Punishment for Impulse

1/19/2026

At this moment, Evan Chu was completely lost in confusion. In his eyes, there was only Jenny Sima across from him. He didn’t care about her status, her strength, or even where they were—like a wild beast, he suddenly stood up and lunged across the stone table at Jenny Sima.

Naturally, he missed. Jenny Sima saw Evan Chu’s movement and expression and immediately realized something was wrong. She hurriedly dodged, evading at the very instant Evan lunged at her.

Seeing that he’d failed, Evan Chu repeated the motion, his blood-red eyes making him look terrifyingly ferocious.

It was the first time Jenny Sima had faced such a situation, and for a moment she was flustered. If it had been anyone else, she could have ended his life with a single move.

But Evan Chu was different. His rare talent was exactly the ideal disciple she’d been searching for so desperately. To kill him—she simply couldn’t bear it.

"Could it be because he drank the tea? Was it drugged? But why am I not feeling anything?" Jenny Sima wondered to herself.

Just as she was distracted by this thought, Evan Chu had already reached her. His strong arms wrapped tightly around her, nearly squeezing the breath out of her.

But that wasn’t all. Somehow, Evan Chu found the courage to kiss her lips—though her face was veiled, Jenny Sima could still distinctly feel the warmth of his lips.

A uniquely masculine scent instantly filled her nose. The abruptness of it all left her completely unprepared.

Though Evan Chu’s mind was clouded, his actions were not. While holding Jenny Sima, he suddenly freed one hand.

He immediately tore off her veil—maybe it was the barrier that made him instinctively do it.

Jenny Sima had never experienced anything like this before; her mind went completely blank. Evan Chu, taking advantage, kissed her lips again.

"Mmm!" Jenny Sima, jolted by Evan Chu’s kiss, came back to her senses and made muffled sounds of protest.

At the same time, she started pushing Evan Chu with all her might, but her body felt weak and powerless, soft all over.

Evan Chu, as if he’d learned some trick from somewhere, grabbed hold of something large and magnificent with his free hand while kissing Jenny Sima.

He kneaded it relentlessly, not caring if he was being too rough.

Having her most sensitive area grabbed by a man—and with such force—snapped Jenny Sima out of her daze.

She twisted her head with all her strength and finally broke free from Evan Chu’s dominating lips.

Smack! She slapped Evan Chu hard across the face.

Even so, Evan Chu still didn’t snap out of it. The obvious handprint on his face seemed to cause no pain at all; he just kept holding onto Jenny Sima.

At this point, Jenny Sima was truly angry. As much as she cherished his talent, she couldn’t let him go unchecked—otherwise, she might lose her first time to him, and while he wasn’t even conscious.

A first-level Earth Martial Realm cultivator was far stronger than a ninth-level Mystic Warrior. Jenny Sima didn’t want to hurt Evan Chu, but she had no choice now.

If she didn’t injure him, she’d suffer for it. Weighing her options, blue starlight flickered in her palm—stellar force gathering there.

She struck Evan Chu’s chest with what looked like a casual slap, but the blow instantly made him release his grip.

He flew backward, blood spraying through the air, and crashed outside the pavilion.

Evan Chu slowly climbed to his feet, chest aching fiercely, and stared in confusion at the furious Jenny Sima.

The burning heat inside him gradually faded, his blood-red eyes returned to normal. "Miss Jenny, why did you hit me?"

Jenny Sima saw that Evan Chu seemed normal again, but her maidenly pride forced her to snap: "Don’t you know what you just did? If it had been anyone else, I would have killed you!"

After saying this, her face burned with embarrassment. Thinking about how this guy had forcibly kissed her and even touched her there, she was furious.

What was even more infuriating was that he didn’t even remember what he’d done. If she’d lost control and let him go all the way, she’d have suffered a huge loss.

Evan Chu was stunned at first, then seemed to understand. "Sorry, I really don’t know what happened. It was like I couldn’t control myself at all. If I did anything disrespectful, please don’t take it to heart."

He brushed it off as if it were nothing—having kissed her and touched places he shouldn’t, yet telling her not to mind. Maybe only someone as bold as him could say such a thing.

"You... you... Forget it. Are your injuries serious?" Jenny Sima was at a loss for words; arguing with him would only make her angrier.

"I’m not dying, but you really hit hard. My blood is still churning inside!" Evan Chu didn’t understand why she’d struck him so fiercely—maybe he really had gone too far.

If that was the case, he couldn’t blame her. He was just unlucky—his condition flaring up at the worst possible time. Luckily, it was her; if it had been another woman, he might have done something truly unforgivable.

A wry, helpless smile flashed across Jenny Sima’s face. "Hit hard? If I’d really hit you with full force, you wouldn’t be standing here talking. I can tell you clearly—I only used fifty percent of my strength."

"A ninth-level Mystic Warrior—I could kill one in a single move. Do you still think I was too harsh?"

"Fifty percent? And you could kill a ninth-level Mystic Warrior with one blow?" Evan Chu was shaken—so this was the power of the Earth Martial Realm?

And she was only at first-level Earth Martial Realm. What if she were at the second or third level? How terrifying would that be?

Thankfully, he was still wearing the Heavenly Silkworm Armor. Without it, Jenny Sima’s half-strength blow might have killed him.

Evan Chu, still shaken, looked up at Jenny Sima across from him and suddenly realized her veil was gone.

A face of breathtaking beauty appeared before his eyes—her flawless, fair skin tinged with a blush that made her even more enchanting.

Her eyes were bright and clear, as if they could see straight through to someone’s heart. Evan Chu couldn’t help but stare, utterly captivated.

"So beautiful!" he couldn’t help but praise out loud.

If Roxanne Lin’s beauty was like a peony, then Jenny Sima’s was like a peony as well—each kind could make a person lose themselves with just one glance.

Jenny Sima clearly heard Evan Chu’s praise. She was confident in her looks.

Many young men, upon seeing her face, would show shock and lustful stares—something she deeply disliked.

That was why she usually covered her beauty with a veil. But now, from Evan Chu’s eyes, she saw something different.

There was no trace of lewdness in his gaze—just pure appreciation, like someone admiring a beautiful thing.

It was completely different from before. This realization changed Jenny Sima’s attitude toward Evan Chu and confirmed that what happened earlier was truly unintentional.

"These are healing pills! I look forward to your performance tomorrow!" Jenny Sima took out a red porcelain bottle and handed it to Evan Chu.

She then turned and left, not knowing how to face Evan Chu. He had forcefully taken her first kiss and touched her body.

If he lost control again, she truly didn’t know if she could keep from killing him. But that feeling—one she’d never experienced before—was strangely comfortable...
