Sanctum Bracelet for Men

1/4/2026

Lily Bai gave the place a thorough look—first the bed, then the big writing desk, and finally she rummaged around the bed again.

She was hoping to find some kind of pass token or exit talisman.

She didn’t find anything anywhere else.

But under his pillow, she felt something wrapped up in a handkerchief.

When she opened it, it wasn’t a token at all—it was a bracelet.

Judging by the style and size, it was clearly a man’s bracelet.

Lily’s eyes narrowed in surprise.

The bracelet was forged from pure Spirit Silver, its surface densely inscribed with runes.

The runes themselves were ordinary enough—just the usual blessings, wards against evil, and luck boosters.

Talismanic wards like this were common enough.

But to have a talismanic ward that radiated such powerful rune force—this was a first for Lily.

She was considered a top-tier Rune Master herself.

Her master was said to be the pinnacle of all Rune Masters alive.

But even the two of them couldn’t inscribe a talisman with such overwhelming rune power.

Where did this come from?

Could there really be a Rune Master this strong hidden somewhere in the Primeval Demon Wilds?

She’d never heard of such a thing…

After all that searching and still coming up empty, Lily wrapped the bracelet back up, put it where she found it, and climbed out the window.

Outside was a garden, full of birdsong and flowers—truly gorgeous.

But Lily was in no mood to admire the scenery—she headed straight for the most secluded paths.

As she walked, the path beneath her feet suddenly vanished.

She found herself standing on a stone platform—below it lay a bottomless cliff.

The spot was high up; Lily turned to look back and saw a cluster of pitch-black palaces.

Every pavilion and tower was built from divine stone.

The huge training ground looked vast and sturdy.

Flowers, grass, and trees—everything was exquisitely arranged.

When she’d arrived, Azure Flame had used Swiftstride, so she hadn’t seen any of this.

Only now did she realize this whole palace complex was built atop a mountain!

It wasn’t as ornate as the Divine Realm’s palaces, but it had a stark, majestic beauty all its own.

She was standing on the rear peak of the mountain.

Below her was a sheer, bottomless black abyss.

Still, if she used a teleport talisman, she could probably get down.

She might not land directly at the foot of the mountain—maybe she’d drop midair, but her Warden-level body could take it.

She was a Warden—sure, the fall would hurt, but it wouldn’t kill her…

But she didn’t move.

As a Rune Master, she could sense fortune and danger.

That sixth sense had gotten her out of trouble more times than she could count.

Right now, her instincts were screaming at her.

Every time she looked down into the abyss, her heart raced with dread.

It felt like something truly terrifying was lurking down there.

The front side of the mountain was much flatter; she could just make out towns below, and the atmosphere felt much calmer.

But heading toward the front meant running into guards—not easy at all…

If only she had a flying spirit beast companion.

Then she could just fly away.

No need to agonize over where to go.

But she didn’t have one.

For some reason, from childhood to now, no spirit beast had ever wanted to follow her.

They all seemed afraid of her.

She had no idea what was so scary about her…

Just as she was hesitating, a piercing bird cry suddenly rang out from the depths of the cliff.

Judging by the sound, it had to be a Red-crested Golden Eagle.

Lily crawled to the edge of the stone platform and looked down, spotting a massive Red-crested Golden Eagle shrieking as it shot upward.

Red-crested Golden Eagles were among the fiercest spirit beasts around.

Any cultivator entering the forest dreaded running into one.

Because they liked to eat people.

Lily had once seen a giant Red-crested Golden Eagle pin a Lesser Immortal beneath its talons, then tear off half his body with a single peck and gulp it down—meat, bones, and all…

And this Red-crested Golden Eagle was even bigger than that one.
