Ryan Lu Gets His Hand Held by a Beauty

Henry Xiao's face darkened. He said, "I'll step out for a moment."

He left the room.

Inside the private box, they glanced toward the stage. There was a curtain they could lower.

Once the curtain was down, it felt like their own little world.

If you lifted the curtain, you could see everything outside.

Lucia Lu swept her divine sense around the area, instantly feeling disgusted. Even the wine and pastries before her seemed to lose their flavor.

She frowned and said, "Let's get out of here!"

Ryan Lu noticed it too.

This place was practically a brothel.

No wonder all the guests were men.

The three of them stood up and left the box, heading downstairs.

Just as they reached the staircase, someone suddenly called out to them: "The Flower Queen Contest hasn't started yet. Are the three High Gods leaving already?"

The three turned around and were instantly struck by the beauty of the newcomer.

It was an exceptionally beautiful woman.

She wore a pale blue immortal robe, her waist slender, black hair like clouds, eyes bright and teeth gleaming.

But the shoulders and part of her dress were sheer and see-through, revealing snowy white skin and adding a touch of sensuality.

Ryan Lu quickly turned his head away, not daring to look at her.

Lucia Lu said coolly, "Does the fairy need something?"

"Nothing else!" The woman said enthusiastically, trying to keep them. "Just thought, if you left now, wouldn't it be a wasted trip?"

As she spoke, she walked up to Ryan Lu and suddenly grabbed his hand. "Young master, why don't you stay?"

"What are you doing!" Ryan Lu yanked his hand away from her.

The woman was just a little immortal—she couldn’t withstand his force at all.

She was sent flying, tumbling to the ground.

"What did you shove into my hand!" Ryan Lu angrily flung the thing away.

It was a sheet of talisman paper, drifting lightly to the floor.

Lana He's face changed dramatically. She looked around in panic and rushed forward, trying to snatch the talisman back.

But just then, a streak of blue light flashed over.

With a sharp clang, it pinned the talisman to the floor.

It missed her hand by just a hair—almost nailing it to the ground.

Lana He froze for a moment, then reached again for the talisman.

Before she could touch it, someone grabbed her hair and yanked her up.

A man in black appeared, asking her coldly, "Lana He, what are you doing?"

Lana He screamed, "High Gods! Take the Clarity Charm away! Please, just take it out of Hundred Blossoms Paradise!"

All three of them turned to look at the talisman.

It really was a Clarity Charm.

What was going on?

The man in black's face darkened. He reached out and pulled his sword back, dragging the Clarity Charm with it.

But halfway up, the talisman slipped off the sword and flew in another direction.

It was Lucia Lu.

She unleashed a burst of divine power, snatching the Clarity Charm into her hand.

The man tried to seize it too, but he was no match for her—Lucia Lu easily took the talisman.

"This is my family's business, High Gods. Don't meddle!" the man in black said.

"No—" Lana He managed to scream, but her mouth froze in mid-word. She couldn't say another thing.

Not only could she not speak, she couldn't move either.

The man must've cast some kind of silence and immobilization spell.

"Hand over the talisman," the man said to Lucia Lu, reaching out.

Lucia Lu immediately cast a spell, trying to see what was inside the Clarity Charm.

But the sword-qi from earlier had already damaged the Clarity Charm—no matter what spell she tried, nothing could be seen.

"Give me the Clarity Charm!" the man in black demanded. "Otherwise, none of you will leave Hundred Blossoms Paradise."
