After hearing Evan Yang's words, Dora Du asked curiously, "So how can we get White Moon to come out?"
"Let me try," Evan Yang replied. He wasn't sure if he could actually summon White Moon, so he decided to give it a shot.
Dora Du naturally hoped Evan Yang could call White Moon out. Under her gaze, Evan Yang walked to the entrance, out onto the snowy ground, and ignited a flame.
The flame stood out starkly against the white snow. In the snow, Evan Yang wrote several large characters: "White Sect Master, I know you're here, please come out and meet."
Dora Du watched the surroundings, trying to spot any trace of that woman.
White Moon had locked onto Evan Yang and the others as soon as she entered the plane. After seeing them enter a snow cave, she waited somewhere in the realm. When she saw the flaming characters, she was shocked: "He found me?"
Realizing Evan Yang had discovered her, White Moon was startled, unsure whether to go out. If she did, how should she explain? If she didn't, how would she face him next time?
Sensing the arrival of a powerful aura, Evan Yang knew White Moon had appeared. He looked at her and smiled, "You finally decided to come out."
"When did you realize I was here?" White Moon asked.
Evan Yang looked at White Moon—this was really her, not an illusion. He smiled and said, "An elder told me. He noticed you, but we just pretended not to know."
"I see." White Moon already guessed who it was. Evan Yang looked at her and asked curiously, "You've been following me all this time?"
"I forgot," White Moon replied, not knowing how to answer. Dora Du wasn't fooled; she quickly saw through their relationship. But needing the Saint Soul‑Restoring Pill, she spoke up, "Can you two listen to me for a moment?"
"Go ahead," Evan Yang and White Moon replied together.
"Do you have a Saint Soul‑Restoring Pill? Could you give me one?" Dora Du asked White Moon.
Evan Yang looked at White Moon, and she finally understood why he called her out—it was for the Saint Soul‑Restoring Pill. So she asked, "You called me out just for the pill?"
"Saving a life comes first. I hope Sect Master White can help," Evan Yang replied.
After looking at Evan Yang for a moment, White Moon said, "Alright, I still have three left. Take them all."
Evan Yang took the bottle containing three pills and smiled, "Thank you."
"Is someone's soul injured?" White Moon asked, not sure what else to say.
"You're right, that's exactly it," Evan Yang said.
"Is there anything I can help with?" White Moon wanted a reason to stay. Evan Yang wasn't planning to ask why she followed him, so he simply replied, "Yes."
Evan Yang asked White Moon to come inside with him, and Dora Du followed as well. Inside, they saw an unconscious man. Evan Yang said to White Moon, "I'm about to bring the pills into his body and treat him from the inside. I'll leave my body in your care."
Though she didn't really understand what Evan Yang meant, White Moon nodded, "Go ahead." Dora Du gratefully added, "Thank you."
Evan Yang closed his eyes. Under White Moon and Dora Du's watchful gaze, his visible soul stepped out—unlike others, he could directly wield Soul‑Power. Carrying the pills, he entered the man's body.
White Moon hadn't expected Evan Yang to ask her so directly. She smiled, "I already told you—I just forgot." But the air between them was thick with awkwardness, and neither knew how to start a conversation.
"I'll use these pills to help your soul gradually recover," Evan Yang said.
"Alright," the soul replied.
Evan Yang gave him the Saint Soul‑Restoring Pills to slowly absorb. He expected the pills to help at least a little, but nothing changed—the man's condition stayed exactly the same. Evan Yang frowned; he realized the problem wasn't the pills, but that the man's soul wasn't just injured—it was truly missing something.
So Evan Yang withdrew from the man's body. Dora Du, waiting outside, saw him come out and asked excitedly, "How did it go? How is he?"
"It's not looking good," Evan Yang replied.
"Even the Saint Soul‑Restoring Pills didn't work?" White Moon asked curiously.
After that, the two fell quiet. Evan Yang tried to steady himself, not wanting his bloodline to flare up again like last time—he knew that would be trouble.
Dora Du was shocked when she heard this. "Then what should we do?"
"We need to go where he went before," Evan Yang said.
"Only he would know that place," Dora Du said. Evan Yang replied, "Alright, I'll communicate with him and then we'll set off."
Hearing Evan Yang's words, Dora Du gratefully said, "Thank you. If not for you, we really wouldn't know what to do."
Evan Yang smiled, "It's fate. I'll go in again, and leave things here to you." With that, he entered the man's body once more.
