Crimson Sanction Hall’s Fiend Palace Punishment Order
"Who is that woman?" Logan Liu asked curiously.
"Someone you really shouldn't mess with," Mason Liu snorted, still furious.
"Is she from some big clan? Or maybe a top disciple of a rogue cultivator? Or just a master?" Logan Liu guessed.
"Fiend Palace," Mason Liu replied.
"Fiend Palace? What's so scary about that? Just have Grandpa send a Third-Rank General to wipe them out for us." Logan Liu laughed.
"Why not ask for a First- or Second-Rank General then?" Mason Liu glared at him.
"First-Rank Generals follow the Palace Lord, Second-Rank stay inside Fiend Palace." Logan Liu replied awkwardly.
"So you do know a thing or two." Mason Liu snorted coldly.
"You mean even a Third-Rank General can't handle them?" Logan Liu asked suspiciously.
"That guy can easily beat an average Third-Rank General. Unless it's one of the really strong ones, they won't do. As for that woman... damn, even the strongest Third-Rank General wouldn't stand a chance against her." Mason Liu muttered.
“She’s that strong?” Logan Liu asked, surprised at the woman's strength.
“Of course.” Mason Liu glared at him, but secretly muttered, “Her status is even more terrifying.”
“So what do we do? Are we just going to ignore our wine business? If we get that Fourth-Rank General, we could make tens of millions in top-grade Spirit Crystal Ore every day.” Logan Liu said, unwilling to let go of the constant stream of wealth.
“Let me go back and investigate that Fourth-Rank General first, then decide.” Mason Liu snorted, then left angrily with his people, leaving Logan Liu helplessly watching the empty winery.
Mason Liu returned to Fiend Palace and found Captain Lee lying in bed.
“Young Master Liu.” Captain Lee said gloomily when he saw another Liu Family young master arrive.
“He hit you with a single punch?” Mason Liu asked.
“Yeah.” Captain Lee replied awkwardly. A Third-Rank General being repeatedly taught a lesson by a Fourth-Rank General, without even being able to fight back.
“So his strength is at least that of a Third-Rank General.” Mason Liu frowned.
“Seems so.” Captain Lee replied.
“From what I know, you were all in Newcomer Hall before and have sparred with each other.” Mason Liu said.
Captain Lee nodded.
“Tell me everything about your dealings with him—anything related to him, I want to know.” Mason Liu demanded.
Captain Lee didn’t quite understand what Mason Liu meant, but knowing how powerful the Liu Family was, he told Mason Liu everything he knew about Evan Yang.
After Mason Liu finished listening, he thought for a while and then smiled, “I want you to be a witness.”
“A witness?” Captain Lee asked suspiciously.
“To testify that guy killed a Fourth-Rank General—just like you said, Captain Shaw, the one who got bitten to death by a fierce beast.” Mason Liu grinned.
“What?” Captain Lee hadn’t expected Mason Liu to pin Captain Shaw’s death on Evan Yang.
“Don’t worry, you’ll get your reward when this is done.” Mason Liu smiled.
“Alright then.” Captain Lee hated Evan Yang anyway, so having someone deal with him only made him happy.
