Chapter 797: Lord of the Three Great Races
To his left, the Spellbook of Ages materialized out of thin air, its pages fluttering without wind, endlessly flipping as countless incantations flowed across its surface.
On his right, the slowly turning Arcane Wheel emerged, endless runes assembling themselves into spell after spell upon its surface.
In an instant, Leon began chanting spells at breakneck speed, conjuring an endless torrent of magic before him—a fearsome flood that surged forward, every spell's power magnified to infinity.
Even a simple Fireball spell became a colossal sphere of flame, stretching over a thousand meters wide. Icicles turned into towering pillars of ice, each more than a kilometer long. All these spells fused together, forming a magical flood ten thousand meters wide, crashing mercilessly toward the giant.
The shattered void began collapsing inward toward the giant, trailing the magical flood in its wake. The entire expanse trembled, as if on the verge of complete destruction.
Fragments of the void collided with the terrifying flood of spells, unleashing a shockwave that swept across thousands of kilometers. The giant swung his arms, runes surging along his limbs, unleashing equally fearsome magic in retaliation.
The spells he cast were all at least ninth or tenth rank, yet they were held back by Leon’s low-level spells, whose power had been amplified beyond measure.
Leon’s torrent of low-level spells, like a razor-sharp blade, pierced straight through the giant’s hundred-kilometer-long magical flood.
The hundred-kilometer-wide flood of spells engulfed the hundreds of meters of space under Leon’s control. The space trembled and shook with the magical onslaught, yet somehow held firm—it did not break.
Leon’s torrent of spells struck the giant’s arm like a razor, colliding fiercely with the runes covering the giant’s limb. Runes burst forth in all directions, but Leon seized them immediately.
Within seconds, the giant’s arm was severed completely—a massive limb thousands of meters long collapsed, dissolving into a cloud of runes.
Now, the giant abandoned his attack on Leon and scrambled to reclaim the cloud of runes. Meanwhile, hundreds of colossal Mage’s Hands, each over a kilometer wide, materialized in the void, grasping fiercely at the runic cloud.
Leon snatched a large portion of the runes, integrating them into the space beneath his control. The space expanded rapidly—thousands, tens of thousands, even a hundred thousand meters…
Leon managed to seize about half the runic cloud; the rest was reclaimed by the giant. When the giant’s arm regenerated, his size had shrunk to just nine thousand meters tall.
A war of attrition began. The space under Leon’s control grew to a hundred thousand meters and became increasingly stable, able to withstand even the giant’s magical onslaught.
Gradually, the giant shrank further, while Leon’s domain expanded. By the time the giant was reduced to just over a thousand meters, Leon had claimed half the void.
At this point, the giant seemed to realize that if this continued, Leon would grind him down completely. Suddenly, his thousand-meter body collapsed, transforming into an endless torrent of runes. A burst of golden power exploded, dyeing every rune gold.
In an instant, the golden torrent of runes surged toward the space under Leon’s control.
Rumble...
The entire space trembled as the golden torrent of runes tore through the domain under Leon’s control, surging toward him. Even the rune floating above his head, which stabilized the space, couldn’t fully withstand the onslaught.
At that moment, countless shields appeared, blocking the golden torrent of runes. Shields shattered in droves, only to be replaced by new ones conjured from thin air. Yet, the golden torrent pressed forward, unwavering, toward Leon.
Leon’s expression grew grave. He knew this was the final attack—if he could endure it, victory would be his. The lingering will and power within Constantine’s Skull would finally dissipate. If not, his soul would be utterly annihilated.
In that moment, Leon pushed his spellcasting to the absolute limit, unleashing every spell he knew. Yet all he could do was slow the golden torrent’s advance.
If this continued, the golden torrent of runes would eventually wash over him, grinding his soul to dust.
Gritting his teeth, Leon diverted some of his energy, easing his resistance at the front and instead casting spells at the flanks of the golden torrent.
Giant hands slammed down from both sides of the golden torrent, shaking it violently. Yet, this had little effect—worse, the weakened front allowed the torrent to accelerate.
Just as the golden torrent had crossed most of the distance, and disaster loomed, the attacks from the flanks finally took effect.
A few golden runes flickered—their light faded, and they shot out from the golden torrent.
Compared to the golden torrent, those few runes were like grains of sand on a beach, yet they made Leon’s eyes light up with joy.
Immediately, Leon intensified his assault. Runes exploded from the golden torrent, and Leon captured them, transforming their power into his own.
More and more runes fell into Leon’s grasp. His domain expanded, growing ever more stable, and the golden torrent’s movement was increasingly restricted.
Leon shifted his focus—most of his strength now went into offense rather than defense.
With this positive feedback loop, when the golden torrent was just a few hundred meters from Leon, it finally detonated—every rune was seized by him.

In an instant, the space under Leon’s control expanded rapidly. The broken, chaotic void outside was swiftly calmed, and Leon regained complete dominion over it.
Leon’s consciousness withdrew from the mindscape, while the massive radiance outside contracted swiftly, merging entirely into his body.
Suddenly, the Spellbook of Ages and the Arcane Wheel appeared at Leon’s sides. His Core Meditation Codex flashed within them, as the Void Furnace Codex and Heart of Elements Codex began to fully merge into both artifacts.
Countless runes surged forth, and the Core Meditation Codex fused completely with the Spellbook of Ages and the Arcane Wheel—no longer distinct, no more separation between artifact and codex.
Leon’s aura surged, growing ever stronger and more profound.
Behind him, the Mana Harness in his body manifested as a massive wheel, constructed from countless components—a dizzying, intricate star disk that made one’s head spin just to glance at it.
The Law of Balance surged within the Mana Harness, as every Core Meditation Codex formula and rune fused completely into it. Soon, the Law of Balance vanished, and the Mana Harness began to morph.
The Mana Harness transformed into a gigantic disk, with Leon seated at its center. Rays of light flowed around him, and a simple yet profoundly mysterious luminous scale appeared.
From the Spellbook of Ages, endless runes flew out, forming a colossal furnace beside the luminous scale. The furnace seemed to contain infinite void; the Spellbook of Ages floated within it, and the Void Furnace Codex devoured and transformed boundless power into pure mana, which was channeled through the luminous scale into Leon’s body.
On the other side of the scale, the Arcane Wheel unleashed a torrent of runes and light, forming a radiant heart that seemed to contain every color. All elemental powers blossomed within this Heart of Elements Codex, and immense power was also funneled through the luminous scale into Leon.
As time passed, Leon’s aura grew stronger. Eventually, the profound Void Furnace, the radiant Heart of Elements, and even the luminous scale all collapsed in an instant.
The great disk beneath him shattered as well, leaving only endless light and runes swirling rapidly around Leon. At last, all the light and runes converged, linking together and merging into his body as pulsating luminous runes.
Suddenly, Leon’s aura exploded—powerful, with a strange sense of oppression. His robes whipped wildly, and his hair lashed the air like whips, cracking loudly.
Eyes closed, Leon floated in midair, mysterious symbols appearing all around him. The Spellbook of Ages and Arcane Wheel orbited him like satellites around a star.
After a long moment, Leon opened his eyes and slowly descended, his aura now stabilized at the rank of First Title Magus.
