Complete Victory

At this moment, Heavenbane Demon General was wholly focused on healing his wounds, completely unaware that Evan Chu had already stealthily approached. The thick demonic qi swirling around him carried a heavy scent of blood.

Evan Chu slowly circulated the Chaos Dragon Force within his body. This strike was his final trump card—if it failed to kill Heavenbane, he would have no choice but to flee.

Sweat beaded on Evan's palm as he gripped the Frostbane Sword. It was the first time in his life he had faced a single opponent with such caution—a foe who, at this moment, was the strongest enemy he had ever encountered.

He immediately unleashed Earthsplitter, striking with thunderous speed at Heavenbane Demon General. As the sword fell, Heavenbane instantly sensed a spatial fluctuation in the crater, but the attack was so sudden he was caught completely off guard.

Although he detected the spatial shift in the pit, it was already too late to dodge. Heavenbane could only hastily swing his longsword to block—an instinctive reaction that few others could match for speed.

Boom! A deafening explosion echoed between them. The power of Earthsplitter was so immense it could cleave a mountain in two—let alone the soil of this crater.

Heavenbane Demon General was instantly split in half by Evan Chu's sword, and the surrounding earth was pulverized to dust by the overwhelming force of the sword-qi.

The strike was like a giant bomb, shattering the earth within hundreds of meters and creating an even larger, deeper pit before Evan Chu.

Evan felt a wave of exhaustion—he had burned through most of his Chaos Dragon Force. But seeing Heavenbane Demon General cleaved in two, he thought it was worth the cost.

Yet something bizarre happened again. The bisected Heavenbane Demon General slowly began to knit himself back together, but now he had transformed into a mass of demonic mist.

"Frostbane, that sword strike was impressive, but you still can't kill me. Maybe when you master Star Cleave, you'll have a chance. But you'll never obtain the Netherghost Violet Orchid, so you'll never break through to the Saint Martial Realm. Frostbane, this reincarnation of yours is doomed to lose to our Lord yet again." The black mist that was Heavenbane sneered.

Evan Chu glanced at the black mist and replied, "Maybe I can't kill you now, but that doesn't mean I won't in the future. Now that you can't recover your body, isn't that as good as death?"

"Frostbane, I'll repay today's grudge twice over in the future. Just wait—within ten years, Frostbane Sect and the other great sects will be annihilated. My Dark Organization will unify the entire Azure Tide Ruins!" the black mist threatened.

With that, the black mist shot skyward, but Evan Chu could only watch helplessly as Heavenbane escaped, powerless to stop him.

Evan glanced at the massive crater before him, once again marveling at the power of Earthsplitter. He wondered just how destructive the techniques Star Cleave and Heaven Cleave might be—could a single sword strike destroy dozens or even hundreds of miles?

Afterward, Evan Chu teleported toward Frostbane Sect. Within a few breaths, he arrived, finding the battle nearly over. As expected, the Freewind Palace Lord and others had proven themselves formidable—though they had slain countless masked attackers, they remained uninjured, with only their Stellar Power heavily depleted.

Seeing Evan Chu return, the crowd rushed to greet him. The Freewind Palace Lord was the first to ask, "Sect Master Chu, did you kill the black-clothed attacker, or did he escape?"

Evan Chu smiled awkwardly. "I only managed to seriously wound him—he escaped. His strength has reached the Fifth Layer of the Saint Martial Realm, and his battle experience is terrifying. I did my best, but against such a ruthless ancient powerhouse, surviving is already a stroke of luck."

The Freewind Palace Lord knew Evan Chu's true identity and power well. If she had faced this opponent herself, she probably wouldn't have returned alive. The fact that the enemy had reached the Fifth Layer of the Saint Martial Realm—equal to her own sect's reclusive ancestor—was almost unbelievable.

"How are your injuries?" the Freewind Palace Lord asked.

I won't die for now. All sect masters, you've worked hard. Our victory against part of the Dark Organization is thanks to everyone's united effort. I believe they'll be quiet for a while, so take this opportunity to rest and reorganize your sects.

But everyone must also stay alert for any changes among your disciples. The Hidden Plague Demon General's gu poison is peerless—if your disciples are controlled and cause harm to your sect, it will be too late. I've warned you all.

Then Evan Chu quietly told the Freewind Palace Lord, 'Soaring Feather Young Lord has been controlled. He was the one who poisoned everyone. I know you may not believe it, but it's true. You have to find a way to purge the gu poison quickly, or his life is in danger.'

If you really can't do it, I can help you—but not now, since tonight is my wedding night. My four brides are surely anxious in the bridal chamber, especially with all this chaos. It's rare that they haven't rushed out already.

The Freewind Palace Lord was stunned—Evan Chu's words struck her like a thunderbolt. She had raised Soaring Feather Young Lord herself, treating him as her own son. If anyone else had said this, she would have been furious, thinking it a slander.

But the words came from Evan Chu—she would never doubt him, no matter whom she suspected. The seriousness of the situation hit her again, and she said immediately, 'Thank you for the warning. If I really can't purge the gu poison, I will come to you for help.'

The Freewind Palace Lord didn't know much about gu poison, but she knew someone in her palace who might. If that person could purge it, all the better; otherwise, she'd have to ask Evan Chu for help, avoiding owing him a favor.

Alright, everyone, get some rest. Tomorrow we'll celebrate tonight's great victory. As for me, I'm off to see my brides." Evan Chu ignored what others thought and headed straight for the bridal chamber.

