"Zane Zhuang, step aside. We have an urgent matter here."
I swallowed hard. The Zhuang Bo before me was different from the past, and Lady Meng had already flown ahead.
With a thunderous boom, Mr. Brown suddenly swung his fist, red and blue lights intertwining as he struck Lady Meng in an instant. Without thinking, I raised the Soulreaper Blade to shield her.
A rumbling sound echoed as two streams of energy split off. The red and blue currents, like falling meteors, let out sharp, piercing whistles as they scattered in all directions, exploding in midair.
"Don't attack just yet, Mr. Brown."
John Chou flew to our side. Lady Meng frowned, while Mr. Brown glared at us, his face full of rage.
"Why is Mr. Brown blocking our way?"
Basil Bertram muttered under his breath. John Chou looked at Mr. Brown with a half-smile, then spoke.
"Mr. Brown, can you tell us why you won't let us pass?"
Mr. Brown said nothing. His eyes, now pure white and burning with fury, stared at us.
"Stay close, Redhair. I think I can do this."
I gripped my Soul-Cleaver tightly, turning into a streak of white energy as I sped past Mr. Brown. He was already being pinned down by Shen Yanjun and John Chou.
With a crash, a pale blue shadow flashed before me. My eyes widened as the chill instantly froze my body. Six fists hammered toward me at once. I released the Soul-Cleaver, shielding myself with both arms. Beside me, Redhair was struck by a completely crimson Mr. Brown. Both of us plummeted downward at breakneck speed.
With another boom, red and blue light exploded, but Redhair and I landed steadily on the ground. Gasping for breath, I looked down at the orange ghost web beneath us, like a spider’s web, with Lady Meng seated in the center. Redhair got up, glaring angrily at the sky above, where two Mr. Browns—one red, one blue—were locked in battle with John Chou and Shen Yanjun, waves of immense power surging down.
"Looks like breaking through by force is going to be tough."
I muttered under my breath.
"Do you really think that's Mr. Brown?"
I glanced at Redhair, then shook my head.
"If it really was Mr. Brown, he wouldn’t be fighting so desperately to stop us. He’s John Chou’s most trusted aide. Don’t be fooled by their constant bickering—if John Chou gives an order, Mr. Brown will always follow through."
"Something else has mixed in?"
Puzzled, I watched the battle above. Redhair nodded.
"This is deadly. At a moment like this, the Divine Law must have noticed us by now. I bet it’s already prepared something."
"We need to find a way to snap Mr. Brown out of it. There’s probably only one person who can control him."
I knew full well how powerful Mr. Brown was—he’s far beyond anything I can handle right now.
"Who is it?"
Redhair asked. I nodded and replied.
"Only the Asura King. When I went to the Asura Realm before, I saw firsthand how powerful the Asura King is—even able to suppress that guy Tantan."
"That really is a headache."
"You two, move quickly and stay focused. Zhang Qingyuan, when you get up there, you have to find a way to draw the Divine Law’s attention and give Redhair a chance to use his Calamity powers. Once we solve the problem with the Asura Realm here, we’ll come to help you."
I grunted in reply, once again working with Redhair to fly upward. The other Ghost Sovereigns only dodged, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire of the three-way battle, so they didn’t join in. The place where we stood was spacious, but if everyone rushed in at once, it’d be too hard to maneuver and might even interfere with John Chou and Shen Yanjun’s fight. Redhair and I paused, waiting for an opening.
With a thunderous crash, John Chou raised the Sinblade to block a punch from the blue Mr. Brown, instantly dispersing the force. Meanwhile, Shen Yanjun, battling the red Mr. Brown, darted through the raging flames like a nimble serpent, using the Grid Sword to deftly redirect the fire and suppress the red Mr. Brown.
"Even with Shen Yanjun transferring ghost energy to John Chou, is it really okay? This fight is so intense."
I started to worry. Ji Yuner gripped her emerald green spear and spoke.
"If anything goes wrong, we’ll step in. For now, just keep an eye on the Asura Realm’s movements."

I turned my head. On the surface of the giant violet sphere, the gray currents flickered like nervous flames.
The battle in the sky was fierce. Shen Yanjun kept pressing the attack, his sword thrusting at the red Mr. Brown from all sorts of incredible angles.
With a boom, a burst of fire exploded. After a few sword strokes from Shen Yanjun, the flames shattered into fragments. By then, the red Mr. Brown had already reached the blue one. They merged again, their power surging, all six arms focusing their strikes on John Chou from a single direction.
"Sister Yunmei!"
Ji Yuner called out. Yunmei raised a hand, and suddenly Ji Yuner swapped places with John Chou. Black-green bones wrapped around Ji Yuner’s body.
With a mighty crash, the huge force shattered the black-green bone armor around Ji Yuner. Without hesitation, she thrust her emerald spear forward.
A beam of green light shot skyward, piercing a hole in Mr. Brown’s left shoulder. He lost his balance, and Shen Yanjun lunged in, stabbing his sword toward Mr. Brown’s brow while upside down.
With a metallic ring, a violet aura appeared at Mr. Brown’s brow, stopping Shen Yanjun’s Grid Sword. Shen Yanjun suddenly raised a hand, and a huge blood-red swastika appeared behind him. Ji Yuner quickly retreated toward us.
"Brother!"
John Chou called out. Redhair and I had already slipped past the center of the fight. I swung my Soul-Cleaver at the red-blue mass blocking our way. With a swish, a streak of white light cut through.
A piercing roar sounded behind me, but I didn’t look back. At that moment, Redhair grabbed my collar, pulling me back.
"Redhair, you—"
Before I could finish, the space around Redhair and me turned gray. Our movements—and even our thoughts—seemed to slow. Two gray fists struck at us.
Bang, bang—Redhair and I fell together. Eyes wide with terror, I saw a pair of red eyes appear above. As Mr. Brown passed overhead, I saw his chest explode, his body fading away until he vanished. When Redhair and I landed on Lady Meng’s ghost-web, I saw Mr. Brown reappear in the gray mist above.
"Stopping you with just Mr. Brown alone doesn’t seem possible."
John Chou exhaled and laughed, tilting his head back.
"Asura King, what did you do to my old steward?"
Immediately, the eyes in the gray mist filled with amusement, and a burst of laughter echoed out.
"Mr. Brown has belonged to the Asura Realm since long ago. Of course he’s loyal to the Asura Realm now."
John Chou snorted coldly.
"Since you’re here, why not reveal your true form?"
"John Chou, I’ve been watching you for years. Even back then, I was amazed by your talent. But today, I won’t let you pass so easily."
Redhair floated up, wiping blood from his mouth with a vicious glare. I looked at him apologetically—my impatience just now nearly got me hurt, if Redhair hadn’t pulled me back.
Redhair and I were trapped in the Asura Realm’s space. If our ghost souls were struck, it’d be all over.
"Hmph, John Chou, enough talk. Let’s go together—this guy can’t stop us."
John Chou shook his head.
"Wait. Since the Asura King has appeared, let’s hear it—what do you really want? If you want to preserve the Six Paths, sealing the Divine Law is the only way. You know that, right? Besides the Divine Law, the ghosts of the Hungry Ghost Realm and Animal Realm can’t enter the reincarnation channel anymore."
