Shattering the Mountain

1/11/2026

A city near Mount Yellow, fifteenth floor of a hotel.

The room is steeped in tranquility, yet a peerless killing intent permeates the air.

“You truly have no idea what’s good for you.”

“Disturbing our sleep... Just watch, I’ll beat you to death!” Andrew Han’s face gleamed with a frosty, razor-sharp killing intent. His gaze pierced the curtains, glancing at the night sky beyond.

The moon, round as a disk, hung high above.

The swirling summer wind whistled past the buildings.

“Monica.”

Andrew Han returned to the side of the large bed.

“Sleep. Rest a little longer.”

Andrew tucked in the covers, feeling the warmth radiating from the bed. Yet the killing intent in his heart only intensified.

Fortunately—

The girl possessed a Law-Realm-bestowed protective art; he had no need to worry, otherwise he would never have left this hotel room... The Law-Realm’s granted technique was so formidable that even Sect-Class Demons and Specters could hardly break it.

Besides, with Inspiration spreading over a radius of twenty-two kilometers, he had already confirmed there were no apex Demons or Specters in the area.

Thinking of this, Andrew Han sat by the bed, gently brushed Monica’s jet-black hair aside, revealing her sweet, slightly shy sleeping face, a faint, contented smile still lingering at the corners of her lips.

Even in her dreams, she was still a little happy.

Andrew couldn’t help but smile, kissed her softly, stroked her delicate nose twice, then got up and left the hotel.

“Testing the strength of my Inspiration?”

“Since you’ve come, don’t think of leaving... Any Specter Andrew Han decides to kill won’t survive!”
