I Know Serena Tong

2/14/2026

The same calm tone as always.

The boy's voice didn't change at all, even in front of Yara Song's celebrity status.

"This film festival is important for most actors. As for Serena Tong..."

Yara Song listened to Evan Lin ask again, feeling a bit displeased and furrowing her brows slightly, but her good upbringing made her decide to answer him anyway.

But before she could finish speaking...

The man beside her directly cut her off.

"Sorry, we're not Serena Tong, and I'm not her manager. If you're interested in Serena, you can go find her yourself."

The man's voice was icy.

If it weren't for this kid, Yara Song's identity wouldn't have been exposed, forcing him to be extra alert now to stop anyone around from sneaking photos.

After all, Yara Song is a celebrity. Getting photographed here isn't a big deal, but nowadays, the worst are those unscrupulous media who twist everything out of context.

These people can turn black into white; most rumors start with just one photo, and the rest is all made up.

If someone happens to snap a photo of Yara Song walking next to someone while getting off the plane, it’ll spark a whole round of gossip.

That would definitely be bad news for Yara Song.

"Haha, isn't that nonsense? Serena Tong is a super popular star—how could this kid possibly track her down?"

Someone heard this and shifted their gaze from Yara Song to Evan Lin, grinning as they spoke.

"Yeah, Serena Tong hasn't made a movie in ages, but her fame is undeniable. Not just anyone gets to meet her. I heard she rarely even attends regular parties—she seems almost untouchable, like some goddess above the mortal world." Another person quickly nodded in agreement.

"Speaking of Serena Tong in ancient costume, she was absolutely stunning! Gorgeous beyond words!"

With Evan Lin’s question, the topic that had been focused on Yara Song suddenly shifted to Serena Tong.

As everyone started talking about Serena Tong, the attention on Yara Song faded. Even those who were begging for a photo earlier now joined the discussion, forgetting all about their requests.

The man felt even more annoyed inside.

Yara Song’s mood also soured a bit.

She was well-mannered and usually spoke gently, but being exposed as a celebrity had made her a little unhappy. She’d hoped people would shift the topic away from her, but now that everyone was talking about Serena Tong instead, she felt even more uncomfortable inside.

That’s just how women are sometimes.

You never cherish what you have until it's gone—only then do you realize what’s truly precious.

"So, where is this film festival held? And when does it start?"

The boy’s voice spoke up again.

"Are you nuts or something?"

Victor Wu, feeling even more annoyed, couldn’t help but yell at Evan Lin. He frowned and stared at Evan: "Why don’t you just look up where the festival is and when it starts online?"

"And who are you trying to impress with that calm act? Are you planning to play hard-to-get? What, you want to show off to Yara, make yourself seem special?"

"Are you hoping Yara will notice how 'different' you are?"

"Whenever people hear Yara's name, they rush over for autographs and photos, but you keep talking about Serena Tong? Pretending you don't care about Yara at all—aren’t you just trying to make her curious about you?"

"Let me tell you, kid, Yara isn’t buying that at all!"

Victor Wu was Yara Song’s manager, and he’d dealt with plenty of rich kids before, so he knew all the tricks for picking up girls.

So in his eyes, Evan Lin was just trying a roundabout approach to grab Yara Song’s attention.

They say curiosity killed the cat—and for a woman, falling for a man often starts with being curious about him.

Hearing Victor Wu’s words, many people around turned their gaze to Evan Lin again.

Behind her sunglasses, Yara Song also looked at Evan Lin. She didn’t say anything, but the corner of her mouth under the mask showed a hint of disdain.

But her disguise was so thorough that no one noticed her mood change.

"Sorry, but honestly, I really don’t have much of an impression of the name Yara Song."

Evan Lin shook his head.

As soon as Evan Lin said that...

"Haha, bro, come on, stop pretending! You know Serena Tong but not Yara Song?" someone laughed.

"Serena Tong and Yara Song didn’t get famous at the same time, but there’s been plenty of news about them both. They were even rumored to work together on a film. You say you’re looking for Serena Tong but don’t know Yara Song? That’s pretty hard to believe."

Another person shook their head at this point.

"Hey, kid, everyone’s already seen through your hard-to-get act. Don’t be so stubborn," a middle-aged man said, shaking his head at Evan Lin. "Famous stars like these aren’t just something money can buy."

"You do need a lot of money, though. And since you’re sitting in first class, I guess your family isn’t poor—but compared to Yara Song’s net worth, you’re probably not in the same league."

"Better not dream about eating swan meat, just admire from afar and don’t get too close."

The man said this and even smiled at Evan Lin.

"I don’t care about gossip or news. The only reason I know Serena Tong is because I actually know her and have met her. As for Yara Song, sorry, I really don’t remember her at all."

Evan Lin looked at the man, his tone flat.

"Man, you’re really no fun," the middle-aged man said, feeling Evan Lin just wouldn’t listen and getting annoyed.

"Ridiculous. There are countless people who've met Serena Tong, but the key is, she definitely doesn’t know you,"

Victor Wu snorted, looking at Evan Lin with nothing but contempt.
