Debts Must Be Repaid

Evan Lin let Will Han help Hank Chu onto a nearby sofa.

Manager Zhang and his crew were still eyeing Evan Lin like wolves.

Brother Cannon wasn't in a rush either; his gaze remained fixed on Evan Lin.

"You said you'd take care of it? Kid, did you bring the money?"

Brother Cannon watched Evan Lin with amusement, lighting a cigarette and holding it between his fingers.

As long as Hank Chu hadn't left this place, he wasn't in a hurry.

Once Will Han and Hank Chu were settled,

Evan Lin finally walked slowly toward the booth where Brother Cannon and his men were seated.

"You guys, get up and roll."

Evan Lin glanced indifferently at the men sitting directly across from Brother Cannon.

His tone was calm and sudden, catching the men holding beer bottles and watching the show completely off guard.

"Are you talking to us?"

One of the men looked unfriendly, his voice tinged with surprise.

"Are you out of your mind?" another man said coldly, his gaze at Evan Lin full of menace.

They all worked for Brother Cannon. They'd just been sitting here watching the drama, never expecting this kid to tell them to give up their seats and get lost in front of everyone.

If word got out, they'd be finished in this scene.

"You heard me right."

Evan Lin shook his head.

Across from him, Brother Cannon smiled but said nothing for now.

He was genuinely curious—just how gutsy and capable was this kid who dared to come alone and play hero?

At least for now, this kid had more guts than Brother Cannon expected.

Anyone else, in front of so many people, wouldn't even dare to tell them to get lost—most would lower their voice just to speak.

"You've got a death wish!"

The men's faces darkened. They shot up, yelling in anger.

This was the last straw—intolerable.

The kid looked barely old enough to be an adult!

But just as they stood up—

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Evan Lin unleashed three kicks in a row.

The entire row of five men sitting across from Brother Cannon were sent flying.

Evan Lin moved cleanly and decisively, not wasting a single motion.

Once the men had been sent flying, Evan Lin sat down slowly and unhurriedly.

Brother Cannon's smile faded a bit as he squinted, finally sizing Evan Lin up seriously.

The other men beside Brother Cannon immediately changed their expressions, rising and glaring at Evan Lin like wolves.

"Damn."

Will Han sat with Hank Chu on a nearby sofa, watching the scene and feeling nervous for Evan Lin.

Hank Chu, still not fully recovered, tried to get up and go sit beside Evan Lin.

Luckily, Will Han reacted quickly and pulled him back.

"You laid hands on my men?"

Brother Cannon sat there, eyes narrowed, staring at Evan Lin. After a long silence, he finally spoke.

This time, his tone had clearly changed, with a barely suppressed anger.

"Just dealt with a few clueless mutts, that's nothing. Let's talk about what we're really here for."

Evan Lin leaned back on the sofa, looking straight at Brother Cannon.

His attitude made the men beside Brother Cannon change expressions again, ready to move forward, but Brother Cannon held them back with a hand.

"Sit down, all of you."

At Brother Cannon's words, the men shot Evan Lin another fierce glare before sitting down one after another.

"Interesting. You're the first to dare lay hands on my people, and then sit here acting like nothing happened."

Brother Cannon held his wine glass and took another drag on his cigarette. "Since you want to talk business, let's talk business."

"Your friend owes me money—one hundred thousand. How do you want to settle this?"

Brother Cannon got straight to the point.
