The Birth of the Little Princess

1/4/2026

Cecilia Gu turned her head and immediately saw Molly Yun.

With just one look, Cecilia Gu couldn't hold back her tears.

"Sis..." Cecilia whispered, "I just drifted off for a moment, and I dreamed of you. You said you've always been by my side, protecting me."

Molly Yun cried along with her: "Yes, I've always been here. Cici, hang on, don't get surgery, don't... The Yun Family Legacy Elixir isn't a cure-all! The only reason you survived the first time is because of your strong natural immunity. This medicine can only be used once. That's why I only took it once—after that, I couldn't hold on anymore."

Cecilia Gu nodded slightly. "I know."

Suddenly, Cecilia Gu gripped Molly Yun's fingers tightly. "Sis, it hurts so much."

"I know, I know." Molly Yun was sobbing uncontrollably. "Just a little longer, push through this and you'll truly be reborn! Cici, this is our fate! We both have to endure different struggles to be reborn! It's our destiny—there's no escape!"

"I'll listen to you..." Cecilia was in so much pain her body curled up like a shrimp, her hands clutching Molly Yun's so tightly her nails dug into Molly's arm. Molly didn't make a sound, just kept adjusting Cecilia's oxygen mask.

Suddenly, the doctor shouted, "I see the head! Quick, one more push, you're almost there!"

Molly Yun immediately said to Cecilia, "Cici, just a little more! Push, you can do it!"

Cecilia felt as if her entire skeleton was about to fall apart.

She felt like her body was no longer her own.

But she kept fighting!

Because she believed her sister!

"Sis... did we... in our past life... did we owe too much... is that why... we have to suffer like this..." Cecilia suddenly screamed, unable to control herself, gathering all her strength for one final push!

"Waa..." A loud cry of a newborn filled the room.

"She's out, she's out, finally!" The doctors and nurses were almost moved to tears.

The nurse quickly blocked him. "Mrs. Yin is fine. She's resting with an IV now. After a bit of observation, she'll be out. President Yin, you can't go in—you haven't been disinfected!"

If anything happened to Mrs. Yin, their lives would be ruined!

"Congratulations, Mrs. Yin, it's a healthy Little Princess!" the head nurse immediately said to Cecilia Gu.

"Sis, I did it..." Cecilia was so weak she could barely speak, but her fingers clung tightly, refusing to let go. "Promise me, don't leave me! Promise you won't abandon me!"

"I promise you." Molly Yun nodded with tears in her eyes. "Cici, you were amazing! I'm so proud of you! You really did it!"

At that moment, someone outside exclaimed, "Wow, look! There's a rainbow in the sky! It's beautiful!"

Old Madam Yun glanced at the sky, sighed, and said, "The little devil has arrived."

The nurse came out with the Little Princess to share the good news: "The Little Princess weighs eight pounds, eight ounces, and she's very strong."

Charles Yin didn't even look at the baby; he grabbed the nurse. "How's Cici? Is she okay? Is anything wrong?"

While asking, Charles Yin tried to rush inside.

The nurse quickly blocked him. "Young madam is fine. She's resting with an IV now. After a bit of observation, she'll be out. President Yin, you can't go in—you haven't been disinfected!"

Only then did Charles Yin reluctantly stop, turning to glare fiercely at the newborn Little Princess. "It's all your fault! You made your mom suffer so much! Just wait till you grow up—I'll settle the score with you!"

Finally, it was Eric Yin's turn to hold the baby. Overjoyed, he took her in his arms, saying, "Call me uncle, call me uncle..."

Mrs. Yun finished looking at the baby and gazed longingly inside.

Both her daughters were inside.

Watching Cecilia deliver her child safely, she couldn't describe her feelings.

As a mother, you love your daughter most.

But her own daughter is a mother now too.

Her heart...

It aches twice as much.

In the delivery room, Cecilia Gu drifted off to sleep as she received an IV.

Only then did the nurse come over to treat Molly Yun's injured arm.

"Miss Yun is so good to young madam. She didn't make a sound even with such injuries," the nurse couldn't help but say. "Young madam really suffered. Most women don't hurt this much giving birth—young madam's pain was truly life and death."

Molly Yun gazed tenderly at Cecilia Gu's pale, sleeping face and whispered, "Yes, she's suffered so much. Thankfully, it's all over now."

After her wound was treated, Molly Yun didn't leave. She patiently stayed with Cecilia until her IV was finished, and only once she was sure Cecilia was okay did she help push the hospital bed out with the doctors and nurses.

As soon as they left the delivery room, Molly Yun saw Charles Yin at the front, his face pale with worry.

Molly Yun gave a subtle smile.

Her sister was lucky.

Her brother-in-law was so considerate.

"Sis..." Charles Yin greeted Molly Yun respectfully. One look at Molly's injured arm, and he instantly understood it was from Cecilia's pain at its worst.

