Landon Lu just smiled at Martin Tai's praise, saying nothing extra.

"Landon, I heard your dream is to become a Psychic Adept?" Martin Tai suddenly changed the topic.

Landon Lu nodded.

Martin Tai frowned slightly. "Landon, listen to your teacher's advice—put your energy into Body Arts. If you master Body Arts, you can still stand out. Just working hard isn't enough to become a Psychic Adept; talent matters most. That's why they're so rare. Take our university, for example: out of over three thousand students, there's only one Psychic Adept."

"I understand, sir," Landon Lu replied calmly.

Sigh.

Martin Tai sighed softly. "Landon, I'm not trying to discourage you. Many people work as hard as you trying to become a Psychic Adept, but very few succeed. Besides talent, you need advanced mental secret arts and psychic solution to train, and psychic solution is incredibly rare and expensive—ordinary people can't get it. Since you're so gifted in Body Arts, why not focus there?"

"Thank you, sir. I understand," Landon said, a hint of stubbornness in his tone.

Martin Tai could tell from Landon's expression that the kid hadn't really taken his advice to heart. Helpless as he felt, he couldn't help admiring him a little.

He continued, "Landon, your Body Arts cultivation is already at the level of a sixth-level Warrior. You should buy a martial skills manual and start training with it. That's the only way to fully unleash your strength."

Landon Lu frowned slightly when he heard that.

He knew martial skills manuals were expensive—ordinary ones could cost hundreds of thousands of credits per book, and advanced ones could go for millions or even tens of millions.

"I know your family's finances are tight," Martin Tai went on. "So I have three suggestions. First, you could work at the university's Body Arts Hall for at least a year—then you'll get a basic martial skills manual. Second, you could apply to join the City Special Police. Their minimum requirement is fifth-level Warrior, and you're already sixth-level, so your chances are good. If you get in, you'll also receive a basic martial skills manual."

Third, the military will be recruiting at our university next month. The minimum requirement is also fifth-level Warrior, so you shouldn't have trouble passing. In the military, you'll learn basic martial skills, and if you earn merit, you can access advanced martial skills.

Of course, in terms of prospects, the military is the best choice, but it's strict and you'll have to sacrifice some freedom.

Joining the City Special Police is more relaxed, but it's hard to learn advanced martial skills there.

As for the Body Arts Hall, it's even more laid-back—a pretty comfortable job, really—but you won't be able to learn advanced martial skills there. If you want to grow, it's best to join the City Special Police or the military. If you prefer a stable life, staying at the Body Arts Hall is a good option!

"Alright, I'll think about it! Thank you, Mr. Tai," Landon nodded.

"No problem. You're my student—it's my job to help. Alright, you can go now. If you run into any trouble, come find me!"

Landon got up, thanked Martin Tai again, and left the office.
