After a tough struggle, Shawn Young managed to press down hard on his unruly "little Shawn" with his right hand, forcing it to retreat back to its lair, waiting for the next opportunity!
"Uh—Alright, Shawn Young, let me formally introduce myself. My name is Rainie Cheng, Senior Inspector with Interpol in the Hong Kong SAR. First, I sincerely thank you for saving my colleague, Officer Simon Tsai!" The beautiful policewoman blushed and extended her slender jade hand to Shawn Young as she spoke.
"Oh! No problem, no problem, haha—" Shawn Young quickly reached out his right hand, wanting to shake hands with the beautiful Inspector Rainie Cheng. But Rainie hesitated, frowning slightly, unsure if she should actually shake hands with Shawn.
Unfortunately for Rainie, her hesitation didn't stop Shawn one bit. He excitedly grabbed her delicate hand, feeling its soft, springy, and warm texture—a truly wonderful sensation. Shawn was over the moon, thinking to himself, "Damn, this is the first time in my life I've ever shaken hands with such a beautiful woman. It feels amazing!" Lost in his thoughts, he kept holding onto Rainie's jade-like hand tightly.
But Rainie Cheng was extremely embarrassed, because she knew all too well that Shawn had just grabbed his own little brother with that very hand—a hand now sporting a shiny black curly hair.
And now, Rainie could clearly feel that mischievous curly hair had landed right in her palm! She suddenly felt an urge to cough up blood! Her pretty face flushed a deep red, making her look even more alluring. Shawn, meanwhile, thought Rainie had some special feelings for him and got even more excited, refusing to let go of her hand. This made Rainie desperately want to kick Shawn Young across the room.
"Ahem... ahem..." Lilian Grace, standing nearby, looked a bit annoyed and coughed softly twice. Shawn finally snapped out of it, reluctantly letting go of Rainie's jade hand and asking, "Uh... by the way, who is Officer Simon Tsai?"
"That's me! I'm Simon Tsai." Just then, a man in a wheelchair rolled into the room from the doorway.
"Huh? Country... Country Grunt!!" Shawn Young was instantly stunned.
"...Yeah, I do have a nickname—Country Grunt! But my real name is Simon Tsai, a Hong Kong Interpol officer. Little brother, if you like, you can keep calling me Country Grunt, I don't mind. After all, you're my lifesaver... haha!" Simon Tsai rolled his wheelchair up to Shawn Young and said with a laugh.
“Wow! You—you’re an Interpol agent from Hong Kong too? What brings you to the mainland for a case?” Shawn asked curiously.
“It’s all tied to the biggest gang in Nanning, the Blue Wolf Syndicate,” Simon Cai explained. “They’ve got deep roots here, with connections in both the underworld and the authorities. Their protection runs high, so they’re bold enough to dabble in any illegal business! This time, Blue Wolf teamed up with Hong Kong’s legendary triad, East Star, and used human traffickers to smuggle drugs. They move huge amounts of narcotics from the Golden Triangle into Hong Kong, threatening our city’s prosperity and safety. Obviously, Interpol isn’t going to let this slide, so I went undercover inside Blue Wolf!”
“Huh? Human drug mules? How does that even work?” Shawn was confused by all this.
“Well... they force the smugglers to swallow capsules filled with drugs, or sometimes... specially sealed condoms. Once in Hong Kong, they take laxatives to pass the goods. It’s one of the traffickers’ favorite tricks,” Simon said.
“Uh... swallowing condoms? That’s... that’s hardcore!” Shawn’s eyes widened.
“There are even worse methods, but I’ll spare you the details. Anyway, my cover’s been blown! If you hadn’t stepped in, I’d be dead by now—thanks to Gavin Grant, the Mantis Hunter! But now we’ve spooked them, and our trail has gone cold,” Simon sighed.