This time, he really meant it when he called her 'Sis.'

"Cici's fine. She made it through." Molly Yun smiled calmly. "We've finally solved the hidden danger. Now I can rest easy."

"Thank you, Sis." Charles Yin replied earnestly, not daring to be rude.

He wasn't foolish enough to offend his wife's beloved older sister...

Especially one his wife both respected and depended on...

After Mrs. Yun checked on Cecilia, she brought the baby over for Molly Yun to see.

Molly Yun carefully took the baby and looked her over. "Wow, this little one looks just like her dad!" she said.

Everyone around laughed.

Old Madam Yin was also satisfied. "I just said so! When Charles was born, he looked exactly like this! It's so funny—when Yuhan was born, he didn't look much like his dad, but this little one looks even more like her father than Yuhan did!"

Charles Yin was full of pride. "Of course, of course."

Nora Muir chimed in from the side, "Daughters take after their dads, sons take after their moms!"

Jiro Hirayama glanced thoughtfully at Nora Muir's belly. "So that means we'll have to have another baby."

"Why?" Nora Muir eyed him warily.

"We need to have one that looks like me," Jiro Hirayama replied matter-of-factly.

Nora Muir held back, finally snapped out of it, and twisted Jiro Hirayama's arm. "When did you ever check the baby's gender for me?"

Jiro Hirayama grimaced in pain. "It was when you had your blood test last time—I just kept a little sample as a souvenir... Ow ow ow! I'm sorry, I really am! Next time I take a blood sample, I'll tell you first!"

"Huh? You need blood samples as souvenirs too?" Nora Muir was about to explode!

Why is her husband so weird?

Other people collect handprints, footprints, or baby hair as keepsakes!

Her husband collects blood samples as keepsakes!

This is just too much!

How bizarre can you get!

Everyone laughed and chatted as they moved to the regular hospital room, where the Jiang family was already waiting.

Mrs. Jiang came over from afar. "Let me hold the baby, let me! I'm her great-aunt!"

Molly Yun handed the baby to Mrs. Jiang, who immediately beamed, showing her off to her husband and son. "Look, doesn't her brow and eyes look a bit like Jiang Xue?"

Mr. Jiang nodded with a smile. "She really does."

Eric Jiang's gaze landed on Molly Yun, not missing her red eyes and injured arm.

He still didn't know that both the Yun and Yin families were aware that Molly Yun was actually Nora Yun. He was still covering for her, saying, "Look at you—other people have babies, and you're the one scared out of your wits."

The Yun and Yin families all laughed together.

How could they not be nervous?

In the whole family, the most nervous ones were Charles Yin and Molly Yun!

Molly Yun smiled gently at Eric Jiang, shook her head, and didn't explain anything.

At that moment, Cecilia Gu slowly opened her eyes. She turned to see her whole family gathered happily around her bed.

As soon as Cecilia woke up, everyone noticed.

Charles Yin rushed over first, grabbed Cecilia's fingers, kissed them again and again, and said with deep affection, "Honey, you worked so hard! Let's never have another baby—I can't bear to see you suffer like this again! Now we have a son and a daughter. Our family is complete!"

Cecilia smiled.

Mrs. Yun came over and tugged at Cecilia's blanket. "Cici, you make your mom so proud."

"Mom..." Cecilia's eyes reddened, then quickly turned to Molly Yun.

Mrs. Yun nodded and smiled, showing she understood everything.

Old Madam Yin was overjoyed and said to Cecilia, "Cici, you're the Yin family's hero! Did you know? When the baby was born, the sky was glowing with rosy clouds! It was so beautiful..."

Rosy clouds in the sky?

Cecilia and Molly Yun immediately looked at each other.

Why does that sound so familiar?

Wait a minute!

Oh no!

When Zixiao Yun was born, the sky was glowing too...!

Old Madam Yun just chuckled, saying nothing.

Eric Yin exclaimed excitedly, "Yes, yes, it was so beautiful! Does this mean our Little Princess is destined for greatness?"

Cecilia thought, 'Forget destiny. Just don't cause trouble!'

There are already two little troublemakers in the house. If there's another one...

Oh my god!

And the thing is, Nora's baby is also due this year!

If you count the children of Zixin Mo and Zixuan too...

Oh my god! (Little Yueyue face)

The whole world might just turn upside down!

They say a woman's intuition right after giving birth is pretty accurate.

This intuition...

...pretty much sets the tone for the future.

But for now, everyone was just busy being happy.

Charles Yin gently held Cecilia's fingers and said, "Cici, you're the baby's biological mother, so you have the right to name her. You named Yuhan and Mia, too—what do you want to name this one?"

Cecilia looked at Molly Yun again. "Sis, if it weren't for you, I might not have been able to give birth to this child safely. You're the most talented person in our family. You should name the baby."
