I Have Come to Kill You

The eastern side of the Mount Yellow Scenic Area.

This area is an undeveloped forest, with no proper roads and almost no sign of human life. But Ethan Ximen, leading his two Gifted companions, pays no attention to such obstacles.

"Open!"

One of the girls extended her slender, jade-like hand.

The dense thickets of thorn bushes all around shivered and parted as if suddenly startled, gradually opening up a path through the undergrowth.

"Ethan, how did I do?" the girl looked at Ethan Ximen.

"Not bad, not bad. You're still a bit behind me, but that's already quite impressive," Ethan replied sincerely.

"Hmph."

The girl named Oriole Huang snorted, her expression proud.

Beside her, the other girl—Finch Huang, Oriole’s twin—showed a trace of sadness on her face. “Ethan, Oriole, you both have Gifted Powers. Only I have none.”

Gifted Powers!

Such incredible abilities!

Whenever they encountered thorny undergrowth, Finch Huang could only watch as Ethan Ximen and her sister Oriole displayed their marvelous Gifted Powers, opening up brand new paths.

"Don't worry, Finch." Oriole took her twin sister's left hand. "As long as we run into a ghost this time... cough, once Ethan kills it, you'll absorb its power immediately. I’ve already told you how to do it, right?"

"But... I'm still worried," Finch admitted, anxiety on her face. She feared she wouldn’t gain an ability as strong as her sister’s or Ethan’s.

"Haha."

Ethan Ximen scratched his nose, unsure how to respond.

His shattering-type Gifted Power is so strong that even major martial families are impressed, believing he already has Martial Artist Realm strength and wanting to recruit him as a guest expert.

"Eh?"

"Don’t speak, I think I hear something." Ethan’s face grew serious as he exchanged glances with the twins. Advancing two hundred meters with utmost caution, he gazed into the thick woods ahead.
