"Uh—Father—" Rachel Sasaki was stunned, unable to speak. She hadn't expected that the middle-aged man would ask such a question right away. Caught off guard, her pretty face instantly flushed bright red.
Seeing Rachel Sasaki's reaction, the middle-aged man immediately understood a lot. He turned and fixed Shawn Young with a piercing glare, asking coldly, "Kid, be honest—did you sleep with my daughter!?"
Shawn Young hadn't expected such a blunt question. Embarrassed, he felt Rachel Sasaki suddenly grip his hand tightly, her palm slick with nervous sweat. Taking a deep breath, Shawn stepped forward and replied to the middle-aged man, "Yes, Rachel is now my woman. I—I have the duty and responsibility to protect her!"
The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment, then glared coldly at Shawn Young and sneered, "Protect her? Kid, what makes you think you can protect Rachel? Does she even need your protection? Do you know how much taking her virginity has affected her cultivation?"
"Uh—well—don't worry, I—I absolutely have what it takes to protect her!" Shawn Young mustered his courage to answer. He knew he'd taken Rachel Sasaki's virginity, causing her Yin energy to drain and her cultivation to weaken. Seeing her father get more and more agitated, Rachel Sasaki hurried to explain, "Father, I—I did this not just because Shawn and the Koga Clan have a common enemy. The Murasame Blade and Celestial Silk Armor are also in his hands!"
"What? Rachel, what did you just say!?" The middle-aged man was shocked, his eyes wide as saucers.
Seeing this, Rachel Sasaki quickly pulled him aside and explained in rapid Japanese. The middle-aged man listened with a furrowed brow, his expression shifting as he glanced at Shawn Young with a look of pure disbelief—his face was a real show.
After a long back-and-forth, Rachel Sasaki finally breathed a sigh of relief, then turned to Shawn Young with a blush, winked at him, and introduced in Mandarin, "Shawn, this is my father, Kazuzo Sasaki!"
"Oh—hello, Uncle! Uh—it's nice to meet you—I'm Shawn Young!" Shawn said, blushing as he reached out to greet Kazuzo Sasaki.
Kazuzo Sasaki didn't shake his hand. Instead, he looked Shawn up and down, squinting as he asked, "Kid, do you really have the Koga Clan's treasures—the Murasame Blade and Celestial Silk Armor?"
"Yeah, that's right! But I left them on the mainland. No way to bring them to Hong Kong to give back to you—" Shawn replied, straightforward as ever.
"Oh! Rachel said Hayato Falcon from the Iga Clan was killed by you! Is that really true?" Kazuzo Sasaki asked, looking skeptical.
"Uh—yeah, I took the Murasame Blade and Celestial Silk Armor from Falcon. Don't worry, I've already promised Rachel to ally with the Koga Clan, and when the time comes, I'll return the treasures to their rightful owners!" Shawn replied cheerfully.
"Really!? You—you'll actually do that?" Kazuzo Sasaki's expression grew noticeably excited.
"Of course! I already promised Rachel—I wouldn't go back on my word!" Shawn said.
"That—that's wonderful! So, when can you bring those two treasures over? Or maybe I—I could go with you to the mainland and bring them back myself—" Kazuzo Sasaki was getting a bit impatient.
Shawn Young hadn't expected such a strong reaction. He quickly said, "Uh—I still have unfinished business in Hong Kong. Once everything here is settled, I'll head back to the mainland! Then, I'll return the Murasame Blade and Celestial Silk Armor to you!"
"Oh—uh—okay, okay, thank you—cough—cough—cough—" Kazuzo Sasaki was so excited he started coughing violently, his face turning dark purple.
"Father—please, calm down—it's not good for your health!" Rachel Sasaki rushed over to support him.

"Good! Good! As a man, you must remember your promise!" Kazuzo Sasaki finally nodded and smiled in relief.
"Father—" At this moment, Rachel Sasaki clung to her father's arm, sobbing uncontrollably. She knew her father had fought for her place in Shawn Young's heart. Right then, she truly felt the depth of a father's love!
