Mr. Brown before us has indeed been fully controlled by the Asura King. His consciousness seems absent from his body now. Redmond and I are still waiting for our moment, but we can already feel the pressure above us growing stronger—the Divine Law is starting to unleash its power.
"We can't wait any longer, John Chou. Stop wasting words with that guy."
Redmond couldn't hold back any longer and muttered. At this moment, I noticed that the orange spider web woven by Lady Meng beneath us had risen a considerable distance.
"You’ve sealed the Divine Law—so what then? What’s your plan? Doing this will only accelerate the collapse of the Six Paths of Reincarnation."
The Asura King’s voice came down, heavy with oppressive force. It’s clear he doesn’t intend to let us pass through here.
"There’s no point saying any of that now, Asura King. You know exactly what you want, don’t you?"
John Chou spoke calmly. Just then, gray flames ignited on Mr. Brown in the sky. The red and blue glow on his body faded away, turning him completely gray-white. In an instant, I couldn’t feel anything at all.
"Careful, he’s slipped into the space itself."
Yvonne May whispered. I didn’t quite understand, but seeing the other Ghost Sovereigns’ faces, they all grew tense and serious.
"Let me go. I have to find a way to open a passage."
"No need, brother. Our sole purpose here is to seal the Divine Law. This is our only chance. Don't worry about Zhuang Bo—just get ready."
I nodded, waiting with Red Hair for the right moment. The air was filled with the sound of blades; Lord Shenyan had already swung several times at the Asura King, who dodged nimbly in the sky. Their battle seemed deadlocked.
The overwhelming force that the Asura King unleashed earlier had been completely neutralized by Lord Shenyan's instinct. Now, in the midst of those swirling blue currents, both fighters were evenly matched.
Ji Yun'er frowned, gripping her spear tightly.
"Who knows how long this fight will last? Things up there are starting to change. If we don't act soon, sealing the Divine Law might become impossible."
"Don't worry. The outcome will be clear soon. Just leave it to Lord Shenyan."
Bo Ziran placed a reassuring hand on Ji Yun'er's shoulder.
Thunder rumbled like a storm. The Asura King swung his six fists, relentlessly attacking Lord Shenyan, but Lord Shenyan's sword softened and deflected every blow, accurately parrying each punch.
Red Hair looked anxious, barely able to contain himself. I gripped the Soul-Slaying Sword tightly, feeling the Divine Law's power still coursing across my skin.
Suddenly, I glimpsed a flash of orange behind the Asura King. Granny Meng appeared out of nowhere, stabbing her cane straight into his spine. The Asura King howled in rage, and as he spun around, his six arms vanished. When Lord Shenyan severed the arms, one hand pressed down on the Asura King's head.
A cracking sound rang out. My eyes widened in shock as black chains suddenly shot out from Lord Shenyan's body, instantly binding the Asura King so tightly he couldn't move.
"You two, follow me."
Ji Yun'er shouted, and Red Hair and I immediately followed behind her. In an instant, we reached the red-and-blue shimmering barrier blocking our way. Ji Yun'er thrust her spear forward.
With a boom, Red Hair and I saw a path open before us, leading to a soft, white light on the other side.
"Hurry up! We'll deal with this guy and catch up. Qingyuan, find a way to stall the Divine Law!"
Ji Yun'er shouted. Red Hair and I passed smoothly through the red-and-blue light. I swallowed hard, eyes wide, as above us hung a massive, dazzling white sphere radiating gentle light. Red Hair grinned, his body sizzling. When I turned to look, his skin was starting to burn, while I felt nothing at all.
"Zhang Qingyuan, go! I need to make some preparations."
I nodded, raising the Soul-Slaying Sword and charging toward the Divine Law. White currents poured from my body as I stopped before it. At that instant, a powerful force slammed into me, nearly shattering my consciousness. My eyes flew open.

Images flickered through my mind like a carousel. My eyes slowly closed.
"Lust Ghost..."
I roared, regaining consciousness at the brink of oblivion. Gasping for breath, I stared at the Divine Law ahead, Red Hair crouched behind me, tracing lines in the air with one finger.
At that moment, the surface of the Divine Law split into bubble-like spheres. I saw a white bubble whiz past me, its speed terrifying.
A crackling sound erupted as black lightning appeared. I instantly moved to intercept the bubble, slashing at it with the Soul-Slaying Sword without hesitation.
With a deafening explosion, countless white bubbles rained down from above—pure energy, deadly to ghosts. My body was riddled with wounds; I had just tapped into the power of the Earth Soul.
"Zhang Qingyuan, hold the line! Don't let those things touch me!"
Crackling sounds filled the air as black lightning wrapped around my body.
"Instinct... End..."
With a swish, I waved my hand. The Soul-Slaying Sword vanished, and End appeared in my grip. Black lightning shot outward, instantly forming a massive web of electricity.
White bubbles collided with the lightning. Suddenly, my vision was filled with a vast, blinding white world. The explosions from the pure energy battered my body as I crouched, clutching End, streams of white energy wrapping around me.
After the barrage, I withdrew the black lightning. My body was riddled with holes, many parts already corroded.
Now, the white surface of the Divine Law began to ooze writhing white sludge, which fell and instantly transformed into humanoid figures wielding all sorts of white weapons.
I tossed aside End and drew the Soul-Slaying Sword. These were souls—pure souls, ready to enter the cycle of reincarnation.
"Stop them, Zhang Qingyuan!"
Red Hair shouted. When I turned, a black formation had appeared behind me—a circular array with jagged black patterns swirling at the center, forming a strange design.
I had no time to worry about it. Facing the growing number of souls, I charged forward. Dodging one attack, I sliced a soul in half with the Soul-Slaying Sword; it instantly turned into a white current and ascended back into the Divine Law.
With so many, blocking them all was nearly impossible. I gripped End in my left hand, spat out a mouthful of green blood. Using both Earth Soul and Heaven Soul at once was pushing me to the limit, but I had no choice.
With a rush, I swung End, sending a bolt of black lightning outward, instantly expanding its range. A wave of souls turned to dust, while I raised the Soul-Slaying Sword with my right hand, cutting down several more.
"Mortal, do you dare defy me?"
A booming voice echoed from above, accompanied by a tremendous force. I was struck, plummeting rapidly. Raising my sword, I managed to halt my fall, but the crushing pressure nearly suffocated me.
"Red Hair, are you done yet? I can't hold out much longer!"
I shouted, turning to see Red Hair still seated at the center of the massive black array, unmoving. Clearly, he needed more time. Bracing against the crushing force, I kept slashing at the descending souls with End, black lightning precisely destroying the souls unleashed by the Divine Law.
With a thunderous blast, the last soul released by the Divine Law exploded. I breathed a sigh of relief, but at that moment, the Divine Law before me changed violently—the gentle white glow became unbearably blinding.
