Molly Yun smiled lightly, "I actually have a suggestion. In our family, we value promises above all else. 'A promise worth a thousand gold.' This just happens to hint at the qualities and attributes she'll have in the future. Let's name her Yina Yin. What do you think?"
"A promise worth a thousand gold? That's wonderful!" Cecilia Gu nodded repeatedly. "Indeed, we should teach our children from a young age to honor their word."
"And the name also subtly includes the sound of 'Nuo.' Very nice," Madam Yun added. "I agree with this name. If this child grows up to be another Nono, that would be amazing!"
Mrs. Yin couldn't stop smiling. She said to Madam Yun, "Yina is a pretty ordinary name, but paired with our Yin family surname, how does it sound so lovely?"
Madam Yun snorted, "Yun Yina sounds lovely too!"
Watching the two elderly ladies bicker, everyone else could only look on helplessly and speechlessly.
Rona Muir couldn't help but interject, "But the 'Nuo' in Nono and Yina is pronounced with a different stress."
Eric Jiang's gaze immediately turned to Molly Yun.
What did that mean?
Did they already know everything?
Molly Yun looked at Eric Jiang with complicated eyes. After nodding lightly, she finally answered Rona Muir, "Yes, that's exactly what I had in mind. After all, I can't appear as Yun Nuo anymore. But I'm still alive, so I'll entrust my hopes to this child. Let her inherit Nono's will."
Cecilia Gu nodded, "Now that you put it that way, this name really couldn't be more fitting. It holds three meanings in one."
"Alright, since everyone likes the name, our little princess will be called Yina Yin!" Mrs. Yin said contentedly. "Cecilia, you should rest well, we won't disturb you. Xiao Wang, stay here and keep watch. Report to us if anything comes up."
Xiao Wang nodded immediately.
Charles Yin said, "I want to stay here with Cecilia for a while."
Madam Yun smiled and said, "What she needs most right now is rest, not company! Cecilia has gotten through this ordeal, and she has a long future ahead. You'll have a lifetime to keep her company!"
Cecilia Gu also said to Charles Yin, "Alright, you all should go back first. I need to sleep for a while. I just used up all my strength."
Hearing Cecilia say this, Charles Yin reluctantly let go of her hand. While no one was looking, he secretly kissed Cecilia. "Wife, you worked so hard!"
Eric Jiang said to Molly Yun, "Can I talk to you for a bit?"
Molly Yun nodded, and the two of them left the group, heading downstairs to the garden.
Once they found a secluded spot, Eric Jiang looked intently at Molly Yun. "Don't you think you owe me an explanation?"
"I'm sorry." Molly Yun looked at him, full of remorse. "I know those three words mean so little—they can't possibly express my apology. But right now, I truly don't know where to begin. In both my past and present lives, I owe you."
"You never owed me anything." Eric Jiang gave a bitter smile, his eyes flashing with helplessness and longing. "You just never kept me in your heart."
Molly Yun didn't deny it.
"Nono, it's really wonderful that you're alive." Eric Jiang choked up. "Even if you still won't acknowledge me, or explain anything to me."
"When did you figure it out?" Molly Yun's eyes clouded with confusion. "I've been so careful. How did you notice?"
Eric Jiang gave a wry smile. "No matter how careful you are, some habits never change. My familiarity with you is like knowing my own shadow. The way you flip through books, play the piano, your cold and resolute way of keeping people at a distance—on and on."
Molly Yun also smiled wryly. "So I have so many flaws? I thought I disguised myself pretty well."
"That's because I know you too well." Eric Jiang lifted his hand, straightened Molly Yun's scarf, and gently brushed away her messy hair. "Nono, I want to ask you something, and I want you to answer honestly."
Molly Yun's gaze flickered.
With her intelligence, she seemed to have already guessed what Eric Jiang was about to ask.
Eric Jiang suddenly grabbed Molly Yun's hand, not giving her a chance to escape. "Nono, you've been avoiding me for two lifetimes—how much longer will you keep running?"