Before Evan Chu reached the bridal chamber, he heard voices inside. Lynne Nie and Selena Yale were the loudest, while Serena Dream and Selena spoke only occasionally. Their conversation naturally revolved around the events at Frostbane Sect tonight.

Evan Chu originally planned to knock and enter, but suddenly thought to surprise the four brides. He immediately used Earthshift, vanishing into the ground and sneaking into their room.

The four brides were chatting and laughing when Evan Chu suddenly emerged from the floor, startling them. They quickly calmed down and all stared at Evan, no one speaking.

At that moment, Evan Chu couldn't take his eyes off the four brides, as if he were sitting in a bed of flowers. They were at their most beautiful, impossible to look away from.

After a moment, Evan Chu said, 'My wives, you are truly beautiful tonight. I am lucky beyond measure to marry you all.'

None of the brides replied. Tonight was their wedding night, and no one wanted to be teased for wanting to spend the night with Evan, so they all held back.

But Evan Chu couldn't stay calm. 'Tonight is our wedding night. I had this bed custom-made—it's big enough for all five of us. Shouldn't we get down to business? You've all taken off your veils, so you've been waiting a long time, haven't you?'

Selena spoke up first. 'What are you talking about, Evan? All five of us together on our wedding night? You might like that, but I don't.'

'We don't want that either. You should know why—we don't need to explain. Evan, if you insist, you'll only disappoint us.' said Lynne Nie.

'Come on, I was just joking—why such a big reaction? Don't forget, you're all my women. You don't have the right to refuse me!' Evan Chu said.

Selena Yale said, 'Evan, we may be your women, but all of us sleeping together is embarrassing. Some of us are virgins and afraid of this. Don't make it hard for them—just pick one bride for tonight.'

Evan Chu smiled and said, 'If I choose Serena Dream, it wouldn't be fair to the rest of you. If I choose Lynne Nie, it still wouldn't be fair. So the only fair way is for all of us to be together.'

The four brides blushed, their faces as red as ripe apples. Serena Dream said, 'We don't mind whoever you choose. I can give up my turn.'

'I can give up too!' 'Me as well!' The brides spoke together, making Evan Chu feel troubled—having so many wives really is a headache.

Evan Chu laughed, 'I can't agree to that, but I have a better idea. You're all my women—of course I can't play favorites. Let's draw lots. Whoever gets number one will spend the wedding night with me, number two goes next, and so on. Once everyone has become a woman, then we can all sleep together.'

The four brides looked at each other in silence. Lynne Nie finally said, 'Alright, I agree.' 'Me too!' ...

Seeing the brides agree, Evan Chu got paper and pen, wrote the numbers one to four on four slips, then crumpled them up so no one could see which was which.

'Alright, everyone draw a slip. Whoever gets number one will be with me tonight. Don't go back on your word—I've already compromised as far as I can. If people hear that Evan Chu didn't spend his wedding night with his bride, my reputation will be ruined.'

The four brides hesitated, but Selena Yale took the lead and broke the awkward silence. She walked up, picked a slip at random, and left.

Serena Dream was second—she had dreamed of becoming Evan Chu's woman for countless nights. Although she didn't want to sleep with all the brides at once, she hoped for a private wedding night with Evan.

Lynne Nie and Selena took the remaining slips. Evan Chu was satisfied. He smiled and said, 'Now you can check your numbers. Don't be disappointed or complain—this was your decision.'

The brides opened their slips and showed different expressions. Selena Yale was delighted, Serena Dream was nervous, Lynne Nie was calm, and Selena was disappointed.

'Tell me your numbers! Who will spend the wedding night with me?' Evan Chu smiled.

Selena Yale revealed she had number two, which was exactly what she wanted.

Serena Dream had number one, meaning she would become a true woman tonight. Her heart was racing even before speaking.

Lynne Nie had number three—not bad. She could watch Serena Dream and Evan Chu on their wedding night and prepare herself.

Selena was left with number four, though she had hoped for first place. Fate had other plans.

'Serena, you'll be with me tonight. The night is short—let's go. This bridal room is for the others; we'll use another.' Evan Chu smiled and lifted Serena Dream in his arms.

Serena Dream felt embarrassed being carried in front of the other brides, but she was sweetly happy. The two left for the next room.

It was late and everyone else was resting. Luna Chu, who had wanted to tease Evan Chu on his wedding night, stayed in her room because of the Dark Organization's attack.

'Serena, I told you that you'd become my woman. See? I was right!' Evan Chu smiled as he placed Serena Dream on the bed.

'You're such a rascal, but I've accepted it. Becoming your woman, I won't regret it. Please treat me well and don't neglect me for the others. Can you promise?' Serena Dream whispered.

'Of course. Now, let's have a toast.' Evan Chu produced two wine cups as if by magic, handed one to Serena Dream, and linked arms to drink together.

Serena Dream drank in one gulp, blushing. 'Evan, I know you have the Pure Yang Constitution. Please be gentle—it's my first time and it will hurt.'

'I understand. I'll make sure you're happy. One thing—when I channel Pure Yang Qi into you, absorb as much as you can. It'll help you a lot, maybe even increase your power, though not enough to reach Saint Martial Realm, but your Stellar Power will grow.' Evan Chu said.

'I understand, just be gentle!' Serena Dream said, then began to undress herself...
