Chapter 1061: It's Over

The Bone Lord's Devouring Black Flame relentlessly corroded the blazing dragon of fire, but in an instant, the now black-and-red Saedus crashed into the Bone Lord's surface, following the orange fire dragon and ravenously devouring the Devouring Black Flame covering the Bone Lord's body.

The Grand Chieftain let out a furious roar, his body swelling in size as he soared into the air and dove downward. Battle energy surged forth, transforming into a colossal blood-red fang tens of meters long, which he smashed down onto the Bone Lord's head.

The Bone Lord raised both arms to block the Grand Chieftain's massive blade. Before it could tear through the blade, the Grand Shaman's lightning turned into serpents of thunder, binding the Bone Lord's upper body.

Leon hovered in front of the Bone Lord, a giant phantom wheel floating behind him, held by the spectral form of a purple dragon towering tens of meters tall.

In his left hand, he gripped the Death Tome; in his right, the Doombringer Staff. To his left floated the Spellbook of Ages, and to his right, the Arcane Wheel.

In an instant, the powers of several magical artifacts surged at once. As Leon chanted rapidly, wild wind and fire carved a massive vortex of flame in front of him.

A crimson-gold spear, more than two meters thick, emerged from the vortex of fire. As the nearly hundred-meter-long spear broke free, the fiery vortex did not disappear, but instead twisted into a tornado, spiraling around the spear.

Terrifying waves of magical energy spread out like a tsunami, forcibly evacuating the air and causing space itself to tremble.

The gigantic flaming spear began to spin madly with the fiery tornado, but was held in place by an immense force, unable to break free.

For a full ten seconds, the flaming spear spun like a drill with such ferocity that its form vanished, leaving only a tornado of fire wrapped around a golden-red glow. At the spear's tip, jagged black spatial rifts sprouted like branches.

Suddenly, a terrifying force erupted—a shockwave rippled out from the spear's tip. Even Leon couldn't suppress this wild power anymore; after ten seconds of buildup, the force had grown beyond his control...

The Spear of Vulcan, forged from the wildest wind and fire, was then driven by those same elements to its utmost speed and power. With the added force of the swirling winds, even space itself could be torn apart!

The unleashed power instantly crossed hundreds of meters, slamming into the Bone Lord like a spinning drill. The spear's tip, packed with countless spatial fractures, even bore a point where space itself collapsed.

This force struck the Bone Lord's belly with a deafening bang—the bloated stomach burst open, and the spear pierced its flesh and body with ease.

In an instant, a swarm of Lesser Demon Lord corpses exploded from the Bone Lord's belly. The frenzied Bone Lord thrashed violently, sending out a shockwave mixed with Devouring Black Flame that blasted Dida La, the Grand Chieftain, and the Grand Shaman backward.

Everyone was corroded by thick Devouring Black Flame—even Leon's shield was ignited by its touch...

Saedus darted through the air, swiftly devouring the Devouring Black Flame from all four of them, and even consumed the flames lingering in midair...

The group, faces pale, stared at the frenzied demon, none daring to step forward. The Bone Lord clutched its ruptured stomach and howled madly, yet did not attack.

A few seconds later, the Bone Lord's aura plummeted, its strength draining away like a breached dam—its very life force rapidly fading...

After more than ten seconds, the Bone Lord let out an unwilling roar and toppled like a small mountain. Its skin withered rapidly, and the Devouring Black Flame swirling around its corpse set it ablaze—within half a minute, it was reduced to ashes.

Saedus dove into the ashes, greedily devouring the lingering Devouring Black Flame, its body transforming into a mass of black-and-red fire.

The battle was over. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

As a Black Iron Lord of the Silver Bloodline, the Bone Lord in its hungry state was like a skeleton draped in skin—utterly without weakness and defended to a terrifying degree.

But once it overate, its belly would swell and expose a weakness—its stomach became the most vulnerable spot. Especially if it fought violently right after gorging, its power would become chaotic and plummet.

Moreover, the Bone Lord's power source was its stomach; it advanced and replenished its strength by devouring. Once its power source was destroyed, the Bone Lord would die in a blaze of Devouring Black Flame.

But if, at the very start, the Bone Lord's belly was shriveled, with everyone only able to muster Sky Rank Level One strength, there'd be no hope of breaking its power source.

With the Bone Lord gone, the black smoke in the canyon entirely dissipated. The modified Central Alchemical Array began to operate, and at the canyon's center, a massive black hole appeared in the earth. It seemed to link to the endless Abyss, deep abyssal energy pouring out as the ground trembled violently.

