A Helping Hand

"So that's how it is." After hearing Megan Rain's explanation, Yang Han finally understood. He had only destroyed a single world-realm, while she had shot down one of the towers that supplied Nether-Origin Force.

"So you never planned to enter the Divine Spirit realm?" Megan Rain asked, seeing Yang Han's strength was enough. Yang Han shook his head helplessly. "I don't know why, but I just can't break through. I've been stuck at the Immortal Sovereign realm this whole time."

"Strange. Your cultivation may be stuck, but your strength isn't any weaker than a Divine Spirit," Megan Rain said.

"What? Damn it, you bastard, we'll settle old scores and new ones today. Everyone, give it your all!" Boss Nether shouted angrily.

"That's true. Just let things take their course," Megan Rain replied.

"I need to cultivate for a bit. My body still hasn't fully recovered," Yang Han said, seeing Megan Rain's injuries mostly healed. She nodded, so they found a safe spot and settled down. Yang Han closed his eyes to examine his body and slowly activated the Heaven-Cold Seed.

Megan Rain didn't waste time either, starting to heal the lingering wounds on her body.

Meanwhile, the Ten Nether Sky Kings were furiously searching all over the world-realm for Yang Han and Megan Rain, but the two seemed to have vanished.

"If it were before, I'd definitely seal my soul. Only that way could I recover. But now, with you here, I hope you can help me," Megan Rain said.

Everyone nodded. Only a carpet search across the world-realm would do—they refused to believe Yang Han and Megan Rain could escape.

"It's simple—help me reclaim my body. You saw it, my original body is controlled by Boss Nether. But with this mortal shell, I can't take it back myself," Megan Rain said.

The troops spread out, each King in charge of one region. One hundred thousand soldiers covered the whole world-realm. In just a few days, the Ten Nether Sky Kings were sure they'd find Yang Han and Megan Rain.

"But you must be extremely careful. I heard that among the ten Nether Sky Kings, one has already broken through the Divine Spirit realm and touched the edge of the Heavenly Dao," Megan Rain warned.

He was healing Megan Rain. She hadn't fainted yet, but looked at Yang Han with a complicated expression and asked, "You..."

"That's right. Before, all my cultivation was on the Human Dao. Divine Spirit is the final threshold of the Human Dao. That's what I've learned after years at the Divine Spirit level. Once you break through the Human Dao, you reach the true Heavenly Dao. I don't know exactly what the Heavenly Dao is like, but it's definitely not simple," Megan Rain explained.

"You're talking about my soul, aren't you? Back then, to escape them, I chose to inhabit a mortal. But in the end, I still couldn't avoid them," Megan Rain sighed.

Everyone nodded, then gathered to discuss how to deal with Yang Han and Megan Rain.

Seeing Yang Han in a daze, Megan Rain said, "That's why you have to be careful at all times. Even someone who's just touched the Heavenly Dao is no pushover."

Just then, someone arrived in the region where Yang Han and Megan Rain were hiding. He released his Divine Sense, searching every spot, and finally came to their cave.

As Yang Han mentioned restoring his body, Megan Rain asked curiously, "How long have you been stuck at the Immortal Sovereign realm?"

"So that's how it is." After hearing Melody Wood's explanation, Yang Han finally understood. He had only destroyed a single world-realm, while she had shot down one of the towers that supplied Nether-Origin Force.

"Who? Is it them?" Megan Rain asked in alarm.

Yang Han told her what happened in that world-realm. When Melody Wood finished listening, she laughed, "So that's it. Our goals are the same—to sabotage the Nether Sky Realm."

"I'm not as impressive as you," Yang Han said with a wry smile.

Megan Rain nodded. The two took off, and just as they left, more people arrived. Seeing Yang Han and Megan Rain flee, they were shocked and sent someone to track them, while alerting others.

Hearing this, Yang Han smiled. "That world-realm is special, but whatever—it's already destroyed. I originally planned to visit the Nether Sky Realm to see what it's really like, but something went wrong midway, and part of my body dried up. If you hadn't lent me your power today, I'd still just be a crippled old man."

"No idea. It's too weird," Megan Rain said. It was her first time encountering such a situation.

Nearby, dozens of people appeared. If they knew there were a hundred thousand searching for them, Yang Han and Megan Rain wouldn't know what to think.

"If it were before, I'd definitely seal my soul. Only that way could I recover. But now, with you here, I hope you can help me," Melody Wood said.

Megan Rain nodded. As the pursuers approached, Megan Rain used her Divine Bow to shoot them down, one after another. Soon, bodies piled up before Yang Han and Megan Rain.

"It's simple—help me reclaim my body. You saw it, my original body is controlled by Boss Nether. But with this mortal shell, I can't take it back myself," Melody Wood said.

Yang Han nodded. "All right, I'll figure something out."

"But you must be extremely careful. I heard that among the ten Nether Sky Kings, one has already broken through the Divine Spirit realm and touched the edge of the Heavenly Dao," Melody Wood warned.

"Heavenly Dao?" Yang Han had never heard of it before.

