Such an Embarrassing Illness

1/5/2026

"Alright, I'll just carry you—" At this moment, seeing that Tina Tian could barely stand, Ryan Ling realized this was getting serious and hurried over to pick her up.

But Tina seemed really traditional. The moment she saw Ryan about to pick her up, she quickly blocked him and said, "N-no, that's not good! Just help me walk, okay?"

"Alright then!" Seeing Tina insist, Ryan could only agree, so he supported her as they headed for the airplane restroom.

The other passengers didn't think much of it. Watching Ryan take such good care of Tina and stand up for her, they all clearly assumed they were a couple. Now, seeing the two of them go to the restroom together, nobody said a word.

Once inside, Tina quickly plopped down and urgently called out to Ryan, "C-can you turn around? I-I can't hold it anymore!"

Ryan was a bit confused by the situation, but seeing Tina like this, he quickly turned his back. Just as he did, he immediately heard Tina let out a sharp scream.

Instinctively, Ryan spun back around—and what he saw made his face go completely red.

Tina was actually 'peeing'—and the spray was shockingly high.

Seeing Ryan suddenly turn around and stare, Tina was mortified beyond belief. But she couldn't stop the intense episode, and kept crying out in embarrassment.

She kept screaming for over ten seconds before finally calming down. Her body was drenched in sweat, her hair soaked through, and she kept trembling all over.

"C-can you please stop looking? I feel like I can't show my face anymore!" Tina saw Ryan still staring in shock, and she was so anxious she was about to cry.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to!" Ryan quickly waved his hands and turned around, his heart pounding like crazy. This scene was honestly more intense than when he slaughtered the Ten Reapers.

Seriously, what kind of illness does Tina even have?

"Alright, l-let's go!" After letting it all out, Tina was clearly feeling much better.

"Oh, okay!" Ryan nodded quickly and went to open the door.

"Wait, hold on!" Tina stopped him in a panic and immediately added, "You have to promise me you'll keep what just happened a secret, okay?"

"Don't worry, nobody else will ever know!" Ryan nodded firmly. Tina was obviously super conservative, but having a condition like this must be unspeakably humiliating. Plus, this was their first meeting, so he wasn't about to tell anyone. Still, as he spoke, he couldn't help glancing at the wet floor around the toilet—her 'spray' was seriously intense.

"You're still looking? Seriously!" Tina raised her little fist, ready to smack him.

"I'm just curious, I swear! Nothing else!" Ryan shook his head quickly.

"Enough, let's go—I'm seriously too embarrassed to face anyone!" Tina stomped her foot, hurriedly opened the door herself, and rushed out. Ryan followed close behind, wanting to explain.

But Tina wasn't about to let him explain. She grabbed her luggage and moved to an empty seat, burying her head on the tray table.

"Bro, your skills are next-level! We heard everything just now—respect, man!"

"Yeah, dude, you're seriously strong! But wasn't that a bit much? Looks like your girl is pissed!"

...

As soon as Ryan came out, a crowd of guys surrounded him, tossing out comments and jokes. Even a few female office workers nearby bit their lips and gave him flirty looks, as if asking if he had any energy left for another round.

Ryan had zero interest in dealing with these flirty women. He glanced over at Tina—she really was a shy, traditional girl. Hearing all these comments, she was both embarrassed and anxious, stomping her feet nonstop.

Ryan wanted to explain, but in this kind of situation, Tina definitely wasn't going to talk to him anymore.

Forget it, this was just a random encounter. Once they got off the plane, they'd probably never see each other again.

Soon, the two-hour flight ended and the plane landed smoothly at Jinling Airport. The Tan Family crew slunk off right away, and just as Ryan expected, Tina disappeared into the crowd after getting off—after what happened, she probably never wanted to see him again.

Leaving the airport, Ryan started planning his next moves in Jinling. He had three things to do: first, report to Jinling University—whether he actually studied was up to him; second, get his military rank at the Jinling Military Region, though he wasn't that interested in army stuff; and third, visit the Yan Family. The mother-daughter pair Serena Yan and Lily Yan were pretty tempting, but honestly, his main goal was to expand his Hell-side power—that was what really mattered!

But things had to be done one step at a time—just like eating, one bite after another. First, he'd go report to Jinling University. His official identity was still a student, and his 'public' mission in Jinling was to study. Plus, he was just getting things set up; eventually, Sophie Su and Angie Chen would transfer here, and Lily Yan was already at Jinling University.

After thinking it over for a moment, Ryan flagged a taxi straight to Jinling University.

Jinling University was one of the top five schools in China, packed with talent from all over Jiangnan. Countless famous figures had graduated from here, and getting in was a huge honor. For many families, having a kid at Jinling was something they'd brag about for years.

Of course, for Ryan, all this was just a game. Ever since he reached Foundation-Building and stepped onto the Immortal Path, fame didn't mean much anymore. Still, when his parents were alive, they'd always nagged him to study hard. If he could get into Jinling University, they'd die happy.

Now he'd finally crossed Jinling University's threshold, but his parents were gone. Thinking about it made Ryan feel a little bitter.

Growing up without family around, he couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness.

He finished the registration smoothly and walked into the famous campus. The place had a strong academic vibe, with students bustling everywhere. Ryan found it all pretty novel—despite all the earth-shaking stuff he'd done recently, deep down he was still just a student.

As he strolled along a campus path, a big group of freshmen came marching over. Leading them was a girl with her chin held high, looking every bit the rich heiress—like she owned the whole school.

Ryan hated girls like that. He was about to turn away when the girl suddenly shouted at him: "Hey, you, stop right there! I'm talking to you—are you deaf or what?"

Ryan frowned, feeling annoyed—this girl's attitude was way too cocky. But her voice sounded strangely familiar.

Ryan couldn't help but turn around. When he saw her, he froze—and the girl looked just as surprised.

"Ryan Ling, it really is you? What are you doing in Jinling? Here to check out our school? Hahaha!"

Seeing her contemptuous look, four words popped into Ryan's mind—cousin Linda Ling.

This cousin, just four days older than him, had always lorded it over him since they were kids, acting like a rich heiress and calling him a 'little bastard.' Back then, his family was poor while his uncle's side was loaded. Sometimes his parents couldn't even afford his tuition, so they'd swallow their pride and ask his uncle for help. But not only did his uncle refuse, he also ripped into his parents, saying they were fools for trying to educate their son, and that they'd never amount to anything.

Ryan was young then, but he'd hidden in the back and heard every word. To him, his uncle's family might have been blood relatives, but they were worse than enemies.

That's why his parents were so determined to make Ryan study hard and succeed—so he could win back their dignity someday.

Now, after all these years, he never expected to run into his cousin here in Jinling. His parents were gone, but he'd never forget that arrogant, entitled look in her eyes.

"So it's you, Cousin. I'm not here to check things out—I'm a first-year, just like you!" Ryan said, full of confidence.

But as soon as Ryan finished, Linda burst out laughing again: "Are you kidding me? You think someone like you could get into Jinling? Please. Even if you snuck in to check out the campus, I wouldn't look down on you. We both know the kind of trash schools you went to—getting into some third-rate college would be tough enough. Not like me, I've always been a cut above you, haha..."
