Sky-Piercing Tower Exposed

Evan looked at the two and asked, "Do you know who I am?"

Elder Master Yang replied suspiciously, "No, we don't."

After speaking, Evan shifted back to his original appearance. When Elder Master Yang and his wife saw this, their faces showed shock, and Elder Master Yang exclaimed, "You?"

"You brought this on yourselves. Thanks for reminding me I could do things this way." Evan laughed.

"Damn it, let us go!" Elder Master Yang said angrily.

"I will, but not yet. For now, just be quiet." Evan tossed both of them into a treasure, then entered the treasure himself and stood before the ice sculpture, smiling. "So, you have nothing you want to tell me?"

"Kid, I accept falling into your hands. But don't get cocky—I'm just a small pawn. There are far stronger people behind me. Let's see how you handle that!" the man snorted coldly.

Evan was puzzled by this. "I haven't offended you people. Why do you keep coming after me?"

"Who says you haven't? You've ruined plenty of our plans. No matter what you do to me today, I won't reveal their whereabouts," said the black smoke.

Evan chuckled. "Then let's hear it."

"I'll never tell you. Keep dreaming," the man snorted.

Seeing how stubborn he was, Evan sighed, "Then I'll just have to torture you for a bit."

With that, Evan infused ice-fire into the ice sculpture. The man inside screamed in agony, and the black smoke exclaimed, "What is this? Why is it so cold?"

"This is made just for you," Evan said with a smile.

The black smoke snorted, "Don't think torturing me will make me talk. You're dreaming. I'd rather die than give in."

"Is that so? Then keep going," Evan said, and continued releasing ice-fire. Under this endless assault, the man's aura grew weaker and weaker, until he was barely alive, yet he still stubbornly said, "I won't talk."

"I'm really curious what kind of group you belong to, to produce someone like you," Evan laughed.

"We're all cursed. Anyone who tries to reveal anything will be obliterated, you know? I'd rather let you torture me—at worst, I'll die. Anyway, our souls still exist," the man snorted.

Evan asked curiously, "You're really certain I can't destroy your soul?"

The man burst out laughing, "Go ahead, try. My soul isn't here—this is just a body."

Hearing this, Evan sensed something was wrong and frowned. "Your soul isn't here?"

"That's right. I'll tell you—everything happening now, I've already reported to the organization," the man said with a cold smile.

"Is that so? Then watch me," Evan snorted. The man stared back fearlessly, but Evan entered his inner-heart world, causing the man to fall into his own mind.

Evan searched through all his records and finally pieced together some clues. He frowned and said, "What kind of organization is this? It's so huge, and even his superior is just one among many. To find the mastermind, I'd have to trace through layer after layer."

Feeling things were getting more complicated, Evan realized he was up against a massive, tightly organized enemy and knew he had to find them.

When the man came to, he was shocked. "You—"

"Your organization is called the World-End Society. You people are gutsy, thinking you can end the world. The Chaos World is so vast—even if you have millions, you can't destroy it," Evan snorted.

"Kid, you only know the surface. There's much deeper you can't even imagine," the man sneered.

Evan smiled. "True, I only know the surface. But I believe I'll find the mastermind in the end."

"Oh? Is that so? Then take your time searching," the man snorted. Evan said, "You can rest for now."

Afterward, Evan withdrew from his treasure, muttering to himself, "Damn it, what kind of organization is this? It's so bizarre."

At this moment, Evan was alone on a deserted planet, thinking about all this. He felt an unprecedented pressure.

Elsewhere, another mass of black smoke frowned. "Damn it, he actually got captured."

Someone beside him asked, "Senior Shi, what's wrong?"

"He was caught," Senior Shi replied. The other person exclaimed, "No way, he got caught like that?"

"Yeah, I don't know how he got caught. I need to keep communicating with his soul," Senior Shi said, then turned and left. When he reappeared, he was already in a cave, where a soul was hidden.

This soul was the one that had been captured. Right now, it was motionless. Though his body and soul were separated, he was still restricted—if his soul traveled too far, he'd grow weak and eventually dissipate.

"Senior Shi, you finally made it," the man said excitedly when he saw someone arrive.

"Chu Ming, what's going on? Where are you now? I'll send someone to rescue you," Senior Shi said.

Chu Ming shook his head. "Senior Shi, it's useless. I'm locked inside a treasure, and that treasure—if I told you what it was, you'd be shocked."

"What treasure?" Senior Shi asked, frowning.

"The Sky-Piercing Tower. I saw those characters carved on a giant stone stele. If I'm right, I'm inside the Sky-Piercing Tower now," Chu Ming said.

"What? The Sky-Piercing Tower, a top-tier Heavenly Dao treasure?" Senior Shi cried out in shock.

"Yes, that's right," Chu Ming replied.

Senior Shi muttered, "The higher-ups never told me he had such a treasure. Looks like they don't know either. I need to figure out how to seize it—but to do that, I have to deal with him first. What about his strength?"

"He's powerful. Though he's an Immortal Lord, he's definitely not weaker than someone with five hundred Heavenly Dao intent," Chu Ming sighed.

"Understood. I'll send someone right away," Senior Shi said.

"Sorry, he seems to know I'm in contact with you," Chu Ming said gloomily. Senior Shi heard this and asked suspiciously, "What's going on?"

Chu Ming explained the special technique Evan used on him. After Senior Shi heard it, he was shocked. "That kid actually has such a skill."
