“You arrogant brat, dreaming of getting a Sunstone? In your dreams! The Golden Crow clan isn't something you can just barge into. Today, you die here!” the Golden Crow King declared.
Evan gave the Golden Crow King a sidelong glance and chuckled, “Is that all you Golden Crow clan folks know how to say? I’ve heard it so many times I’m sick of it. Can’t you come up with something new?”
The Golden Crow King was both furious and humiliated. “Everyone, unleash your lifebound Sunfire and attack this brat! Make sure he dies in our Sunfire!”
At the Golden Crow King's command, every Golden Crow reverted to their true form. Their third leg began to glow with purple light—except for the Golden Crow Protector, who had already used his lifebound Sunfire once and could only stand aside.

Other Golden Crows attacked in their true form, flapping massive wings and firing flaming red feathers like arrows at Evan—similar to the Goldwing Vulture’s feather-arrows, but far more powerful.

"Very well! Since you’re so blind to reality, don’t blame me for being merciless!" Evan said coldly.
The Golden Crow King’s body flashed, transforming into an old man. "Everyone, fall back quickly! Today I’ll use the Sunstone’s power to show him the might of the Golden Crow clan."
The other Golden Crows flew away at his command. In the Golden Crow King’s hand appeared a fiery red stone—the Sunstone. Evan could clearly sense the overwhelming fire-attribute energy within it. There was only one word for it: strong!
