Looking at the people all from his own Soul-World, Saint King Duran simply couldn’t bring himself to attack. Furious, he shouted, “You think doing this will stop me from killing you?”
Evan Yang frowned as well. If things really were like this, then Saint King Duran would definitely be restricted. In this situation, the only option was to disperse these souls, but how could he do that?
“Senior, is there any way to make these souls recall their past? Right now, it seems like they've completely lost their spirit.” Evan Yang asked.
Hearing Evan’s question, Saint King Duran thought for a moment, then stretched out his hand. A barrier formed around them, enveloping Evil King Highmore and Evil King Lowen. At the same time, the two Evil Kings saw a familiar scene appear before them.
“This...” Evil King Highmore asked suspiciously, while Evil King Lowen seemed to have been here before as well.
As this place appeared, the souls began to stir and gradually dispersed.
Evil King Highmore seemed to realize something. He exclaimed in shock, “So that’s it! No wonder this place looks so familiar. You actually created a barrier illusion to make them remember this as their Soul-World!”
Sure enough, as soon as Evil King Highmore finished speaking, many of the souls drifted away. Seizing the opportunity, Evil King Highmore and Evil King Lowen quickly pulled out two jade pendants. As soon as these pendants appeared, they began to glow with light.
Saint King Duran was shocked when he saw this, but before he could react, the light from the pendants faded—and the two vanished.
The souls remained inside Saint King Duran’s barrier. At least his mood had improved; he gathered up the souls. Evan Yang asked curiously, “What were those pendants? Why did they disappear just like that?”
"Those are their Personal Jade Escape Pendants, brought from their world. Whenever they're in danger, they use them to teleport back to their own realm," Saint King Duran explained.
"So you mean they escaped?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.
"Yes, that's exactly what happened," Saint King Duran replied.
Evan Yang sighed. "What a shame."
"If they show up again, I definitely won't let them go," Saint King Duran said to Evan Yang. Evan nodded, "Yeah, let’s get moving."
"Where are you headed?" Saint King Duran asked curiously.
"It's time I returned to my own world. Until we meet again," Evan Yang said.
"Until we meet again," Saint King Duran replied. The two parted ways. Evan Yang found a nearby city, asked about the Saint King Divine Hall, and then headed there.
Inside the Saint King Divine Hall, Evan Yang saw Gavin White anxiously waiting.
"You're finally back!" Gavin White said excitedly.
"Alright, this won’t happen again," Evan Yang said awkwardly.
Saint King James smiled, "Where are they? How did you make it back?"
Evan Yang explained everything to the group. When everyone finished listening, they all looked shocked.
"The two of them escaped?" Saint King James asked.
"Yes, it's already done," Evan Yang replied.
"What a pity. If those two aren’t eliminated, they’ll always be a threat to this world," Saint King James said.
"We can’t find them now, so we’ll just have to wait and see when they show up again," Evan Yang said.
"It’s fine. I’ll stay here for now. If you have things to do, go ahead," Saint King James said, knowing Evan Yang was here for business since he wasn’t a native.
Evan Yang smiled, "Then I'll take my leave, everyone."
"You're leaving?" Master Spirit Caller asked.
Evan Yang nodded, then turned to Gavin White and said, "The two of us have finished what we came here to do, and now that the Evil Kings have been captured, there’s nothing left for us here."
Master Spirit Caller smiled, "Thank you this time. Without you, things wouldn’t have gone so smoothly."
"It’s what I should do. I hope we get to meet again," Evan Yang said with a smile.
Master Spirit Caller nodded. Saint King Wood and the others were a bit reluctant, since Evan Yang had stayed with them for a long time and they’d grown attached. Huan Wuqin also felt uneasy hearing Evan and Gavin were leaving, but since parting was inevitable, she smiled and said, "You’re always welcome to come back."
"I hope so too," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
So Evan Yang led Gavin White back the way they came. As they walked, Gavin asked, "We’re just leaving like this?"