White Moon asked curiously, "Is this man yours?"
"My lover," Dora Du replied.
White Moon sounded convincing, but Dora Du still wasn't fully convinced. She said, "Liking someone doesn't always have to be spoken aloud. Your actions say it all. I don't know if he feels the same, but I'm sure you mean something to him."
"Do you like him?" Dora Du suddenly asked, curious.
"No way, what are you talking about?" White Moon was stunned for a moment, then laughed.
"Then why do you keep following him?" Dora Du pressed curiously.
"Because... because I'm also here for the Divine Pill Chapter," White Moon replied with a smile.
White Moon sounded convincing, but Dora Du still wasn't fully convinced. She said, "Liking someone doesn't always have to be spoken aloud. Your actions say it all. I don't know if he feels the same, but I'm sure you hold a place in his heart."
"A place? You're overthinking it. We're just ordinary friends," White Moon insisted with a smile.
"Really? Maybe I misread it," Dora Du replied.
Just then, Evan Yang opened his eyes and saw the two talking. He asked curiously, "What are you chatting about?"
"We were talking about how you two met!" White Moon said.
"I see," Evan Yang replied. Dora Du asked, "So, did you find out?"
"Yes, he said he went to the Spirit Prison Realm in the Chaos World," Evan Yang said.
"The Spirit Prison Realm?" Dora Du and White Moon were both shocked. Seeing their reaction, Evan Yang realized this place was extraordinary. He asked them for details and learned that the Spirit Prison Realm was indeed no ordinary place.
The Spirit Prison Realm is entered and exited only by the soul, much like the Soul‑World Evan Yang visited years ago.
"Looks like we have to go there," Evan Yang said.
"I've heard the Spirit Prison Realm is very strange. If you're careless, your soul can be attacked. When my lover went there, that's probably what happened to him," Dora Du said.
"He originally went to collect something there, but got pricked by something and ended up like this. It must be related to that item. I think I have to go there myself," Evan Yang said.
"I'll go too," Dora Du said.
White Moon spoke up as well, "I'll go."
Evan Yang looked at Dora Du and White Moon, then said, "Senior Du, you stay and take care of him. She can come with me. You were injured before, so you should rest well."
Dora Du understood what Evan Yang meant. She looked at White Moon and said, "I'll leave it to you two, then."
"No need to worry. We're heading out now," Evan Yang said.
Dora Du nodded. Evan Yang turned to White Moon, "Let's go."
White Moon followed Evan Yang. At first, the two were silent. After they entered the Chaos World, Evan Yang asked, "Sect Master White, why are you following me?"
So the two set off for the Spirit Prison Realm, but both felt uneasy. The air between them was thick with awkwardness, and neither knew how to start a conversation.
"Sect Master White, you're a Heavenly Dao person—how could you forget something so simple? Did something happen? Do you need me to refine pills, or...?" Evan Yang wondered, thinking something was wrong.
White Moon hadn't expected Evan Yang to guess so much. After thinking for a moment, she smiled, "Actually, I know you're here for the Divine Pill Chapter. I'm curious about it too, and since you know I'm also an alchemist, I just tagged along."
"Oh? Is that really the reason?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Of course. What else?" White Moon smiled. Seeing her smile, Evan Yang was reminded of something deep inside himself.
The two locked eyes. Evan Yang thought back to what happened before, while White Moon wondered if she should tell him she was carrying his child. They stayed like that, frozen, until Evan Yang snapped out of it and said awkwardly, "Sorry, I spaced out for a moment."
"It's fine, I did too," White Moon replied, also embarrassed.
To break the awkward silence, Evan Yang thought for a moment, then smiled and asked, "Sect Master White, how is Senior White doing lately?"
So the two of them headed for the Spirit Prison Realm, but both felt unsettled. There was an awkwardness between them, and neither knew how to break the ice.
To break the awkward silence, Evan Yang finally smiled and asked, "Sect Master White, how is Senior White doing these days?"
"My father? He's doing well. Ever since he took the pills last time, his soul and body have both recovered," White Moon replied with a smile.
Evan Yang smiled, "Good. I'm glad it worked."
Seeing Evan Yang open up, White Moon started asking questions too, mostly about the Divine Pill Chapter. As they chatted, the two grew much closer.
Suddenly, White Moon's flying vessel shuddered and she frowned. "Looks like we've hit trouble."
"Oh? What's wrong?" Evan Yang asked. White Moon replied, "We've run into some famous bandits of the Chaos World."
