Descendant of the Nine-Tailed Spirit Fox

"Heh, the person I've been waiting for has finally arrived." The purple-clothed girl suddenly spoke.

Jenny Sima was just about to ask something when Evan Chu's voice reached her ears at almost the same moment, and then he appeared right in front of her.

"Evan!" Jenny was instantly overjoyed and rushed forward to greet him, while the purple-clothed girl remained still, quietly watching Evan Chu as he arrived.

Evan immediately pulled Jenny behind him and said, "Get back, that purple-clothed girl is dangerous."

As he spoke, he drew out the Frostbane Sword, ready to attack at any moment.

"Heh, Evan, you've got it all wrong. She won't hurt us, so don't make such a fuss." Jenny Sima laughed when she saw Evan's reaction.

"Do you even know who she is? She's just as powerful as the Skyfiend Tiger!" Evan Chu, worried that Jenny didn't understand the danger, quickly explained.

Just then, Zack Zhao and the others returned. Seeing Evan Chu's sudden appearance and his current stance, they were all surprised, unable to understand why he was acting as if facing a deadly enemy.

"I know, her identity really is terrifying, but she won't harm us. She just needs you to agree to one condition." Jenny replied.

Evan Chu looked suspiciously at the purple-clothed girl opposite him, then at the expressions on everyone's faces, as if he'd realized something. He immediately asked, "How did you meet her? What does she want me to agree to?"

At that moment, the purple-clothed girl walked over, a slight smile on her face. If Evan Chu hadn't already known she was the Violet Thunder Fox, he would have been bewitched by her smile—she was simply too beautiful, with a seductive charm that neither Jenny Sima nor Roxanne Lin possessed.

"You must be Evan Chu. It seems you already know who I am. May we speak further in private?" The girl spoke gently, with none of the fierce aura of a demon beast.

Evan was stunned for half a second. Just then, Goldwing sent him a voice transmission: "Boss, agree to her request. I can tell she definitely wants something from you, otherwise she wouldn't be so polite. Foxes like her don't usually hurt people, but they've got massive pride. I've never seen her act this polite before."

"Alright, let's go!" Evan replied bluntly, heading off to the side.

The purple-clothed girl followed close behind, while Jenny Sima and the others remained where they were, quietly watching the two walk away.

"Zack, what do you think that mysterious girl wants with Evan Chu? Could she be trying to become his woman?" a curious student asked.

Everyone had heard rumors about the beauties around Evan Chu. "Nonsense! How could a demon beast mix with a human? Don't talk rubbish or you'll get yourself killed," Zack Zhao snapped immediately.

"Evan Chu really is impressive, actually escaping from the demon tiger's claws. Zack, between you and him, who's stronger?" another student asked.

"I can't compare to Evan Chu. Even though I've never actually fought him, I know I'm not his match—not even for ten moves," Zack Zhao said, feeling utterly helpless inside.

Anyone who could take down the demon tiger is way out of my league. These guys are seriously overestimating me.

"Let's go hunt some monsters, everyone! Don't worry about Evan Chu, he'll be fine!" Jenny Sima said, deciding it was better to kill more monsters and get back to Heavenly Dragon Academy early than stand around speculating.

After walking several hundred meters, Evan Chu stopped and turned to the purple-clothed girl behind him. "State your purpose. Why did you mix in with the crowd? I hope you don't try anything. If I could kill the Skyfiend Tiger, I can kill you too. And don't forget, your old friend is still on my shoulder."

Evan Chu remained wary of the Violet Thunder Fox. Foxes are the most cunning creatures, and the one before him was likely even shrewder than most humans.

"Heh, you're certainly on guard around me. I know you're strong, but killing me won't be so easy. I'm not like that stubborn demon tiger who fought you to the bitter end.

Don't worry, I really have no other intentions. I just want you to take me out of this Monster Beast Forest."

"Haha, even the Enchantress Fox can't help wanting out, huh? As long as my boss agrees, getting you out won't be a problem!" Goldwing flew down from Evan Chu's shoulder, transforming into a middle-aged man as he spoke.

"Goldwing, you're still as ugly as ever. It's been a hundred years, and your strength hasn't improved at all. I've already broken through." the Violet Thunder Fox laughed.

Evan Chu frowned slightly, as if pondering something. After a moment, he asked, "Why do you insist on me taking you out? Aren't others just as capable? And in the past, students from both academies have entered—why didn't you leave then?"

The Violet Thunder Fox, in her human guise, kept smiling—a smile so enchanting it left Evan Chu feeling frustrated. It had been a long time since he'd been close with the woman he loved, and he couldn't help but feel a trace of longing.

"Because only you can take me out. Don't be surprised—I know your true identity. Even though your bloodline hasn't awakened yet, I can sense it clearly. And your beast companion is just as mysterious."

Evan Chu was surprised—the Violet Thunder Fox actually knew his true identity. It was incredible; even Goldwing, who followed him every day, had no idea.

"Don't be surprised, Evan. This little fox isn't ordinary. If you can subdue her, she'll be a huge help to you in the future. If I'm not mistaken, she's a descendant of the ancient Nine-Tailed Spirit Fox. You might ask her how many tails she has now," Luna the Sword Spirit sent him a voice transmission.

"A Nine-Tailed Spirit Fox?" Evan Chu couldn't help but think his luck was insane—every woman he met was a knockout, every beast was a big deal, and he stumbled into crazy good fortune again and again. With luck this ridiculous, he half-worried he'd be cursed with disaster down the road.

Steadying himself, Evan Chu said, "You really are impressive, knowing so much. But tell me, how many tails have you grown now?"

Goldwing was baffled by Evan Chu's question. The Violet Thunder Fox clearly had only one tail, so why ask about several? Goldwing stared at Evan Chu in confusion.

This time it was the Violet Thunder Fox's turn to be shocked. How could Evan Chu know she didn't only have one tail? Was it possible he'd figured out she was a Nine-Tailed Spirit Fox descendant?

"Why do you ask that? Do you know something?" the Violet Thunder Fox immediately questioned. This youth was just too mysterious—he carried Divine Dragon blood, was possessed by the Bloodshadow Berserker Lion, and was terrifyingly powerful. If he could take her out of the Monster Beast Forest, she definitely needed to stick close to him—maybe he'd help her reach the nine-tailed realm.

"Answer my question—you don't have a choice!" Evan Chu demanded forcefully.

The Violet Thunder Fox's smile stiffened. "If I tell you, will you really take me out of here?"

Evan Chu nodded. "I'm waiting for your answer. And why must it be me who takes you out? I'm different from others, sure, but once the portal opens, you could leave regardless."

The Violet Thunder Fox hesitated for a moment, then said slowly, "Right now, I already..."
