The First 4D Color Ultrasound

1/4/2026

Cecilia Gu slowly sat up in bed and, with Wendy's help, tidied up her clothes.

The doctor had just finished typing on the keyboard when the computer produced a complete 4D color ultrasound animation.

Before Cecilia could walk over, she heard Charles Yin's voice, full of surprise: "Is this little one my son?"

The doctor immediately replied with a beaming smile, "Yes, this is the young master! He’s very handsome! His features look just like you, President Yin! This animation shows the child’s development from birth to adulthood—there’s a margin of error, but you can already tell the young master will be absolutely stunning."

Cecilia couldn’t help but lean in to take a closer look.

Charles Yin pulled Cecilia into his arms, ignoring the people around them, and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Honey, you’re amazing!"

Cecilia blushed, playfully punched Charles, and then stared intently at the animated video on the computer.

From the 4D color ultrasound, their baby’s features were already forming.

As expected, even though the baby was just over five months old, the development was absolutely perfect.

The facial contours looked just like Charles Yin, but the expression was all Cecilia.

The animation began, simulating the baby’s future growth.

From newborn, to one year old, two, five, ten years old...

The simulation went all the way up to eighteen.

When the computer showed a strikingly handsome young man walking forward with a smile, Cecilia immediately covered her mouth in shock.

Oh my god, her son was going to be so handsome!

Charles Yin noticed Cecilia staring at the handsome young man on the screen and suddenly felt annoyed!

He had just been so thrilled and proud that his son was good-looking!

But now! He wasn’t happy at all!

Because his wife was more focused on their son than on him!

Not happy!!

Cecilia didn’t even notice Charles’s unhappiness. She stroked her belly, looked at the computer, and said to Charles, "Charles, our son is even more handsome than you!"

Charles squinted his eyes slightly.

How is he more handsome than me?

Huh? Where?

Eyes, nose, mouth—they’re all carved from the same mold as his dad. How is he more handsome than me?

Honey, look closely! Who’s really more handsome?

Cecilia waited for a response from Charles but didn’t get one, so she turned to look at him.

And that one look from Cecilia...

Huh? Why did he look so jealous?

"Alright, alright, I won’t look anymore. Send the animation to the chairman. Are there any other tests? If so, hurry up and do them so we can leave!" Charles grumbled, clearly annoyed.

Even the doctor was a bit confused, but when he looked up and saw the president acting jealous while holding his wife...

Everyone instantly got it!

The doctors secretly wiped their sweat. The president seems to be getting more and more attached to his wife lately!

Cecilia was hurried through the remaining tests, and once they were done, Charles whisked her away.

Cecilia was still confused, not understanding why Charles had suddenly gone from fine to sulking.

Back home, as soon as Cecilia changed her clothes, she saw Charles standing in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection.

He never used to care about his looks, right?

Why was he suddenly so vain today?

"Honey... am I getting old?" Charles stared at his sharp features in the mirror and suddenly asked Cecilia, sounding insecure.

Cecilia walked over to Charles and gently cupped his face in her hands.

Charles cooperatively lowered his head, letting Cecilia touch his face, and looked at her expectantly.

Cecilia studied him seriously for a long time before finally saying, "Hmm, you’re definitely not as fresh-faced as our son."

Charles’s face immediately turned blue.

"But you’re more mature than our son," Cecilia said slowly. "They say sons take after their mothers. So, hubby, who do you think is better looking—us two?"

Charles thought for a moment, then grinned and hugged Cecilia. "My wife is still the most beautiful!"

"Feeling better now?" Cecilia teased, laughing.

"Much better!" Charles greedily inhaled Cecilia’s scent. "Honey... aren’t we not allowed... in a few days? Should we, you know, get busy now..."

Cecilia blushed and playfully slapped Charles’s hand. "Stop it! We promised to go home for dinner today. If you keep messing around, we’ll be late again."

Charles frowned slightly. "Ever since Ethan Yin came back, there’s been this new rule at home. But you don’t have to follow it."

Cecilia replied seriously, "Honestly, this rule is more for Ethan than for us. By the way, how’s Ethan been doing at the company these days?"

Charles sneered, "He’s just a spoiled rich kid. What else? I gave him an advertising company to run, just like Grandma instructed. I heard that after only a couple of days at work, he’s already rumored to be involved with his secretary. There are plenty of people who want to be the Second Young Mistress of the Yin Family."

