Farewell, Serena Frost

1/19/2026

Evan Chu withdrew the Frostbane Sword, glanced at Logan Vaughn’s corpse, and laughed, “That’s what happens when you try to compete with me over a woman. To be honest, I really ought to thank you this time—if not for you, I might never have awakened the power of my bloodline, and I wouldn’t be as strong as I am now.

Now I’ve got cultivation methods and a mountain of Immortal Stones—talk about a windfall! Go ahead, rest in peace. I’ll take good care of Luna for you. Maybe next time, you’ll open your eyes and figure out who you can and cannot mess with!

After Evan finished speaking, a ball of flame appeared in his hand—he was about to burn Logan Vaughn’s corpse. But just as the fire touched the body, Logan’s Immortal Infant shot out and vanished in a blink.

Evan’s heart jolted. The Immortal Infant wasn’t some ordinary soul—it was a higher-level existence, way above a soul body. He had to kill it. He instantly spread out his divine sense and quickly located the Immortal Infant—it was already ten thousand miles away.

“Pretty fast, huh? But running from me is impossible now. You’re still too green to beat me in speed.” Evan grinned, then his figure flickered—he teleported, and in just a few breaths, appeared right in front of the Immortal Infant.

“Trying to run, brat? Today I’ll show you exactly what happens to those who dare flee from me!” Evan laughed, instantly wreathed in a blazing mantle of flames. Now that his strength had soared, his Fireshift was on a whole new level—even if it was still the same realm, the difference was like heaven and earth!

“Don’t go too far! If you destroy my Immortal Infant, my father will sense it. When that happens, the whole Dragon Clan will be wiped out. If I die, my soul tablet shatters, and my father will know exactly what happened.” Logan Vaughn’s Immortal Infant said in a low voice.

Evan grinned, “Well, since that’s the case, I won’t kill you—but I’ll have to lock you up for good! Hahaha!” With that, he unleashed the Star-Siphon Method and snatched Logan Vaughn’s Immortal Infant in one swift motion.

Now that Evan had reached Earth Immortal strength, he could fully enter the Timewheel Bracelet. Inside, he found the whole world filled with Immortal Essence. It didn’t take long to spot his Nascent Soul meditating by a pool, while Serena Frost was in a garden, madly absorbing Immortal Essence as she cultivated.

But Evan’s arrival caught Serena Frost off guard—she was wearing almost nothing, her clothes so scant they were practically nonexistent. After entering the Timewheel Bracelet’s space, she’d made a deal with Evan’s Nascent Soul: each had their own territory, and neither would disturb the other.

“What are you doing in here?” Serena Frost snapped, her face full of anger. Even as a soul-body, she still had her dignity—a Ninth-Heaven Arch-Immortal wasn’t someone just anyone could touch, especially someone as naturally cold as her.

“I’ve got business here, obviously. I want to borrow your Tri-Mystic Tower—I’m planning to lock this guy’s Immortal Infant inside. That’s doable, right?” Evan said, pointing to the Immortal Infant he held in his hand.

But seeing Serena Frost like this, Evan was stunned too. He hadn’t expected that after just a short time in the Timewheel Bracelet, her body had become almost semi-corporeal—especially certain parts, which were now tantalizingly visible.

Serena Frost was clearly shocked when she saw the Immortal Infant in Evan’s hand. She involuntarily stepped back, exclaiming, “This—is this Lord Logan? How did he end up like this? What happened? Who hurt him?”

Evan quickly forced his eyes away from Serena’s chest and said, “He tried to take Luna—like hell I’d let that happen! So I destroyed his physical body. Luna’s already restored her own body. If you want yours back, I can help you too—anytime.”

Serena was even more shocked. “You killed Lord Logan? That’s impossible! Even if he came to this world, his strength should still be at the Immortal Realm—and you haven’t ascended yet! How could you possibly beat him?”

Her words were clearly a bit dismissive, but Evan didn’t mind—instead, he laughed, “Immortal Realm strength is tough, sure, but I’m no pushover. I’ve got something called Immortal-Daze Powder that’s perfect against Immortals—colorless, tasteless, impossible to guard against. That’s how I got him and wrecked his body.”

“Serena Frost, help me! Don’t listen to his nonsense—he’s a Primordial Dragon Bloodline Golden Dragon, fully awakened! He’s already reached Earth Immortal strength, and once my power dropped to the Immortal Realm, I was no match for him. If you save me, my father will restore your body and kill Sima Damon for you!” Logan Vaughn’s Immortal Infant pleaded, clutching at her like a drowning man grabbing a lifeline.

Serena Frost was taken aback. “Is that true? You’ve fully awakened your bloodline? Luna’s really restored her body?”

Evan nodded, straight and honest, “Absolutely. I’m Earth Immortal now, and Luna’s physical body is fully restored. If you want, I can rebuild yours anytime—just say the word.”

“Of course! Now that I’m Earth Immortal, nobody on Dragonreach Continent can touch me. If you ever want me to restore your body, just ask!” Evan said with a bold laugh.

Serena Frost’s cheeks flushed a deep red. Restoring her body would mean standing completely naked before Evan—her pure, icy dignity exposed! How could she let him see her like that? He was Luna’s man; she could never steal Luna’s man. She refused, pride and purity unyielding.

“No need for you to worry about me. The Immortal Essence in the Timewheel Bracelet is growing stronger by the day. Your Black Lotus has already started sprouting, and soon it’ll gather enough Immortal Essence. Once I condense my Immortal Infant, I’ll naturally restore my body myself,” Serena Frost said, her tone icy yet resolute.

Seeing the blush on Serena Frost’s face, Evan already knew what she was worried about, but he didn’t press the issue. He already had enough women—and though Serena’s beauty rivaled Luna’s, her icy demeanor was just too much to handle.

“Alright, I won’t push it. Just seal this guy in the Tri-Mystic Tower—as long as he’s alive, I’m safe. Don’t let his sweet talk fool you, or we’ll be hunted everywhere,” Evan warned seriously.

“I know, don’t worry. Inside my Tri-Mystic Tower, he won’t be able to escape.” Serena Frost said. Instantly, Evan felt his hand empty—Logan Vaughn’s Immortal Infant had vanished…
