5 Billion 4

Eric Lan shot them a look, then turned to Shaun Fane. "Damn, Shaun Fane, where’d you dig up these two pieces of trash? They look like dead eunuchs! Seriously, keep them at home and play with them yourself—don’t bring them out to pollute everyone’s eyes!"

He reached over to block Samson Zhang’s eyes. "Sammy, don’t look at them! You’ll grow corns on your eyeballs!"

Samson Zhang, deadpan, brushed off his hand. "You can’t get corns on your eyes. Those are called styes."

Eric Lan: "Really? Fine, whatever..."

"Who’re you calling a eunuch?!" Ryan Tian was so mad his mouth twisted.

"Obviously you two! Can’t you tell?" Eric Lan gave them a look that screamed, 'Bless your hearts, you idiots.'

"You—" Ryan Tian grabbed Eric Lan’s collar, looking ready to throw down.

Lily Bai darted between them, splitting the sides. "Guys, we’re all public figures here. If someone films us brawling, it’ll be a PR disaster!"

Ryan Tian was about to hit Eric Lan, but Lily pushed him aside and he swung at thin air, stumbling a bit and nearly falling over.

His face flushed red, torn between embarrassment and anger. He reached out to shove Lily Bai: "Get lost!"

But before he could touch her, someone grabbed his wrist. Instantly, his whole arm went numb and heavy—he couldn’t move a muscle.

It was Samson Zhang, eyes cold as ice as he held him in place.

"Lily Bai!" Shaun Fane called out. "What are you doing?"

"Me? Nothing at all!" Lily Bai pointed at Ryan Tian. "This little girl’s words are way too harsh! I’m just trying to talk some sense into her!"

"Who the hell are you calling a girl?!" Ryan Tian yelled, face burning with anger and pain.

"Uh... Oops, not a girl? With that voice, I thought you were a boy!" Lily Bai grinned. "Buddy, what you said just now was really mean!

How about this: since you started it, you apologize to them and we’ll call it a day, sound good?"

"Did I say anything wrong? What kind of artists does White Entertainment have? One’s dark and ugly like a dog, the other’s pale and dumb like a pig! If those two nobodies can get famous, even mother pigs could climb trees!"

Lily Bai’s eyes went cold. She signaled Samson Zhang to let him go and said, "Oh yeah? Want to make a bet about that?"

Ryan Tian rubbed his sore wrist and backed up a few steps. "Bet on what?"

"I bet... in three months, those two will be burning up the charts! They’ll dominate the rankings—you’ll be eating their dust. Do you dare?"

Shaun Fane burst out laughing. "Lily Bai, are you nuts? Those two? Ryan Tian and Jason Zhong don’t even know who they are, and I know even less! Total nobodies!"

"Yep, those two nobodies," Lily Bai said confidently. "So, do you dare to bet?"

Ryan Tian and Jason Zhong both looked at Shaun Fane.

Shaun Fane said, "Bet with her! This is a sure win—what’s there to be afraid of?"

"Fine!" Ryan Tian said. "What’s the bet?"

"Didn’t you just say? If we win, you two kneel to Eric Lan and Samson Zhang—and if you win, Eric and Samson kneel to you!"

Eric Lan and Samson Zhang both glared at Lily Bai, faces dark as thunder.

What kind of bet is this, anyway?

"That’s it? How boring! Think you can up the ante?" Shaun Fane protested.

"Raise the stakes how?"

"Money, of course! If we’re betting, let’s bet cash. The kneeling thing is between those four—let’s you and me bet some real money, what do you say?" Shaun Fane grinned.
