Rescuing the Snowfield Rabbit

Black Mountain Imp frowned and said, "Go on, bring Happy to me."

"Uh..." Harris hesitated.

"You two go, you stay. If you don't bring Happy here, or if you bring any other demons who shouldn't come, he won't survive." Black Mountain Imp sensed something was off, so he kept Harris behind and sent the other two demons to fetch Happy.

Harris was shocked. "That's not okay, let me go instead."

"It's not up to you." Black Mountain Imp knew the other two demons listened to Harris, so he deliberately kept Harris behind.

Seeing Black Mountain Imp was so determined, Harris could only give in. After instructing the other two demons, he reluctantly let them leave.

The two demons wanted to tell Harlan, but thinking of Harris's safety, they gritted their teeth and went to lure Happy instead.

"You'd better pray they don't pull anything, or you know what the consequences will be." Black Mountain Imp snorted coldly. He knew he wasn't strong enough to storm a whole tribe, so this was the only way—capturing some weaker ones was still doable.

At this moment, Harris also prayed those two would consider his sake and not alarm anyone else—just bring Happy over.

The two demons went to where Happy was, but he wasn't there, so they searched around and finally found him outside Harlan's door.

As for Happy, he was just coming out from there.

The two looked at each other and found Happy.

Happy frowned. "What are you up to this time?"

"Uh, Happy, Harris needs you for something," one of them said.

When Happy heard it was Harris again, he snorted, "Not going. Tell him I'm never getting tangled up with him again."

The other one was startled, "No, no, you must go!"

"Yeah, you have to go. If you don't, he'll be in danger." One of them finally couldn't help but speak up.

"Why should I? Enough, stop bothering me. If you keep this up, I'll tell my uncle." Happy said.

That remark made the two very frustrated, but they had no choice—they had to take Happy right away.

So one of them couldn't help but explain, "Here's the thing: Harris was caught by a demon, and that demon needs to see you. But you can't tell anyone else, or he'll kill Harris."

Soft-hearted Happy was startled. "What? What's going on?"

Seeing Happy react, the two continued explaining what happened. When Happy heard the details, he frowned, "He's looking for Evan Yang?" "Yeah, that's about it," one of them replied.

Happy understood, thought for a moment, and said, "Let me take my uncle with me."

"No, that's too dangerous," one of them said.

"Do you think we're strong enough to resist him?" Happy asked. "Uh..." The two fell silent. At this point, they had no choice but to say, "Fine."

So the two demons went with Happy to find Harlan. Harlan was just deciding how to deal with the red-marked demon when he saw the bear demons outside and frowned, "What's wrong with you all?"

Happy explained Harris's situation to him. After hearing it, Harlan frowned, "Damn it, which demon lord dares to be so arrogant?"

"Chief, you have to save Harris!" said one of Harris's close friends.

Harlan frowned, "Got it. We can't rush this. If that guy finds out I know, he'll definitely hurt Harris."

They knew Harris's situation, so they had to wait anxiously. Harlan thought for a moment and said, "Here's what we'll do: you two go back and take Happy with you. I'll follow in secret."

"Is this really going to work? What if that guy finds out?" Happy frowned.

"I'll handle it. You go ahead," Harlan said.

The three demons nodded and left the cave. Harlan followed behind. After a while, in a spot where no demons passed by, he transformed into a white bear, blending in so he looked no different from an ordinary white bear. He even gathered some nearby bears and mingled with them, pretending to forage in the snow as usual.

Happy and the other two had no idea what Harlan was planning. They headed to where Harris was.

After a while, winding through some forest, they arrived at the spot.

Harris was overjoyed to see Happy actually show up, and no one else. As for Black Mountain Imp, seeing only Happy arrive, he smiled, "So you're Happy."

"Let him go," Happy said.

"Don't worry, I'm only interested in you. Now, tell me—where did Evan Yang go?" Black Mountain Imp said to Happy.

"I don't know," Happy replied.

"You don't know? Really?" Black Mountain Imp asked.
