Five Billion 3

River Li took a deep breath and said to Lily Bai, "Let's go!"

The group stood up and prepared to leave.

However, as they passed by, Shaun Fane reached out to block Lily Bai's way.

Lily Bai turned to look at him. "What is it?"

"Aren't we supposed to talk about selling the drama?"

"President Fane, are you interested in buying?" Lily Bai asked.

"Sure!" Shaun Fane looked at her with a half-smile. "Just kneel down and kowtow to apologize, and I'll think about it. How about that?"

Lily Bai laughed. "Shaun Fane, if you've gone insane, you should be in a hospital! Running around scaring people isn't right."

"Hahaha! Say whatever you want!" Shaun Fane laughed heartily. "Let me make it clear: as long as the Fane Group is around, you'll never find a single platform to buy your show! That seventy-million investment of yours—'Spoiled Rotten Consort'—is just going to rot on the shelf!"

Lily Bai pressed her lips together and said nothing.

Colin Grant said last time that the Fane Group has stakes or even controlling shares in all the major streaming platforms—and it sure looks like that's true.

"Seventy million... plus all the other upfront costs, White Entertainment has invested over a hundred million, right? And so far, not even a ripple!" Shaun Fane put on a sympathetic face. "I heard President Li eats instant noodles for lunch every day? Oh wow! Those mouth sores—must be from too much instant noodles, huh?"

River Li glared at him, feeling both embarrassed and angry.

The worst part is... he was telling the truth.

The mouth sores really did come from eating too much instant noodles...

"Why don't you worry about yourself instead!" Lily Bai was already sick of him. "Could you move aside?"

Shaun Fane refused to move.

So Lily Bai simply shoved him aside and walked off.

Shaun Fane's face turned ugly, but he didn't dare fight back. He just spat out a threat: "What are you so cocky for? White Entertainment won't last much longer! I can't wait to see you run out of Dragon City with your tail between your legs!"

Lily Bai couldn't be bothered with him and walked away coolly.

Samson Zhang and Eric Lan naturally followed along.

However, Shaun Fane's two artists quietly stepped in to block their way.

"What do you think you're doing?" Eric Lan raised an eyebrow.

Ryan Tian smirked, "Are you guys White Entertainment artists?"

These two rookies clearly hadn't figured out who's who in the Dragon City scene—they didn't even recognize Eric Lan, one of Dragon City's Big Four Heirs.

"Heh!" Eric Lan laughed. "Who the hell are you? Can't you see I'm leaving? Good dogs don't block the road!"

The truth is, Eric Lan only acts like a soft blue bunny around Lily Bai.

In social circles, he's the military crown prince.

When he gets arrogant, he's even worse than Shaun Fane used to be.

He's faced off against Shaun Fane several times and has never come out on the losing end.

Otherwise, how else would he have earned the title of one of Dragon City's Big Four Heirs?

Of course, every time he acts out, his grandpa, dad, and brother take turns giving him hell—so he mostly holds back, which is why he's only ranked second.

FuFei is still pretty hot these days.

But Eric Lan actually doesn't recognize them.

Ryan Tian sneered, "Doesn't matter if you don't know me now—you will soon! But with 'talent' like you guys, if White Entertainment actually manages to make you famous, I'll kneel and give you a—"

Jason Zhong chimed in, "Exactly! You're not even D-list, just country bumpkins and ugly as hell—what are you so cocky about?"
