Patriarch Samuel Shen locked onto Liam Yang, trying to attack, but Liam’s spatial teleportation was no joke. He flickered all around the area, leaving Samuel completely baffled, unsure what to do next. The others finally witnessed how terrifying Liam could be.
“Damn it!” Samuel Shen was furious, unable to take down Liam Yang.
Instead, Liam was toying with him. Seeing Liam’s ability, Xander Xu realized Samuel Shen lacked the power to fix space and couldn’t catch Liam.
After watching Liam for a while, Xander Xu sent a voice transmission to Samuel Shen: “Lure him over here.”
Samuel Shen tried to force Liam Yang toward him, but just couldn’t manage it. It was as if Liam refused to get anywhere near the Demon Tiger.
Liam kept his distance because he knew the Demon Tiger could spit out those razor-sharp things, slicing him open and draining his blood to strengthen itself.
Seeing Liam wouldn’t approach, Xander Xu grew furious and decided to try a different tactic. He controlled the Demon Tiger to go after Liam, the beast spewing sword-like blades from its mouth. Meanwhile, Elder Hugh Hu and the others freed up their hands to deal with Xander Xu.
As soon as Liam saw all this, he quickly flickered away, disappearing from his original spot.
Seeing Liam vanish, Xander Xu cursed, while Samuel Shen had already returned to Xander’s side to help him fend off Elder Hugh Hu and the others.
Xander Xu saw Liam reappear and cursed inwardly, "Looks like it’s time to use that method."
Suddenly, Xander Xu’s body swelled into a giant phantom, shrouded in black qi. Elder Hugh Hu was shocked, exclaiming, “You’re from Magus Heaven Realm?”
“That’s right, Magus Heaven! The Demon Tiger came from there—I’m just reclaiming what’s mine. You forced me to reveal my true form!” Xander Xu shouted.
Suddenly, the Demon Tiger went blood-crazed—bloody light filled the space. Liam Yang, like Elder Hugh Hu and the others, felt strands of blood being drawn from his body, floating into the blood-red array.
Elder Hugh Hu was alarmed. "Don’t let your blood touch that array!"
Liam Yang hurriedly reached out to block his own blood, but it was no use—he couldn’t stop it.
When Liam’s blood hit the array, the Demon Tiger let out a thunderous roar—"ROAR!"—and its aura surged. Everyone was stunned. Under Xander Xu’s control, the Demon Tiger grew even stronger, instantly injuring Heaven’s Guardian Hall’s people. Xander then shouted to Samuel Shen, “Quick, grab him!”
Although the Demon Tiger had absorbed some of Liam Yang’s blood, Xander Xu would never let such precious blood go to waste—he had to capture Liam, raise him carefully, and draw his blood whenever needed. It was like having the perfect puppet.
Following Xander Xu’s instructions, Samuel Shen quickly seized Liam Yang inside the blood array, leaving him unable to break free.
Liam Yang hadn’t expected that inside the Demon Tiger’s blood array, he wouldn’t be able to move at all—his blood kept leaking out bit by bit. Samuel Shen, having walked through the array, grabbed Liam and laughed, “Only Heavenly-Dao experts can move here. You? Even with spatial teleportation, so what? Watch how I deal with you now.”
With that, he dragged Liam out of the array. Elder Hugh Hu and the others inside were shocked—they might be Heavenly-Dao experts, but their blood was still pouring out. To avoid dying here, they all activated escape techniques and vanished in a flash.
Xander Xu ignored them, instead having Samuel Shen hold onto Liam Yang while he controlled the Demon Tiger to charge out of the abyss. Outside, people suddenly witnessed a bizarre scene—a giant man and a giant tiger appeared, leaving everyone stunned.
They all tried to attack Xander Xu and the others, but realized they had already vanished at incredible speed—these people were not ones they could contend with. Elder Hugh Hu, back at Heaven’s Guardian Hall, said, “Quick, recall everyone outside. This situation is about to get serious.”
“That’s right, people from Magus Heaven have appeared. This is so bizarre. No, I have to report to the Hall Master,” Elder Hugh Hu said.
Everyone nodded, and Elder Hugh Hu left, wounded, to find people.
Meanwhile, Xander Xu was soothing the Demon Tiger, while Samuel Shen stayed with Liam Yang.
“Tell me, why are you capturing me? I’ve got no grudge with you,” Liam Yang sighed.
“No grudge, but I need your blood—and I need it every day. So I have to keep you by my side. Don’t try anything funny, or we’ll kill you on the spot,” Xander Xu said.
“You’d better let me go. If my master or my father finds out, you’re dead,” Liam Yang didn’t want to become their blood furnace or follow them around every day.
“You have a father and a master? Now that’s interesting,” Xander Xu laughed.
“Of course. Don’t you have a father and a master?” Liam Yang glared.
As soon as he entered the liquid, Liam Yang immediately felt a powerful, violent urge surging up. He frowned and muttered, “Damn it, does this Demon Pool actually demonize a person’s nature?”
Seeing Liam Yang struggling, Xander Xu laughed and said, “Don’t bother resisting. In ten days, you’ll come to like this feeling.”
Liam Yang snorted coldly, “My father won’t let you off.”
“Whatever. If your father was coming, he’d be here already, but he still hasn’t shown up, has he?” Xander Xu laughed.
“Maybe my dad’s just napping. He’ll be here soon,” Liam Yang said.
“Then I’d like to see what kind of person your father is. But seeing how clueless you are, I doubt he’s much better,” Xander Xu sneered. At this moment, Elder Hugh Hu, the gourd-wielding elder, and several other experts arrived outside.
When they saw Xander Xu and the others in the Demon Pool, they frowned. Elder Hugh Hu shouted, “Let him go!”
“What if I say no?” Xander Xu laughed.
“Hall Master, what do we do?” Elder Hugh Hu looked at the gourd-carrying elder. The old man said, “Xander Xu, you used to help us slay demons, but I never thought you were actually from Magus Heaven Realm.”
“Gourd Sage, what else could I do? If I didn’t, how could I get close to those demonic cultivators and beasts? They’re my companions, after all. Do you know why I’ve stayed here all these years?” Xander Xu laughed.
“Why?” the Gourd Sage asked curiously.
“Of course, it was for the Demon Tiger. Years ago, you trapped him, so I came here searching and found him imprisoned in Tigerlock Cavern. But Tigerlock rejects demonic beings, so I couldn’t enter. I waited, hoping one day the Demon Tiger would escape. I never thought my wish would actually come true.” Xander Xu laughed heartily.
Hearing this, the Gourd Sage snorted coldly. “No matter what, we can’t let you return today.”
“Is that so? Then come down if you’re able. This is the Demon Pool—once you enter, you’ll be tainted with demonic nature. Some of your techniques will clash with it,” Xander Xu laughed fearlessly.
“Damn it, you planned this all along?” the Gourd Sage said angrily.
“That’s right, the Demon Pool was made for this—to keep you people out. Now it works perfectly,” Xander Xu laughed.
The Gourd Sage knew he couldn’t seize Xander Xu today, so he said, “Then we’ll stay here and see how you leave!”
“I never planned to leave. Once their demonic nature takes hold, I’ll return to Magus Heaven Realm,” Xander Xu laughed.
“Damn it!” The Gourd Sage was unsettled by this. Liam Yang called out, “If you’re going to act, hurry up, or I’ll turn into a demon soon!”