"What, you want to stay here?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Not really. It’s just that after being here so long, I’ve gotten used to it. If there weren’t constant Saint King and Evil King conflicts, I wouldn’t mind staying," Gavin White said with a smile.
"Same here, I feel the same," Evan Yang laughed.
"Why don’t we come here to retire someday?" Gavin White joked.
"Retire? You really think you’re some old hermit in the mountains?" Evan Yang laughed. But deep down, he knew his journey was far from over, and this place wasn’t his destination—he needed to become stronger.
"Who says only old people can retire? Seriously," Gavin White said.
"Alright, we’re almost there," Evan Yang said with a smile.
Just then, Gavin White paused and smiled, "Looks like we’re in luck."
"What is it?" Evan Yang hadn’t noticed what was ahead, but Gavin White pointed forward.
When Evan Yang saw the group of flying people ahead, he laughed, "Talk about a narrow road for enemies—it’s time to settle things."
"If it were before, I definitely wouldn’t let you go. But now, do whatever you want," Gavin White said, knowing Evan Yang could easily handle those people.
Evan Yang smiled, then stopped the four people with Gavin White. The four were shocked and delighted to see Evan and Gavin. These were Elder March and her group; they’d been here for a while, searching for Evan, planning to look elsewhere—only to run into Evan and Gavin on their way back.
"Kid, we’ve been looking for you forever," Gold Three said.
"Looking for me? What, you haven’t had enough of getting beaten?" Evan Yang laughed.
"Hmph, don’t get cocky. With the four of us today, I don’t believe we can’t take you down," Gold Three snorted.
"Last time, the three of you teamed up against me and still lost. So what, you think adding another makes you stronger?" Evan Yang laughed.

"Arrogant! Watch how we deal with you," Gold Three said angrily, joining forces with Elder March and the others. But after just a few rounds, Evan Yang subdued all four, leaving them unable to move.
The four were so stunned they couldn’t speak, only staring at Evan Yang in terror.
"I told you, the four of you aren’t my match. Looks like you’ll be stuck here forever," Evan Yang sneered.
With that, Evan Yang and Gavin White left, leaving the four behind. They were furious, and soon after Evan left, someone appeared.
That person was none other than Evil King Lowen. He sneered, "Kid, don’t think this is over. I’ll make sure you remember me."
Evil King Lowen walked over to the four. The four were overjoyed, hoping he’d save them, but Evil King Lowen extended his fingers, and four beams of light locked onto them. After a moment of painful struggle, they could move again—but their eyes glowed. When they stopped, all four said in unison, "Master."
"Go, return to your world and destroy his physical body for me. I want his soul to be without a body!" Evil King Lowen commanded.
"Yes, Master," the four replied, then left.
Evil King Lowen took out his jade pendant and vanished. Evan Yang and Gavin White had no idea what happened; they thought the four were just trapped and no one could help them, not realizing they’d been controlled.
Evan Yang and Gavin White soon exited the Spirit Prison Realm and returned to their bodies. The first feeling upon leaving was comfort. Evan Yang smiled at Gavin White, "Reality really is better."
"Are you teasing me?" Gavin White laughed.
"Not at all," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
Seeing Evan Yang’s eyes fixed on her, Gavin White smiled, "Alright, let’s go."
With that, they set off together, searching for Du Siniang’s world.
As for the four, they regained consciousness but had lost track of Evan Yang.
Evan Yang and Gavin White quickly crossed the Cross Evil Army, which was no longer an obstacle. Not only that, Evan felt his soul had grown stronger, and after returning to his body, his strength had increased as well. Although he hadn’t broken through to Immortal Lord, his power was clearly greater than before. Now, even if faced with a Heavenly Dao expert, Evan wouldn’t avoid them.
Gavin White didn’t know this, but when he sensed Evan’s change in aura, he asked curiously, "You...?"