"That's right. Before, all my cultivation was on the Human Dao. Divine Spirit is the final threshold of the Human Dao. That's what I've learned after years at the Divine Spirit level. Once you break through the Human Dao, you reach the true Heavenly Dao. I don't know exactly what the Heavenly Dao is like, but it's definitely not simple," Melody Wood explained.

Yang Han was stunned. So Divine Spirit was only the final threshold of the Human Dao. After all these years of cultivation, he'd only just finished the Human Dao—there was still the Heavenly Dao beyond it.

But this only made Yang Han more determined. If the Heavenly Dao really existed, then when he reached it, would he be able to destroy worlds?

Seeing Yang Han in a daze, Melody Wood said, "That's why you have to be careful at all times. Even someone who's just touched the Heavenly Dao is no pushover."

Yang Han had never seen what someone with the power of the Heavenly Dao could do, and he was curious. But now wasn't the time—he had to restore his body first.

As Yang Han mentioned restoring his body, Melody Wood asked curiously, "How long have you been stuck at the Immortal Sovereign realm?"

"Not long," Yang Han replied.

"So you never planned to enter the Divine Spirit realm?" Melody Wood asked, seeing Yang Han's strength was enough. Yang Han shook his head helplessly. "I don't know why, but I just can't break through. I've been stuck at the Immortal Sovereign realm this whole time."

"Strange. Your cultivation may be stuck, but your strength isn't any weaker than a Divine Spirit," Melody Wood said.

"Maybe so. But it's fine—as long as I have power," Yang Han said with a smile.

"That's true. Just let things take their course," Melody Wood replied.

"I need to cultivate for a bit. My body still hasn't fully recovered," Yang Han said, seeing Melody Wood's injuries mostly healed. She nodded, so they found a safe spot and settled down. Yang Han closed his eyes to examine his body and slowly activated the Heaven-Cold Seed.

Melody Wood didn't waste time either, starting to heal the lingering wounds on her body.

Meanwhile, the Ten Nether Sky Kings were furiously searching all over the world-realm for Yang Han and Melody Wood, but the two seemed to have vanished.

"I refuse to believe we can't find them, even if we scour this entire world-realm. Everyone, bring ten thousand elite troops here," Boss Nether ordered angrily.

Everyone nodded. Only a carpet search across the world-realm would do—they refused to believe Yang Han and Melody Wood could escape.

Each King returned with ten thousand soldiers. A hundred thousand troops, like a swarm of locusts, darkened the sky. Wherever they went, everyone hid, not daring to provoke these disasters.

The troops spread out, each King in charge of one region. One hundred thousand soldiers covered the whole world-realm. In just a few days, the Ten Nether Sky Kings were sure they'd find Yang Han and Melody Wood.

"Old Five, why didn't you tell me about the Immortal-Fate Grotto world-realm? If not for earlier, we wouldn't have known," Boss Nether asked Lewis Yates after assigning tasks.

Lewis Yates sighed helplessly. "Don't mention it. I've been worried sick. I planned to tell you, but if Boss Demon King found out, I'd probably lose my life. He said only success is allowed—if I fail, I have to face him with my head in my hands."

The other nine mourned for him. With such a task, no wonder he was silent. Lewis Yates said, "No matter what, I must capture him. Hopefully Boss Demon King will understand."

"It's fine. This time, we'll definitely take him down—and that Dream Deity, too. One destroyed a tower, the other ruined a crucial world-realm. Both deserve to die," Boss Nether declared.

Everyone nodded, then gathered to discuss how to deal with Yang Han and Melody Wood.

One hundred thousand troops searched every corner, every cave, leaving nothing unchecked—afraid of being blamed from above.

Just then, someone arrived in the region where Yang Han and Melody Wood were hiding. He released his Divine Sense, searching every spot, and finally came to their cave.

Outside the cave, a formation blocked his Divine Sense. Sensing something odd, he moved closer and attacked hard, but nothing happened. Alarmed, he quickly called nearby comrades for help.

Yang Han sensed the formation being attacked and immediately realized, "Someone's here."

"Who? Is it them?" Melody Wood asked in alarm.

"No, it's not them. Don't know who it is—let's check." Yang Han said. The two went out and saw a stranger. But the man had Nether-Origin Force on him, so Yang Han knew he was from the Nether Sky Realm. Without hesitation, he killed the excited scout who had just found them.

"Let's go—this place is exposed," Yang Han said.

Melody Wood nodded. The two took off, and just as they left, more people arrived. Seeing Yang Han and Melody Wood flee, they were shocked and sent someone to track them, while alerting others.

"Why are there so many Nether Sky Realm people here?" Yang Han searched with his Divine Sense, puzzled.

"No idea. It's too weird," Melody Wood said. It was her first time encountering such a situation.

Nearby, dozens of people appeared. If they knew there were a hundred thousand searching for them, Yang Han and Melody Wood wouldn't know what to think.

"Looks like they're closing in. Either we kill them in one strike, or we leave. If they find us, it'll just drag things out and alert those ten Kings," Yang Han said.

Melody Wood nodded. As the pursuers approached, Melody Wood used her Divine Bow to shoot them down, one after another. Soon, bodies piled up before Yang Han and Melody Wood.
