Ninefold Stellar Transformation

1/19/2026

With the healing pills Jenny Sima had given him in hand, Evan Chu left the City Lord’s Mansion, a single question gnawing at him the whole way.

After Evan departed, Jenny Sima appeared near the pavilion. "Evan Chu, do you really not know what you did to me today? What secret are you hiding that made you suddenly act like that?"

Thinking about Evan’s actions, Jenny Sima’s face burned, and her curiosity about his secrets only grew.

The tournament was still underway, but Evan had no interest in watching. He needed to quickly recover his stellar force.

From Jenny Sima’s words, it sounded like tomorrow was the real competition—the fight for first place. With a night to absorb stellar force, he might not be fully restored, but he could recover seventy or eighty percent.

Evan returned alone to the Chu estate, where only the weaker disciples remained—the rest had gone to compete in the Family Tournament.

They might not win any ranks, but it was a rare chance for training—much better than practicing behind closed doors.

Back in his room, Evan flopped onto the bed, trying to recall what had happened today, but his mind was blank.

"Still thinking about Jenny Sima? You were pretty bold today!" Luna’s voice echoed in Evan’s mind like a ghost.

"Luna!" Evan jumped up from the bed.

Luna, the Sword Spirit, knew exactly what had happened—how could he have forgotten about her?

Evan blurted out, excited, "Luna, what happened to me today? Why did my Pure Yang Qi suddenly go out of control?"

Just thinking about losing control of his Pure Yang Qi made Evan break out in cold sweat—he wished he could solve this problem right now.

"You—ha! You were unstoppable today, bold and domineering. You actually forced a kiss on Jenny Sima and even grabbed her chest!" Luna said bluntly, showing no embarrassment at all.

A vein popped on Evan’s forehead. Had he really been that reckless? No wonder Jenny Sima hit him with that palm—her strike was powerful enough to nearly kill him.

"Why didn’t you stop me?" Evan retorted.

"Stop you? No way! I wanted to see what kind of punishment a playboy like you would get. Lucky for you she didn’t kill you—you got off easy!" Luna’s tone had a hint of gunpowder.

"Wait, are you jealous?" Evan didn’t know how to argue, so he said it on purpose.

"Jealous? Me, jealous of a brat like you? Please! I’m a lofty Sword Spirit—how could I ever fall for someone so weak?" Luna denied it flatly.

"You’re totally jealous. But honestly, Luna, your voice is so beautiful—you must be gorgeous too. Why don’t you show yourself sometime?" Evan had always wanted to see what the Sword Spirit really looked like.

In his mind, Evan always thought the Sword Spirit must look like a sword, but her voice made him doubt that idea.

"I’m a peerless beauty—you can’t just look at me whenever you want, so don’t even think about it!"

Evan broke out in a cold sweat—this woman was impossible to handle. One casual question and she was already angry.

After a long silence, Luna couldn’t help herself. "Why aren’t you saying anything?"

"Nothing to say. You never answer my questions anyway!" Evan finally got the upper hand and grinned.

"It’s not that I don’t want to show myself—I just can’t. Unless you reach the Heaven Martial Realm, it’s impossible for me to appear.

Right now I’m just a soul body, and most of my soul power is gone. Only about thirty percent remains. If you can help me find Soul Snow Grass within a year, maybe there’s hope."

"Soul Snow Grass? What grade is that?" Evan was curious about this new name.

"It’s a Heaven-tier top-grade spirit herb! Same rank as the Sacred Jade Snow Lotus!"

Evan instantly felt deflated. There was no way he could do that in a year—maybe in ten years, if he was lucky.

"Don’t say I didn’t warn you! But honestly, I doubt you can pull it off, so I won’t blame you. Just focus on reaching the Heaven Martial Realm—then you’ll be able to help me reforge a body."

Evan felt like crying—when would he ever reach the Heaven Martial Realm? It had already taken him two months just to try breaking through to sixth-level Xuanwu.

What Evan didn’t realize was that breaking through to sixth-level Xuanwu was as hard as a normal cultivator’s leap from ninth-level Xuanwu to the Earth Martial Realm, and the stellar force required was immense.

Once he broke through to sixth-level Xuanwu, he could condense an Earth Star Pellet inside his body—a transformation that would overturn his entire strength.

"Luna, why couldn’t I control my Pure Yang Qi today? Don’t you have a solution? Hurry up and tell me!" Evan suddenly remembered just how dangerous it had been.

After a moment, Luna’s voice echoed in Evan’s mind.

"You burned up too much stellar force today, so you couldn’t suppress your Pure Yang Qi—that’s one reason.

Another reason is that Jenny Sima has a natural Nine Yin Constitution, which has a huge attraction to your Pure Yang Body. If it had been Roxanne Lin’s Profound Yin Body instead, you might not have survived today."

Evan sucked in a breath. "It’s that serious? So I have to avoid her every time I see her?"

"Not necessarily. As long as your stellar force is strong enough, you can suppress the Pure Yang Qi. But you should still keep some distance—her aura is exactly what triggers your Pure Yang Qi to riot."

All things in heaven and earth have yin and yang. Yin and yang naturally oppose each other, but they can also merge—so don’t worry too much about it."

Evan nodded, half-understanding. He thought, "Better keep my distance from her. I was lucky to survive today—if it happens again, I might not be so fortunate."

"If you can break through to sixth-level Xuanwu, this problem should be solved. Your stellar force will be vast enough to suppress Pure Yang Qi easily—unless you’re seriously injured or suffer qi deviation.

When that time comes, I’ll teach you a martial art that seizes the fortune of heaven and earth—the Ninefold Stellar Transformation!"

"Ninefold Stellar Transformation? What grade of martial art is that?" Evan knew anything Luna mentioned was heaven-defying, so he quickly asked.

"I’ll tell you when you break through. For now, take Jenny Sima’s healing pills and absorb stellar force tonight. Don’t worry about anything else—tomorrow, you’ll face surprises you never expected!"
