The man's voice was loud, and as soon as he spoke,
The others, who hadn't noticed Evan Lin before, now all turned to look at him.
Colin Liu, though, kept his gaze fixed on Lily Liang, never once shifting his attention.
They were just worrying about not having a chance to impress Colin Liu.
Now that a kid like Evan Lin showed up right in front of them, how could they possibly let such a golden opportunity slip by?
"This elevator doesn't welcome you. Get out!"
One of them finished speaking, then stepped forward and kicked straight at Evan Lin.
Evan Lin shifted slightly to the side. The attacker couldn't stop in time, his expression changed, and he shot out of the elevator entrance, slamming into the wall with a loud bang.
"You actually dared to dodge!"
Another man saw this, his face darkened with coldness, and he swung a slap at Evan Lin.
"What a bunch of idiots."
Evan Lin shook his head, reached out, grabbed the man's wrist, and gave it a casual squeeze—bones snapped instantly.
The man let out a miserable scream as chaos erupted inside the elevator.
Colin Liu raised an eyebrow, about to look up and see which punk dared to interrupt his fun.
But before he could—
His head had just lifted, his gaze hadn’t even turned, and before he could see Evan Lin’s face, he suddenly felt his body go weightless.
Then—
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Cries of shock rang out inside the elevator.
Everyone in the elevator was thrown out the doors by Evan Lin as if they were garbage.
"Who the hell has the guts?"
Colin Liu exploded in rage, roaring furiously.
Just as he was about to get up, a few more bodies came flying, knocking him down again and making him grimace in pain.
"Are you looking to die?"
Colin Liu snapped back to his senses, surged his inner force, and sent all the Ren Family members around him flying.
He glared fiercely toward the elevator.
But the elevator doors had already closed and started descending.
"Sanjian bro!"
"That guy, that guy doesn't even put your Liu Family in his eyes!"
Several Ren Family guys and girls scrambled up from the floor, battered and miserable. One had a wrist completely broken and was howling nonstop.
"Go after him! Chase him!"
"I'm from the Ancient-Martial Liu Family! I don't believe it—who else dares show off in front of me? I'll make him pay!"
Colin Liu slammed the button for another elevator, staring hard at the floor numbers above the one Evan Lin and Lily Liang were in.
He was going to block them!
"That was someone from the Ancient-Martial Liu Family just now. The Liu Family... there's someone really strong in there."
The elevator was descending. Lily Liang was still badly shaken and quietly glanced at Evan Lin beside her.
Suddenly being hit on had scared Lily out of her wits.
Especially after hearing who that guy was from the group, Lily was even more flustered.
Ancient-Martial Liu Family.
Above the Liu Family, there's someone at Heavenly Phenomenon!
"Liu Family is just Liu Family, nothing to worry about."
Evan Lin didn't care at all.
Back in Hong Kong, those Ancient-Martial Liu Family guys even ran over there to try worshipping some fake immortal.
In the end, their inner force got completely wiped out.
Evan Lin ended up benefiting from it instead.
As for those so-called Ancient-Martial Liu Family idiots, Evan Lin didn't even bother wasting a glance on them.
"But..."
Lily Liang wanted to say something, but finally held back.
She just wanted to get Evan Lin out of here as fast as possible.
Otherwise, if they really ran into someone from the Ancient-Martial Liu Family, they'd draw the attention of a Heavenly Phenomenon powerhouse.
"What are you doing here?"
Standing at the entrance was Ethan Lu, frowning coldly as he looked at Evan Lin approaching.
His eyes were filled with icy disdain.
Lily Liang froze when she heard the voice, staring blankly at Ethan Lu.
"Why can't I come here?"
Before Lily could reply, Evan had already spoken up.
"This place isn't somewhere you belong."
After settling Mia Chen and the others, Ethan was still thinking about how he could bring Mia over to see the real high-end circles.
That way, Mia could truly appreciate just how extraordinary the Lu Family was.
He hadn't even figured out how to get Mia and the others over yet, and here Evan was, right in front of him.
Especially when Ethan glanced at the woman beside Evan.
This woman hadn't been on the cruise before.
"Is she your friend?" Ethan raised an eyebrow, his gaze at Evan even colder. "Well, well, I really didn't expect it. You're pretty good at pulling tiger skins to make banners, huh."
"If I’m not mistaken, you’re trying to hit on this woman, then sneak into Emperor International Hotel as my friend! Just so you can show off your so-called status and background in front of her?"
In Ethan's mind, everything suddenly linked together.
He’d used tricks like borrowing someone else’s name to boost his own image plenty of times before.
But he never imagined one day he’d be the one getting his thunder stolen by this kid!
"Who are you?" Lily frowned, staring at him.
She’d thought Evan and Ethan knew each other, maybe even friends.
But after a few exchanges, she suddenly realized something was off.
He wasn’t here for friendly chit-chat.
The hostility was obvious.
Especially when he talked about Evan, his tone was pure contempt.
"Who am I? You’re asking who I am?"
Ethan snorted, looking at Lily. "Let me spell it out for you, stupid woman."
"This kid only got close to me through Mia Chen!"
"I don’t know what trick he used to sneak in here using my name, but this is where it ends!"
"He doesn’t deserve to be here. You’ve been fooled by him."
Ethan shook his head.
He looked at Lily with even more disdain.
To him, she was just another brainless woman trying to climb the social ladder by latching onto a man.
Sure, she was pretty, but that was all she'd ever amount to in this life.
"He lives here. Why can’t he come?"
Lily’s face darkened at his words.
"Lives here?"
Ethan scoffed, "Him? You think someone like him qualifies to stay here?"
"This isn’t a place just anyone can stay at!"
"But, since you say so, maybe he snuck a room card from somewhere, who knows."
Ethan’s expression turned cold as he looked at Evan. "Hand over the stolen room card, now."
"And get the hell out of here!"
"From now on, stay far away from Mia Chen. If you do, I’ll spare your life for her sake—just this once!"
