Demon Sealing Platform

"Honestly, I don't know for sure. When I ascended to the God Realm back then, it was on this very platform. But you'd better not set foot on it—this place is seriously weird. There's a monstrous energy field up there that can lock you in, and it'll keep you trapped for at least half a month before it lets you go.

Most people can't even get close. Only Immortal Emperors can step onto the Skyflight Terrace, and once you're up there, there's no coming down. If you're about to face God Tribulation, you're even more stuck. The space above the terrace lets you move around, but if you try to leave, a terrifying suction force yanks you right back—like the whole place refuses to let you go. And honestly, the fact that it traps people like this... makes you wonder what it's really for.

The stone this Skyflight Terrace is made from is insanely tough. It's survived countless God Tribulations without a scratch. We call it Heaven-Outer Godstone—it's a super high-grade stone from the God Realm itself, practically indestructible. That alone makes you wonder just what kind of secret this platform is hiding.

So whoever built this Skyflight Terrace must've been a God-Realm super-expert, but nobody knows who it was." said the Emerald Immortal Empress, her tone full of awe.

Evan Chu stared hard at the Skyflight Terrace. He saw countless golden rune-script symbols flickering in the air above it, but he couldn't make sense of a single one—they were all ancient script, mysterious and frustratingly out of reach.

"Emerald, can you see those runes hovering over the Skyflight Terrace? Maybe those symbols are behind all the weirdness you described. Whoever built this must've been a total master of rune-script formations." Evan Chu said, curiosity burning in his voice.

"I can't see them at all, and I can't sense anything, either. I've come to the Skyflight Terrace plenty of times, and I've never heard a single person mention runes up there. If you can actually read those symbols, maybe you'll uncover the terrace's deepest secret." replied the Emerald Immortal Empress, sounding both amazed and a little envious.

Evan Chu couldn't help but feel helpless. "I'm totally clueless about runes—seriously, not a thing. I can see them, but they're just fancy decorations to me. No idea what any of them mean."

After a pause, the Emerald Immortal Empress said, "Just let me out and let me attach to you—then I'll be able to read those runes. The real question is, does Master dare let Emerald possess him?" She flashed a playful, challenging grin.

"Why wouldn't I dare? You couldn't hurt me even if you wanted to. My Immortal Infant and Heavenfire could blast your soul to bits in a heartbeat." Evan Chu laughed, full of hot-blooded confidence.

Evan Chu wasted no time—he released the Emerald Empress’s Remnant Soul from his storage ring. "Master, when I possess you, it's gonna sting—a sharp pain you'll just have to grit your teeth through. Once I've checked out those runes, I'll bail immediately. Staying inside your body too long could seriously mess me up."

Your Primordial Dragon blood is just too overpowering—it's devastating to me. Emerald's really pushing her luck this time!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the Emerald Immortal Empress’s phantom vanished, and a stabbing pain ripped through Evan Chu’s mind. Just like she warned, it faded after only a few breaths—but it was no joke.

"Master, keep your eyes on those runes—I'll sense them through you. Your dragon blood is so strong, I can only stay inside for half a stick of incense, so don't waste a moment." urged the Emerald Immortal Empress.

Evan Chu soared up, circling the rune barrier that only he could see, memorizing every pattern. In less than half a stick of incense, he'd committed them all to memory.

After landing, the Emerald Empress’s Remnant Soul slipped out of his body, her phantom even fainter than before. "Emerald, are you alright? You look weaker—did my dragon aura hurt you?" Evan Chu asked, concern flashing across his face.

"That's right. The Primordial Dragon's power is terrifying—your blood aura is so overwhelming that if I'd stayed any longer, I might've been wiped out completely.

I've figured out the meaning of those runes. They don't say who built this place, but they reveal the origin and real purpose of the Skyflight Terrace—actually, the Demon-Sealing Platform. We all misunderstood; this isn't an ascension site at all.

You can ascend to the God Realm from anywhere. This place is actually meant to suppress a Primordial Fiend. Underneath the Skyflight Terrace, a heaven-defying fiend is sealed—its cultivation was at least late-stage God Sovereign Realm.

What's suppressed here is only half of the Primordial Fiend's body. In ancient times, it was split into three—its lower body sealed in the lower world, upper body in the Immortal Realm, and its head in the God Realm. The fiend's power must have been unimaginable to need such seals.

The runes spell it out—this isn't really the Skyflight Terrace, it's the Demon-Sealing Platform. If you try to ascend to the God Realm here, your tribulation lightning gets way weaker, because the lightning's power is used to help suppress the fiend's corpse beneath." explained the Emerald Immortal Empress, her voice grave.

Evan Chu's heart surged with shock—he never imagined the fiend could be so insanely powerful. And who was the one who managed to slay it? That person's strength must have been even greater. If they could kill a fiend like that, what in the three realms could possibly threaten them?

"Master, I need to go back into the storage ring. It's too unbearable out here!" the Emerald Immortal Empress said, her phantom flickering weakly.

After Evan Chu put the Emerald Immortal Empress back into the storage ring, she added, "The runes say this Demon-Sealing Platform can only suppress the fiend for ten million years. By now, it's been nine million nine hundred thousand years—just a hundred thousand left before the platform fails. When that happens, the fiend's body will reunite, and chaos will sweep all three realms."

"Only a hundred thousand years left? That might sound long to regular folks, but for cultivators, it's nothing. By then, maybe no one will be able to stop it. Maybe the one who killed the fiend has already fallen—otherwise, why leave these runes as a warning for future generations?" Evan Chu muttered, feeling a chill run down his spine.

"Master, the runes say only a true savior can see them. Since you can, doesn't that mean you're the destined savior? And with your Primordial Dragon bloodline... everything points to you being extraordinary. Maybe only someone like you can save the world." said the Emerald Immortal Empress, her words heavy with meaning.

"I'm not that great. I haven't even reached Immortal Emperor Realm—how could I be a savior? Emerald, quit messing around. I know my own limits." Evan Chu replied, shaking his head.

He glanced at the Demon-Sealing Platform, ready to leave, when suddenly the whole thing shook violently—like the ground itself was quaking—nearly knocking him off his feet. The shock hit him like a thunderbolt.

No doubt, this had everything to do with the fiend sealed below. Evan Chu steadied himself, staring hard at the Demon-Sealing Platform. Suddenly, a stabbing pain shot through his chest—his qi and blood churned wildly, almost making him lose control.

Looking inward, he realized it was his mysterious God's Blood acting up—right in his dantian, golden light flashed, and waves of terrifying energy erupted, making him feel like his dantian was about to burst...
