Snobbish Eyes Looking Down on People

1/18/2026

Everyone knew Adrian Zhang's strength—he was ranked 90th on the Soaring Dragon Ranking, and the move he just used was his strongest technique, the Sky-Rending Sword Art!

Whenever the Sky-Rending Sword Art is unleashed, even ordinary Sun-Soul experts wouldn’t dare take it head-on. Even with divine armor, you’d be stabbed through with a single strike. By rights, Brian Zhang should never have been able to block it—but right now, he was completely unharmed.

For a moment, everyone’s gaze fell on the ugly-looking Flamefrost Armor.

There was a faint sword mark on the chest, but it quickly faded and disappeared.

“Such strong defense!”

“Yeah! If we wear this armor, even Sun-Soul experts might have trouble killing us!”

Suddenly, everyone was staring at the Flamefrost Armor in the chest with burning eyes.

“Since nobody likes it, I’ll just pack it away!”

Ian Song’s voice rang out, full of playful mockery.

“No, Captain, it was our fault! We shouldn’t have complained that the armor was too ugly!” Hannah Chen, who’d disliked the Flamefrost Armor the most, was the first to shout.

"Captain, we were wrong too! Besides, once you give something away, you can’t just take it back!" Jackson Wenren chimed in, thick-skinned.

"Alright, one set per person. Go grab yours!"

Ian Song waved his hand, and everyone immediately rushed up, emptying the chest of all the armor sets.

The night passed in a flash.

Early the next morning, after a quick bit of organizing, Ian led everyone—now all wearing Flamefrost Armor—straight toward Blackrock City.

The closer they got to the front lines, the more desolate it became. Especially the towns near Blackrock City—there was barely a soul in sight. After an hour of travel, the group arrived at Blackrock’s gates.

"Are you here to fight?"

The gate guard saw Ian Song’s group approaching and barked a question, but his eyes held obvious disdain. He thought their armor looked so crude—even worse than his own—so he figured anyone wearing such junk couldn’t be that strong.

Feeling the guard’s contempt, Brian Zhang wanted to explode. Back in Dragonfang City, every one of them was a high-and-mighty young master—now they were being looked down on by a few lowly soldiers.

But Ian just shot him a look, so Brian had to hold it in.
