Grace returned to the Spirit Alliance, took care of some daily affairs, and in the afternoon, went down the mountain together with Joanna Zuo.

However, before they even reached the checkpoint, Grace suddenly pulled Joanna aside and gestured for her to be quiet.

Joanna followed Grace’s gaze suspiciously and saw Andrew Zhao.

He was talking to someone.

They quietly moved a few steps into the nearby bushes and saw everything clearly.

The person he was talking to was Lily Xu.

"...Lily, I’m begging you! For the sake of what we had, please ask Prince Zane to help, say a word for the Duke Zhao Mansion!"

With that, she strutted through the checkpoint and sashayed up the mountain.

Grace glanced at Joanna Zuo. Joanna’s face was tinged with sorrow and mockery, but she was no longer sad.

The two waited for a while. Andrew Zhao just stood there like a block of wood, not moving.

As the time to see patients approached, Joanna Zuo pulled Grace and walked out.
