Now we’re really screwed. Are they planning to turn all of China into their playground?” Gabriel Xue slammed his fist on the table, burning with frustration.

“World Dominion Society, those damn bastards!” Kenneth Li took a deep breath and forced himself to focus. “Let’s not panic yet—there might still be a way out. The public is still with us. Get hold of every reporter who went to Japan and blow up the coverage of the anti-Japan war. We can’t fight openly, but we can use public opinion to put pressure on the top. But he’d barely left when he collided head-on with Harvey “Million” Jin and the others.

“Hello? Calling Yan Capital HQ, calling General Lin…” Kenneth Li didn’t hesitate, grabbing the satellite phone to reach his contacts in the Central Military Commission. But after just a few words, all he got was static—nothing at all!

“Son of a bitch!” Kenneth Li roared, hurling the phone across the room. Just as Harvey had said, Jinling was completely locked down—no way in or out.

“I’ll be damned if I let them get away with this! I just got back from Japan—I refuse to fall on my own turf. Let’s see how they plan to explain this to the whole country!” Kenneth Li shouted, frustrated beyond belief.

“I bet those guys will do anything now. General Li, we need to pull back—get everyone onto the ships!” Gabriel Xue urged.
