Sean Shaw’s Parentage
"By the way! Why did that bolt of lightning come down just now?" Ryan Lu asked again.
Aside from Sean Shaw, who sensed the Tenfold Oblivion Arrow’s call, no one knew why that lightning struck.
Lucia Lu picked up the conversation: "Alright, Luna, we've had our fun these past few days. Time to head back! The day after tomorrow, we enter the camp!"
At those words, Sean Shaw’s aura visibly sank.
Luna Lian glanced at Sean, nodded a bit wistfully.
On the way back, Luna Lian saw her sister standing at the rail of the spirit ship, gazing into the distance. She walked over, linked arms with her, and asked, "Sis, are you mad?"
"Mad about what?"
"About the Fifth Highness!"
Lucia Lu shook her head. "No, why would I be mad?"
"You hardly said a word."
"Did you hear what that princess said about him earlier? The reason he keeps his identity hidden... maybe it's because he doesn't want people whispering behind his back," Lucia Lu said. "So let's not bring it up again, no need to embarrass him."
Luna Lian hugged her sister's arm and said, "Sis, you're always so thoughtful."
Lucia Lu grinned, "When it comes to you, Luna, I'm the most considerate! I came here just for you, so work hard, okay?"
Luna pursed her lips, sneaked a glance at Adrian Drake, and said worriedly, "He's the Young Lord... what if he secretly looks down on me because of my background...?"
"You're a daughter of the Lu family!" Lucia grabbed her hand. "If anyone dares to say otherwise, I'll knock his teeth out!"
"Sis!" Luna suddenly got anxious. "We have to follow military discipline once we're in camp! No fighting or brawling, okay? Didn't you hear the Divine Lord? Break the rules and you'll get punished!"
"Do I really look like someone who loves to fight?" Lucia asked, feigning innocence.
Luna: "You do."

Back at the Guardian Drake Lord's Manor, Adrian Drake began telling them about Sean Shaw's true background.
He's the son of His Majesty the Celestial Emperor and a mysterious woman whose origins nobody knows.
That woman lived in the Celestial Palace for over a hundred years. Not long after Sean gained human form, she left, and no one's seen her since.
After she left, Sean was handed over to the Celestial Empress to be raised.
"My Divine Father and Divine Mother once said the Empress absolutely despised his mother—and hated him too," Adrian Drake explained. "There was a time he nearly died, but His Majesty the Celestial Emperor rescued him and kept him in his private domain ever since."
"So he wasn't hiding away just to cultivate—His Majesty waited until he was grown and could protect himself before letting him out, right?" Luna Lian asked.
Adrian Drake nodded. "Exactly. Though honestly, he does prefer peace and quiet. He's not into crowds."
"So, who was his mother?" Luna Lian asked, curious.
Adrian Drake shook his head. "No idea. Not even my Divine Father and Divine Mother know. They only know she was breathtakingly beautiful—you can tell just by looking at the Fifth Highness. After she left, His Majesty was heartbroken for a hundred years."

The day before the Divine Commanders’ Training Camp opened, all the teams arrived.
Everyone was packed into the camp—getting assigned beds, picking up military gear, and handed a thick rulebook. You name it.
The place was a total madhouse.
The gods of the Lumina Realm showed up too.
More than twenty of them, including several royal kids from the Qilin royal family's Sang branch, and the heirs of the big Lumina clans.
Even their cousin Jumin Jing was here this time.