The changes in the alchemical array weren't over yet—a gigantic hand surged upward from the endless abyss within the black hole.

A torrent of wild power erupted as a demon claw, easily a hundred meters across, forced its way out of the mere thirty-meter-wide black hole. Instantly, the terrifying force triggered a change in the heavens.

The sky grew utterly dark, as if it were about to collapse. The entire mountain range trembled, and fine spatial fractures appeared around the massive demon claw—its overwhelming power tore the fabric of space as if it were nothing.

Faced with this transformation, everyone's expression changed dramatically. Dida La was the first to charge forward, transforming into a dragon-headed elemental of fire. With a swing of his staff, he unleashed over a hundred Exploding Flame spells.

A chain of explosions thundered out, only slowing the massive hand's advance slightly. But on the enormous demon claw, not a single mark was left.

With a gentle wave, the demon claw seemed to rip the entire sky down, pressing toward Dida La. The air compressed into a giant, transparent block, smashing hard against Dida La's shield.

Bang! Bang! Bang...

A series of deafening crashes—Dida La's dozen layers of flame shields shredded like paper, and the leftover force struck his triple shield, sending Dida La flying backward.

The Grand Chieftain's body shot up to over four meters tall. He swung his massive blade, unleashing a hundred-meter-long battle energy slash, condensed like a blood-red fang. It struck the demon claw, but with a crash, shattered into fragments—again, leaving no mark.

The Grand Shaman's lightning attack struck the giant demon claw, producing a shower of sparks—like water splashing on steel, leaving only a faint residue and nothing else.

Leon unleashed three quad-elemental explosive blasts in quick succession. The powerful explosions only slightly slowed the giant hand's emergence, unable to inflict any real damage.

Dida La stared at the hundred-meter-long demon claw, his eyelids twitching uncontrollably.

"Everyone, attack together—suppress it now!"

The hand of the Blazeforge Archfiend!

Just one hand spanned a hundred meters, the oppressive force radiating from the massive demon claw felt like a mountain pressing down on everyone's soul.

Bombarded by so many spells, the enormous demon claw remained completely unscathed—taking a barrage of eighth-rank spells head-on, without a single mark left behind.

But with a casual wave, the demon claw seemed to tear open space itself, smashing through with terrifying strength.

The force unleashed by a flick of its finger was comparable to a full-power strike from a Sky Rank warrior!

If this creature managed to bring out even one arm, wiping out everyone here would be as easy as a giant squashing an ant.

Except for Dida La, the Grand Chieftain, the Grand Shaman, and Leon, everyone else rushed to the canyon's sides, unleashing spells like a flood.

A torrent of spells rained down, hundreds to thousands every second landing on the massive demon claw. Yet all they could do was barely hold it back from emerging further.

Not only could they not harm the massive demon claw, they couldn't even force it back.

With a casual flick, the demon claw shattered the space in front of its finger, compressing the air into a projectile and blasting it out.

Hundreds of meters away, the Bloodfang Tribe's wolf cavalry was swept by the shockwave. Over a thousand orc riders, all above level thirty, had their combined power shattered in an instant—more than a thousand were sent flying, coughing blood.

After several flicks of the demon claw, everyone except the four Sky Rank mages was gravely wounded.

Five minutes later, the Grand Chieftain, Grand Shaman, Dida La, and Leon were all injured. The giant hand toyed with them as if a person were teasing ants—no matter what the ants did, they couldn't harm it, while even the slightest force from the demon claw could crush dozens at once.

Diras became a shadow, one arm severed, dodging an attack in terror. He looked up at Leon, still fighting, and screamed in rage.

"Matthew Merlin, you damned bastard! You're trying to get us all killed, trying to release this demon Archfiend! You've been seduced by its power!

Damn you! What do you have to say now? It's over, completely over—the demon Archfiend is about to break free...

Let's see you talk your way out now! Of everyone here, you're the least wounded. This is a demon Archfiend—even with just one hand, there's no way your rune shield could withstand it.

You must've made a deal with this demon Archfiend. We're finished, and you won't escape either.

If I die, I'm taking you with me...!"

Diras screamed in terror and rage, nearly driven mad by this despairing power. Just as he was about to strike, a quad-elemental explosive suddenly appeared before him and detonated with a bang...

The terrifying force blasted Diras backward. As he struggled to his feet, he saw the cracks on the Shadow Cloak growing wider...