Cecilia looked at Charles in surprise. "Wasn’t Ran Xiwei with Ethan Yin? She’s not bothered at all?"

Charles’s eyes glinted, as if he already knew something. He didn’t want to tell Cecilia, so she wouldn’t worry. He said, "No matter what they do, as long as it doesn’t threaten the Yin Family or you, I’ll pretend nothing happened."

After Ran Xiwei came back this time, Charles did suspect her motives.

But she’d covered her tracks so well over the past six years, it was really hard to find anything.

Still, she’s bound to slip up eventually.

When his people reported that Ran Xiwei had tried to seduce Shang Ke after returning from the cruise, Charles knew he’d guessed right!

Ran Xiwei definitely has some secret agenda!

So, what exactly is she after?

She tried desperately to get back together with him, but when she saw there was no hope, she immediately turned around and started seducing Shang Ke...

Ha... So much for being deeply in love, huh?

Changing faces so fast—is that really okay?

She changed so quickly, there’s only one excuse that could explain her behavior.

She’s... broke!

The Ran Family had already fallen, but Ran Xiwei’s spending habits were just like before—she wouldn’t even look at second-tier brands, only top luxury.

Such huge expenses definitely need a lot of money to support.

So, it makes sense why she was so desperate to come back.

It also explains why she suddenly latched onto Ethan Yin.

After all, once Ethan Yin returned to the Yin Family, they were bound to give him a big pile of money.

All of this was Charles’s speculation—he still needed to confirm it.

So he didn’t mind Ran Xiwei sticking with Ethan Yin.

Worst case, when it’s time to clean house, he’ll clean them up together!

After what she did to Cecilia, it’s already unforgivable!

Ran Xiwei thought she’d covered her tracks, but with Charles watching her, how could she escape his scrutiny?

"Just be careful," Cecilia told Charles, then added, "And I’m not jealous. I just think it’s really weird how she suddenly got so close to Ethan Yin."

Charles couldn’t help but laugh.

Of course he knew that his little wife said she wasn’t jealous, but in her heart...

Well, that was something he’d never call her out on.

At Ethan Yin’s villa, Ethan was almost at his breaking point!

Ran Xiwei kept getting close to him, but never let him have her!

Ethan could only look, never touch—he was about to lose his mind these days!

"Xiwei, are you playing me on purpose?" Ethan finally couldn’t hold back. "I give you piles of money, buy you all kinds of limited editions, even let you drive my sports car—what more do you want?"

When Ran Xiwei heard Ethan say that, her eyes instantly filled with tears. She looked at him in disbelief: "So this is what you think of me! Ethan, if that’s how you see me, fine, I have nothing else to say! I’ll give everything back to you! I don’t care about your filthy money! I thought you were different, I thought you weren’t like those other rich boys. I thought you really liked me, that’s why you were with me! But I never thought you’d see me this way! You have no idea what kind of life I lived before—I grew up privileged, too! And now you think I’m with you for the money!"

To make it more convincing, Ran Xiwei took off all her expensive luxury items and threw them at Ethan. "Here, I’m giving it all back! I misjudged you, Ethan! I thought you were someone I could trust for life! But I was wrong! I gave you my whole heart, and you still doubt me! Do you know how much pressure I’m under to be with you? Do you know how my parents’ friends talk about me, saying I’m crazy for being with you? But I didn’t care about any of that—I just wanted to be with you. And you? How do you repay me?"

Ethan was instantly thrown into a panic.

"Did you think I didn’t know about you and your secretary? I just pretended not to notice because it’s hard to find the right person! Ethan, how could you do this to me? How could you get involved with another woman and then question if I’m after your money!" Ran Xiwei cried even harder, grabbed her bag and acted like she was leaving. "I’ll go, okay? If you don’t trust me, then let’s just break up!"

That one sentence completely changed Ethan’s mind.

"Alright, alright, I just said one thing, and look how much you said. I’m sorry, okay? Stop crying! We still have to go to Grandma’s for dinner. I’ll take you, alright? I promise I’ll never do this again, I’ll listen to you about everything!" Ethan hurried to comfort Ran Xiwei.

A barely noticeable smile flashed in Ran Xiwei’s eyes.
