Evan Lin's voice was loud enough that plenty of people nearby heard him, and their expressions froze again.
"You say I'm bullying people with my status?"
Sun Bin raised an eyebrow, glanced at the other Mechatronics guys beside him, then looked back at Evan Lin and grinned, "Yeah, I'm bullying you with my status. So what are you gonna do about it?"
"You want me to kneel and apologize? Bro, are you out of your mind?"
As Ben Sun spoke, he reached out and shoved Will Han aside.
"Sun Bin, what are you doing!"
Will Han stumbled and fell, then scrambled to his feet.
He tried to step in, but two Mechatronics guys blocked his way completely, so he couldn't get closer.
Everyone nearby was watching this unfold.
Sun Bin was clearly bigger and more muscular than Evan Lin. He stepped forward, got right in Evan's face, and glared fiercely: "Last chance. Apologize to me, admit you lost, and kneel. Do that, and we'll let this go."
"Or else..."
Sun Bin let out a cold laugh.
He hadn't even finished his sentence when suddenly, the crowd gasped in surprise.
Everyone saw it: just a second ago, Sun Bin was standing there, head slightly lowered, talking to the boy. The next second, for some reason, he dropped to one knee on the ground.
He'd been looking down on the boy, but now, with his body lowered, he instinctively looked up—staring at the boy from below, in a totally submissive pose, pinned by a Maiden Spirit.
"Ben Sun's kneeling?"
"Why did he suddenly kneel?"
People all around were stunned, whispering nonstop.
"Benny, what are you doing? Get up!" One of the Mechatronics guys beside Benny snapped out of it and yelled at him.
He was totally confused; just a moment ago Benny was talking tough, and now he was kneeling out of nowhere.
His words were vicious and arrogant, but his body was pretty honest about admitting defeat.
A few Mechatronics guys got anxious, whispering and nudging Sun Bin with their feet, hoping he'd hurry up and stand.
This kneeling didn't just embarrass Sun Bin—it was a slap in the face to the entire Mechatronics School.
"I... I don't know either."
Sun Bin panicked inside. He had no clue what was going on, just felt someone kick his right leg, and then he was kneeling.
"Is this your doing?!"
Sun Bin's face darkened. He pushed off with his left leg, ready to stand up.
But before he could move...
That feeling of being kicked hit him again.
This time, both of Sun Bin's knees hit the ground. He sat up straight, glaring fiercely at Evan Lin standing in front of him.
His face was full of stubborn defiance, like he was ready to teach someone a lesson, but his posture looked just like a loyal dog kneeling for its master.
The scene shocked plenty of people nearby.
"Wow, Sun Bin actually kneeled! Who is this guy? Since when did Hank Chu have such a badass friend?" A girl covered her mouth and exclaimed.
"Hank Chu's family isn't rich, right? His parents are just laborers, so he shouldn't know anyone this powerful." Another girl whispered, asking the others nearby.
But nobody could answer her.
Everyone kept watching.
Will Han stared, totally stunned by Ben Sun's actions.
"If you really think you're right, then stand up."
Evan Lin looked at Sun Bin and said calmly.
"Benny, get up!"
"Come on, dude, why are you still kneeling? Lost your mind or something?"
Two Mechatronics guys beside him couldn't hold back and yelled out.
"It's not like I want to!"
Cold sweat covered Sun Bin's forehead.
He realized his legs were totally numb—he couldn't stand up even if he wanted to.
"Help me up!"
He shouted, and a few guys reached out, grabbing him and trying to pull him up, but even with all their strength, they couldn't budge him.
"Benny, since when did you get as heavy as a rock!"
They stood there, stunned, their minds completely blank for a moment.
"You're behind this!"
Sun Bin looked at Evan Lin, his expression shifting wildly—his gaze was a mix of shock and anger.
"How is this me messing with you?"
Evan Lin shook his head. "It's the ghost messing with you, actually."
"Just stay kneeling here, keep your back straight. After ten hours, you'll be able to stand up."
Evan Lin left these words not just for Ben Sun, but as instructions for the Maiden Spirit currently pinning Ben Sun's legs.
He turned and walked over to Will Han.
"Take me to Hank Chu."
Evan Lin ignored Will Han's dumbfounded look, finished speaking, and dragged him toward the edge of the crowd.
"You can't leave!"
The big, muscular Mechatronics guy snapped out of it, strode forward, and glared furiously at Evan Lin: "I don't care what trick you used, but if you don't let Sun Bin stand up right now, you're not leaving this place!"
This guy was probably the tallest and most muscular in the Mechatronics School—built like a bull.
When he roared, everyone around was startled.
But as soon as he finished yelling...
Evan Lin kicked him right in the stomach.
"You haven't even finished growing a brain and you want to act tough for someone else? Trying to play big shot in front of me?"
Evan Lin said coldly.
Everyone saw the big guy get kicked, clutch his stomach, and roll on the ground—instantly losing all fighting power.
"Holy crap, that's savage..."
"Is he trained in martial arts?"
The girls nearby completely changed their view of Evan Lin—now they all wanted to go up and ask for his contact info.
Evan Lin ignored them, glanced at Will Han, and called out again.
Will Han finally snapped out of it. He looked at Ben Sun still kneeling, then at the big guy on the ground, feeling like he was dreaming.
When he saw Evan Lin already walking away, he hurried to catch up.
"Who the heck is this guy? He looks unfamiliar, never seen him before, and he's so ruthless—totally disrespecting our Mechatronics School!"
A guy muttered, his face sour.
The Mechatronics boys had never been treated like this before.
"Doesn't matter who he is, just remember he's Hank Chu's friend!"
Ben Sun, still kneeling, clenched his fists and glared hatefully at Evan Lin's retreating back. Everyone's eyes burned into him, and Benny was about ready to explode! His reputation was totally trashed!
