Am I Really That Kind of Person
Kevin Zhuo stood up, looking at everyone as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.
Minister Zhuo gave him a cold glance and asked, "Do you really not know what Grace Wan has done?"
Kevin Zhuo was stunned for a long while, then shook his head.
He was truly shocked by what Grace Wan had said.
He genuinely had no idea about any of it before.
However, he felt his mother was absolutely right!
Lena deserved to die!
Grace Lawrence deserved to die too!
But... right now, he didn't dare say it out loud.
"Go bury your uncle's body," Minister Zhuo said. "We'll talk about the rest when we get home."
Kevin Zhuo nodded, carefully avoiding Grace Lawrence as he hurried away.
"Father, Mother, you two go back to the manor first! Evan Xiao is injured, so I'll head to the General's Manor to check on him."
Minister Zhuo nodded, patted Evan Xiao on the shoulder, and left with Lena.
Once back at the General's Manor, Grace went straight inside and began undressing Evan Xiao.
Evan Xiao raised his eyebrows but let her unbutton his clothes, revealing his injured shoulder.
His injury wasn't actually that serious.
There were a few deep scrapes, the skin was broken and bleeding.
Grace applied medicine and bandaged him with gauze.
Then she continued to undress him.
"What are you doing?" Evan Xiao grabbed his clothes.
"Let me check if you have any other injuries." She just couldn't relax—after all, that person was way too powerful!
"There aren't any."
"Let me see!" Grace grabbed hold of his clothes and wouldn't let go.
"Really, I'm fine." Evan Xiao still didn't let go.
But the more he resisted, the more suspicious Grace became. "Just let me check! That person's cultivation level was so high, I can't help but worry."
Evan Xiao looked at her. "Are you really just checking my injuries, or do you just want to see my body?"
"What are you talking about? Am I that kind of person?" Grace widened her eyes at him.
"You are."
"...Let go!"
So, Evan Xiao let go, and Grace stripped off all his clothes.
Healthy skin, a perfectly fine body—he really didn't have any other injuries.
"No injuries at all..." Grace blinked and said, "Looks like I was just overthinking!"
Evan Xiao put his clothes back on, but his shoulder hurt so much he couldn't fasten them, leaving his chest exposed. His abs were clearly visible... making him look incredibly sexy and tempting.
Grace's eyes flickered, not daring to look too much, afraid she'd get a nosebleed again.
"Look at you, acting all guilty. You obviously just wanted an excuse to check out my body."
"I did not!"
"Then why is your face so red?"
"Well... well..." Grace tried to change the subject. "Since you're fine, I'll head back now."
But suddenly, his arm tightened around her, pulling her close so her face pressed against his bare chest.
"If you want to look, look all you want. Why are you leaving?" His chest vibrated as he spoke.
Grace swallowed nervously and held her hands up in surrender, afraid to touch his skin. "I really don't mean anything else..."
"You can if you want to."
Grace shot him a quick glance. He looked at her with a half-smile, his straight nose and sexy lips especially captivating.
Grace's mind went fuzzy again, and she blurted out, "Really?"
Evan Xiao smiled. "Really."
"Uh..." Grace slapped her own forehead. "I mean—I was joking, I..."
"What are you going to do?" Evan Xiao lowered his head, his voice seductively soft.
Grace, overcome by a rush of heat, stood on tiptoe and kissed him.
