her. He slapped her on the back, snapping her out of it, but the person who woke up was Elena Dreamer, the Dream Deity.

She looked at Evan Yang. "Thank you."

"You're awake after all," Evan Yang sighed.

"No choice. These ten came here just for me—how could I not show up?" Elena Dreamer, the Dream Deity, said with a smile.

Victor Kane, seeing Elena Dreamer again, laughed, "Dream Deity, long time no see."

"All Ten Nether Sky Kings are here—are you planning to repeat the old siege?" Elena Dreamer sneered.

"Letting your soul escape back then was our mistake, but this time it won't happen. Besides, your current body can't handle your peak power. So even if you erupt, you can't withstand all ten of us—even with your artifact," Victor Kane said.

"Is that so? Then let's see," Elena Dreamer sneered.

Boss Nether gave the order, and ten powerful attacks instantly targeted Megan Rain. Megan Rain drew her divine bow and raised a barrier, barely holding out, but blood trickled from her mouth—the result of overusing her strength. Evan Yang watched, alarmed.

"Ha, I told you—you aren't all that," Victor Kane sneered, seeing Elena Dreamer struggling.

"You people are despicable—always striking when someone's down. Back then you attacked me while I was injured, and now you take advantage of my soul being in a mortal body," Elena Dreamer said angrily.

"That's called wisdom," Victor Kane sneered.

"Shameless!" the Dream Deity said angrily.

"No one will know, so today your soul will vanish completely, and we'll take that divine bow," Victor Kane sneered.

"Dream on. I'd rather die than hand it over," the Dream Deity said angrily.

"Is that so? Let's see how long you last. Brothers, take a good look at Elena Dreamer—the Dream Deity of old—see what she looks like now," Victor Kane said with a laugh. The others sneered as well.

Everyone laughed loudly, since the Dream Deity was already fragile. As long as they pressed harder, she would soon fall.

Seeing this, Evan Yang finally spoke up: "Can you lend me a bit of your power?"

"Lend you power?" The Dream Deity was struggling, her strength running low, and now Evan Yang wanted power too. For a mortal, how could he withstand her power?

"Trust me. Just give me a little," Evan Yang said with a smile, hoping to reassure her.

Seeing Evan Yang's aged face and hair, the Dream Deity didn't know why she should trust a mortal—especially an old man. The ten attackers were curious too: was this old man just trying to die faster?

The Dream Deity extended her hand, pouring a vast surge of power into Evan Yang. Instantly, Evan's Heaven-Cold Seed reacted as if injected with immense energy, slowly beginning to recover.

While everyone thought Evan Yang was courting death, his appearance began to change—his hair slowly turned black again, and the wrinkles on his body faded, restoring his smooth, youthful features.

Seeing Evan Yang like this, everyone was shocked. Even the Dream Deity hadn't expected Evan not only to withstand her power, but also to absorb it and change physically.

Most importantly, everyone saw Evan Yang's aura continue to change. The Dream Deity, unable to withstand the external pressure, coughed up blood. Evan Yang waved his hand, forming a barrier—even stronger than the Dream Deity's.

"You—" The Dream Deity couldn't believe it. Evan Yang, this old man, was even more mysterious than herself. The ten from the Nether Sky Realm were shocked—this was beyond anything they could imagine.

"Who are you really?" Victor Kane shouted angrily.

"Don't be angry, everyone. As for me, isn't the Nether Sky Realm always looking for me?" Evan Yang said with a smile.

Evan Yang smoothed his hair, revealing a handsome face. When everyone saw his face, they searched their memories until one person asked suspiciously, "Are you the one who stopped the new plane from being devoured?"

"You must be the leader of those people, right?" Evan Yang looked at one of them and smiled.

"That's right. I'm Number Five, the Fifth Nether Sky King—Willow Leaf!" the man snorted. Some time ago, Evan Yang had ruined his long-planned scheme, and he'd been searching for Evan everywhere—never expecting to meet him here.

"Perfect. We meet here, along with all the Nether Sky Kings," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Number Five? Who is he?" Victor Kane still didn't know Evan Yang's background, so he asked. The others wanted to know as well, all looking at Willow Leaf, waiting for his answer.

Willow Leaf said, "Do you all know about the plane in the Immortal Destiny Cave Mansion?"
