Lily Bai pouted and said, "You're overthinking it, Fifth Prince! I just wanted to hear what you two were talking about, that's all!"

Sean Shaw looked at her pouting lips, bent down and kissed her. Lily, both embarrassed and amused, pushed him away. "Hey, what are you doing? Can we talk properly?"

Sean replied properly, "We're really close to Redleaf Valley right now. How about we go over there for a while?"

"Redleaf Valley?" Lily asked. "Is that the place I went looking for you before?"

"Yeah."

"What are we going there for?"

"Just to... hang out for a bit." Sean's lips curled into an indescribable smile as he took her to Redleaf Valley.

The mountains were covered in crimson leaves, looking absolutely stunning under the bright blue sky.

Inside the mountain's barrier stood a wooden house. Sean came here to stay for a few days every month.

"The Demon Emperor's Palace is so huge, why do you need an extra residence here?" Lily asked curiously.

"It's just because this place is especially peaceful! I like coming here to cultivate in seclusion," Sean said. "And also... wasn't the place you lived in the Spirit Alliance a red-leaf mountain too?"

Lily laughed. "Wow!"

Sean led her into the house and asked, "What do you think of this place?"

Lily looked around. "It's so cozy, I like it! Especially that big bed—it just makes me want to sleep. I love it."

Sean pressed his lips together and smiled, saying nothing.

Seeing his expression, Lily lightly smacked him. "What are you thinking about!"

"I'm not thinking about anything!" Sean said very seriously.

Lily cleared her throat. "There's something I want to talk to you about."

"What's up?"

"I want to rescue my mother from the Dragon-Coiling Heavenly Gang Array. Can you help me?"

Sean: "You want to use the Tenfold Oblivion Arrow and the Void-Breaking Chain?"

Lily Bai nodded. "Can your Fish help me steal the Void-Breaking Chain?"

Sean looked troubled. "Well..."

Lily couldn't hide her disappointment. "So it's not possible?"

"If you let me... maybe it could work."

Lily chased him around the house, trying to hit him.

The Fish received its mission again: steal the Void-Breaking Chain.

The Fish's combat power was pretty limited, but thanks to its Otherworldly spatial jump ability, stealing things was its specialty.

Even if something was stored in someone else's Storage Pouch, it could snatch it up easily, like taking candy from a baby.

It reported that the Void-Breaking Chain was kept in the Celestial Empress's private vault.

And the Celestial Empress's vault was actually protected by a God-Sealing Grand Array.

The Fish could jump through the array by itself, but because of certain spatial laws, it couldn't carry people or objects across.

To get the Void-Breaking Chain, they'd have to break the array.

"The God-Sealing Grand Array is extremely hard to set up and costs a fortune. The Celestial Empress actually put one in her vault—was she specifically guarding against me?" Lily said.

"It's possible," Sean said. "They know that if those two items are combined, you could rescue your mother."

Lily felt a headache coming on. "If that's the case, that array is probably loaded with all sorts of deadly traps and mechanisms..."

Sean nodded, thought for a moment, and said, "I have an idea."

"What idea?" Lily looked at him.

Her beautiful big eyes sparkled, tempting him no matter the time or place.

Sean leaned close to her ear and whispered two words: "Leo Li."

"Huh?" Lily was confused and just about to ask, but her lips were sealed by his kiss.
