Fist Against Fist

Elder Shaw cursed inwardly: "Why did he step out?"

Faye Gale watched Evan Yang's actions with curiosity. The Old Beggar glanced at Evan, recognized him as a stranger, and warned, "You should leave. Be careful—they might target you."

Elder Cole glared at the people who'd been beaten and roared, "This is the Human World, not your Fiend Realm—so it's none of your business!"

"You're not leaving?" Evan Yang sighed.

"I want to watch pill refining," the Old Beggar said with a smile.

Evan Yang couldn't understand why the Old Beggar was so determined to watch the pill refining between the Human World and Fiend Realm.

"Go on," said the Old Beggar. He didn't want Evan Yang to get dragged in for no reason. As for why he insisted on watching the pill-refining duel, it was mainly to figure out Alchemy Saint Hand's methods. He'd lost to him before, and now that there was a rare chance to see him in action, he was determined to stay, no matter what.

He wanted to watch the pill duel between the Human World and Fiend Realm, hoping to understand Alchemy Saint Hand's path—since he'd once lost to his master, and now, with this rare opportunity, he'd stubbornly stay here even if it meant risking everything.

"Want to leave? Not a chance!" Elder Cole snorted coldly and reached out to grab Evan Yang.

"Go." The Old Beggar tossed Evan Yang out with a powerful force. Evan tried to resist, but couldn't. He was thrown right in front of Faye Gale and the others.

"You—take action!" Elder Cole was furious when he saw Evan Yang escape his grasp.

"Back then, I only said I wouldn't fight people from Alchemy Sacred Mountain. I never said I couldn't take action," the Old Beggar said with a smile.

"Fine, let's see how tough you talk," Elder Cole snorted, then ordered his men to keep beating the Old Beggar.

Elder Cole strode toward Evan Yang, pointed at him and barked, "Come out here!"

Evan Yang was going to step out to help the Old Beggar no matter what, but Faye Gale grabbed his hand and went forward herself.

"I'm not calling you, I'm calling him!" Elder Cole snorted coldly.

"He's with me. Calling him is the same as calling me," Faye Gale replied, expression unchanged.

Elder Shaw couldn't take it anymore. Worried that Faye Gale would cause trouble, he quickly stepped forward and said, "It's a misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding."

Elder Cole snorted, "A misunderstanding? Is this what you call a misunderstanding? You people from the Fiend Realm—do you look down on us in the Human World?"

His words instantly drew many surprised looks, especially from those loyal to Alchemy Sacred Mountain.

"We don't look down on the Human World. But the way you treat the former King of Alchemy is just inhumane," Faye Gale said, clearly disgusted by how they abused the Old Beggar.

"This is a Human World matter—it has nothing to do with you people from the Fiend Realm. He interfered just now, so he must be punished. Make him step forward," Elder Cole snorted.

"You're an elder of Alchemy Sacred Mountain, and you want to go after one of our alchemists? That's just wrong." Faye Gale knew Elder Cole was formidable. She herself wasn't worried, but if Evan Yang had to face him, it would be tough. So she absolutely wouldn't let Elder Cole bully Evan.

"An alchemist? Him? Ridiculous," Elder Cole scoffed.

"Don't insult people from the Fiend Realm, or I won't be polite," Faye Gale said coldly.

Elder Cole had seen Faye Gale's strength—word of Second Young Master Fenn's humiliation had already reached him. He wouldn't fight her himself, but Evan Yang injuring several people had left him no face.

So he sneered, "Since you say he's an alchemist and I'm an elder, fine. I'll find someone ordinary. If he can beat our man, then it's over. If not, we'll hand him over to the Human World."

"How will the match work?" Faye Gale asked curiously.

"Simple. Someone with equal strength—also at Three-Bloom Convergence Realm Great Perfection," Elder Cole said with a smile.

Faye Gale knew Evan Yang's explosive power. If the opponent was also at Three-Bloom Convergence, it was laughable. After thinking for a moment, she replied, "Fine. If he wins, you can't pursue this any further."

"No problem," Elder Cole said with a smirk.
