An Old Acquaintance in the Elite Divine Hall

Evan Yang looked at Gavin White and asked, "Do I look scary like this?"

"Not at all," Gavin White replied with a smile.

Evan Yang smiled, walked over to the bed, sat down, and looked at Gavin. "Sometimes even I can't control it myself."

"If you can't control it, then don't," Gavin said. Hearing this, Evan stopped trying to control his body. Instantly, his blood surged, his skin returned to normal—though it became burning hot. When Gavin's fingers touched his scorching skin, she couldn't help but shiver, her body flushing with heat as well.

Seeing Gavin's blushing face, Evan suddenly hugged her waist and kissed her. In no time, the two were already on the bed.

Outside, the others were still drinking. Lynn Lin asked Winter, "When did you two get married?"

"We haven't gotten married, but he's always treated me as his first wife." Winter was naturally naive and rarely interacted with the world; she just answered whatever people asked.

Evan's mother overheard and said, "That child never told me. I'll make it up for you two later."

"Thank you, Aunt," Winter replied awkwardly.

Brandon White laughed, "I say, why not make it up for all of them?"

"Senior, what do you mean by that?" Lynn Lin asked awkwardly. Everyone chimed in, nearly drowning out Brandon White, who, along with Tony Tong and the others, withdrew to let the women keep chatting. Patriarch Yang and Liam Yang grew more and more pleased—the more women Evan Yang had, the more they saw it as good fortune for the Yang clan.

"What do you think about today?" Tony Tong asked Brandon White.

"Hell Palace came to cause trouble, and that mountain bandit stronghold showed up too. I'll be sure to settle the score with both of them," Brandon White said.

"Hell Palace really went overboard, but it just shows how dangerous they think Evan Yang is. As for that treasure Evan mentioned, for them to send so many experts after it, it can't be simple either," Tony Tong said.

Brandon White nodded, "Exactly."

"Later, let's ask him what it actually is," Tony Tong said, just as curious as Brandon White.

Elsewhere in Hell Palace, Yue Gui received the report and flew into a rage. "Damn it! Heavenly Dao Academy sent so many people, and they didn't even touch a hair on that kid!"

This made Yue Gui even more anxious. If Heavenly Dao Academy really intended to protect Evan Yang, how could they even get close to him? Unless they mobilized a force strong enough to confront the Academy, it would be nearly impossible.

It was destined to be a long night. The next morning, when Evan Yang woke up, he looked at the naked Gavin White beside him and smiled. Feeling Evan stir, Gavin opened her eyes and saw his gaze roaming over her body. She quickly pulled up the quilt to cover herself. "You're so bad! You got up and didn't even wake me."

"I just wanted you to sleep a bit longer," Evan Yang replied with a smile.

"You just wanted to look a little longer, didn't you?" Gavin said with a laugh. Evan grinned, "Whatever you say."

With a turn, Gavin was already dressed. Evan, with a flick, was off the bed and fully clothed as well. He smiled, "Let's head out. It's not safe here anymore."

"Alright, let's go," Gavin said with a sweet smile, taking Evan's hand as the two walked out together.

When they stepped outside, they saw everyone in the main hall, chatting idly.

When the others saw Evan and Gavin come out, they all gave knowing smiles. Evan, embarrassed, said, "Everyone, you don't have to look at me like that."

"How do you feel, son?" Evan's mother asked with a smile. Evan was puzzled, "Feel about what?"

"What do you think?" Evan's mother laughed. Evan replied helplessly, "Mom, what are you thinking?"

Brandon White laughed, "Your mother says she's planning to throw you a few more weddings." Evan, embarrassed, said, "Mom, I have urgent business at Heavenly Dao Academy. You all go into my treasure first."

Soon, Liam Yang and the women were all sent into the treasure. Once inside, Evan finally had some peace. Brandon White then asked, "Evan, do you know what artifact that mountain bandit group wanted from you?"

"The Five God Spear," Evan replied.

"Of course. The Exquisite Realm is a place everyone wants to go, but there's a catch—once you've entered, you can't go again. For example, me," Tony Tong explained.

"Birthplace of Heavenly Dao artifacts? What does that mean?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

"It's a world filled with Heavenly Dao Intent—a strange space that opens every so often. Each time it opens, everyone rushes in to look for Heavenly Dao artifacts, and there's always fighting. Plus, there are other dangers inside the space," Tony Tong explained to Evan Yang.

Evan Yang nodded, "Got it."

"So work hard—whether you're training or treasure-hunting, be extra careful," Tony Tong said.

"Alright, understood," Evan Yang replied.

Tony Tong nodded, then said, "I'll let you enter the Elite Divine Hall first to learn a few things from someone. What you learn may really help you this time."

"Oh? Who is it?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"We're here," Tony Tong said, stopping outside a room. Evan Yang wondered who it would be.

Tony Tong opened the door, revealing an old man half-reclining on the floor. The old man looked at Tony and said, "What now, Tony Tong? Who have you brought me this time?"

"You'll be interested in this one," Tony Tong said with a smile, then led Evan Yang inside.

When Evan Yang and the old man locked eyes, both were stunned for a moment. The old man smiled, "Long time no see."

"So it's you, Senior," Evan Yang greeted respectfully, shocked that this senior was actually from Heavenly Dao Academy.

"You two know each other?" Tony Tong asked suspiciously.

"I spent some time in the Chaos World, met a lot of people. This kid really left an impression," the old man said with a smile.

The old man in front of Evan Yang was the very one he'd met on his first trip to the Chaos World. Back then, the old man had said Evan hadn't even reached the minor or middle realms. Evan had thought he'd just met a powerful expert, never realizing he belonged here.

"Since you already know each other, even better. Elder Du, I'll leave this guy to you. Be sure to teach him your cultivation art before the Exquisite Realm opens—remember, he's the future of our Academy," Tony Tong said, then took his leave. Evan Yang was confused—when did he become the Academy's future?

Elder Du smiled amiably at Evan Yang. "Didn't expect we'd be so fated."

"Yeah," Evan Yang replied with a smile.

"I'm puzzled, though—after all these years, you're still at Immortal Sovereign. So how did you get into the Academy, and why are you its future?" Elder Du asked, raising several questions.

Evan Yang replied, "True strength isn't just about cultivation realm."

"That's true. Since you've become a member of the Elite Divine Hall, that proves you're extraordinary. So, I'll teach you my cultivation art," Elder Du said with a smile.

"What cultivation art do you practice, Senior?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"The Decomposition Art!" Elder Du smiled.

"Decomposition Art?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously. Elder Du just smiled, and then his body automatically decomposed and dispersed. Evan Yang was stunned—this was similar to the technique he'd seen in the Spirit Prison Realm, where the Four Great Evil Souls could freely dissolve and re-condense their forms.