“Not necessarily, Officer Cai. According to our intel, Blue Wolf suspects you, but he still doesn’t know what happened to Gavin Grant. He trusts his Thirteen Enforcers too much! After Eric Liu called the cops, our Interpol team locked down the scene and kept everything hush-hush. So Blue Wolf is still waiting for news from Gavin,” Rainy Cheng chimed in.
“So what? My cover’s blown—I can’t get close to Blue Wolf anymore. Without solid evidence, there’s no way to bring him to justice!” Simon said.
Rainy Cheng smiled mysteriously. “I know, but we just cooked up a ‘Plan B.’ If it works, Blue Wolf Syndicate is finished—and the Thirteen Enforcers will be crippled too! With a bit of luck, we’ll catch them all in one big sweep. You know, compared to the Thirteen Enforcers, Blue Wolf is small potatoes!”
“Whoa! If we can take down the Thirteen Enforcers too, that’s... that’s a huge win! So what’s Plan B?” Simon perked up.
"The success of Plan B hinges on teamwork from Miss Liu, Eric Liu, and—most importantly—Shawn Young's full support. This step is the key of all keys for Plan B! We'll also need to borrow a few top experts from the National Paranormal Task Force to help us pull off this tough mission! Officer Simon, your job is simple: you just need to show up once—as the corpse of Country Grunt!" Rainy Cheng explained.
"Play the corpse?! Oh... I get it! That way, it'll look like Gavin Grant finished Blue Wolf Syndicate's job, and my undercover identity gets a proper wrap-up!" Simon Cai blinked, then nodded in realization.

"Oh! Because your build, physique, and vibe are super similar to Gavin Grant. So... in Plan B, you'll impersonate Gavin Grant and keep Lilian Grace 'kidnapped,' wandering around with her! We'll leak the news, intentionally or not, to draw attention." Rainy Cheng looked Shawn up and down as she spoke.
"Wait! I look like Mantis Hunter? Are you sure you're not messing with me? Do I really resemble him? Is he even half as handsome as me?" Shawn Young grumbled.
"Listen, I said your build and vibe, especially your temperament! With a little help from a disguise master and a raspy voice, you can totally pass for Gavin Grant! Honestly, you're a bit more handsome than him." Rainy Cheng joked.
"Uh-oh! Disguise? That sounds super risky! I... I'm not sure about this..." Shawn Young stammered.
"Hmph... I'm a girl and I'm not afraid! What's your excuse? So, are you in or not?" Lilian Grace fixed her big, beautiful eyes on Shawn Young.
"I—I wanna do it! I wanna..." Honestly, what Shawn Young really wanted was to get with Lilian Grace.
"Originally, Blue Wolf took a commission from his sworn brother, Panther Chen, to use Miss Liu and Eric Liu to pressure Liu Zhengnan, the head of Tiannan Group, into submission—and squeeze a hefty ransom out of him! To make sure the plan worked, they somehow got in touch with the Thirteen Enforcers. Things were going smoothly until you and your three classmates crashed the party and threw everything into chaos! Now that Gavin Grant is in our hands and the news is locked down, it’s been over a day. Blue Wolf, still waiting for word, is bound to negotiate with the Thirteen Enforcers’ boss. That’s when we’ll swoop in and nab them all! Interpol and the National Paranormal Task Force have been hunting the Thirteen Enforcers for years with no luck—this is our golden chance! And now is the perfect time to act!” Rainy Cheng explained.
"Inspector Cheng, we’ve got Miss Liu’s help, but we still need Eric Liu. Is he going to join the plan too? He’s not fully recovered yet," Simon asked quickly.
"Heh, as for Eric Liu—leave that to me!" Rainy Cheng said with a smile.
"Huh?! You—you’re a woman! How are you going to pull that off?" Everyone was stunned.
"Oh! I forgot to mention, I’m the one handling the disguises. Trust me, I’ll look just like Eric Liu—you won’t be able to tell the difference!" Rainy Cheng laughed.
"Wow, Sister Rainy is really that amazing? I can’t wait to see it!" Lilian Grace said excitedly.