"I..." Molly Yun's eyes flickered. "I can't be that selfish. I hurt you in my last life, and now in this life..."
"No one will hurt us in this life! You no longer carry your family's mission and burdens—you are free!" Eric Jiang tightened his grip, his tone unwavering. "Nono, answer me—have I ever been in your heart?"
Molly Yun lowered her gaze. "My identity now is Molly Yun, not Nora Yun. I'm no longer the eldest daughter of the Yun family—my status isn't worthy of you."
"Do you really think I care about family background?" Eric Jiang chuckled. "Do you think Cecilia's background matches Charles Yin's?"
Molly Yun fell silent.
It's true. The Yun family and the Yin family are worlds apart.
"Back then, does what you said to me still count?" Eric Jiang's eyes burned as he stared at Molly Yun. "When we parted, you said we were fated but not destined, and if there was another life, you wouldn't let me down. Does that still count now?"
Molly Yun's eyes trembled and she gave a bitter smile. "So you caught onto my wording, huh?"
Eric Jiang chuckled softly, "So it's not like your heart never had me, right? Now that you have no burdens, Nono, come back to me."
Eric Jiang took Molly Yun's hand, kissed it gently at his lips. "We've missed too many years. Let's not miss any more of the days we have left."
"I... Can you let me think it over?" Molly Yun gave a bitter smile. "I'm still a little dazed. So much has happened today, and I'm just not ready yet. Besides, my parents are going to officially adopt me and bring me back to the Yun family. Since you asked, I'll be honest with you."

Molly Yun bravely lifted her head and looked at Eric Jiang. "Yes, you are in my heart. But until I have enough standing, I won't marry you. I used to be proud. Now, even if I can't reach the same heights as before, I won't let myself go easily. I don't want people to look down on me. And I don't want them pointing at Cecilia and saying, 'Look, her sister is a failure!'"
"Nono!" Eric Jiang's eyes held a hint of reproach. "How could you think that? I've never thought that about you!"
"I know you wouldn't." Molly Yun smiled. "I just want to live a brand new life as Molly Yun!"
Eric Jiang frowned. "So what do you plan to do?"
"I'll think about it after Cecilia finishes her postpartum recovery." Molly Yun let out a gentle sigh. "My body is healthy now. I can walk around, I can do so many things without feeling tired. I have so many ideas I want to realize! Eric, will you support me?"
"Of course." Eric Jiang smiled. "Looks like I need to go explain things to my parents! Nono, listen—this lifetime, I want no one but you!"
Listening to Eric Jiang's deep love, Molly Yun's eyes instantly softened. She hugged Eric Jiang tightly. "Thank you! Thank you for never leaving me, in two lifetimes!"
After a nap, Cecilia Gu opened her eyes again and felt as if the whole world had quieted down.
Xiao Wang saw Cecilia wake up and immediately came over, speaking softly, "Mrs. Yin, you're awake? Why didn't you call for me?"
"I just woke up. Where's the baby?" Cecilia couldn't help but ask. "Where is everyone else? What about Ethan?"
"Miss is sleeping, and she's sleeping so soundly after eating. Ethan wanted to come see you, but the CEO stopped him, saying he should wait until you've rested. Ethan is being so good now, not causing trouble, saying he wants to watch his little sister grow up." Xiao Wang said animatedly.
Cecilia couldn't help but smile.
Xiao Wang continued, "The doctor says you'll have to finish your postpartum recovery in the hospital. You passed a lot of bad blood during delivery—Miss Yun said it's normal, and once it's out, you can rest easy. The doctor also says your recovery is much better than expected. But this time, you really can't have a third child—if you do, your body won't handle it."
Cecilia nodded. "If something is meant to be, it will be. If not, don't force it."
"It's good that Mrs. Yin can think this way." Xiao Wang checked the time and said, "Ah, the little princess should be waking up soon. I'll ask the nanny to bring her over for you to see."
Cecilia smiled and nodded.
