Evan Lin Evan Lin

"What are you planning to do—are you really going to use a soccer ball as a weapon now?"

Seeing Evan Lin's movements, the players below the stands all had a sudden change of expression.

The scene of Evan kicking Ethan Yi over just now was still fresh in their minds. He'd knocked someone down from so far away—never mind what he could do at point-blank range.

If he really landed a kick at this distance, wouldn't you just black out on the spot?

But Evan didn't spare them a single glance. He let go of the soccer ball, tossing it gently upward, then watched as it slowly fell back down.

Evan was standing balanced on a railing barely half a foot wide, right leg lifted high!

"Is he insane? With only half a foot's worth of support, there's no way he can kick the ball out! His center of gravity is totally unstable, and with such a narrow spot, the ball's recoil alone would send him crashing to the ground!"

Seeing Evan raise his foot, the group couldn't help but show a few mocking, disdainful expressions.

Yet Evan, standing right there, was already perfectly steady.

It was as if a wind had risen!

Then, right in front of everyone, Evan's toe smashed straight into the soccer ball!

Boom!

A deafening sound echoed in everyone's ears, thunderous and shocking. The closest, loudest substitute players were so startled they fell right onto their butts.

And that soccer ball, in full view of the crowd, flew across the pitch in a dead-straight line—no arc at all—blasting toward the Reserves' goal from way out!

"Damn it, block that ball!" The Reserves players cursed, yelling at their keeper when they realized what Evan was trying to do.

"Trying to score from this far out? And with a shot that straight—he's basically passing it right to them. Even if he's strong, there's no way that ball's going in from here." Mason He sneered coldly.

"Evan Lin is really full of himself. What does he think he is, some kind of genius?" Liam Liu shook his head.

"What an idiot!" Luke Lu, his nose broken, was helped up by Sharon Shen. He glared at the scene, face twisted with hatred.

"This kid's a total moron. If that ball goes in, I'll livestream myself eating shit!" one of the guys nearby crowed.

The Reserves' keeper had been standing there bored out of his mind. Playing against a team like Capitalview First, he barely got any action—the opponents couldn't even make it past midfield, let alone take a shot.

Now, seeing the ball flying toward the goal, the keeper just shook his head, looking smug and cold: "From this far out, with such a stupid shot, you think you can score? Keep dreaming!"

He stepped forward, eyes locked onto the ball, already calculating its path in his mind. He sneered, "Utter fantasy. Watch me boot this thing right back out!"

The keeper judged the distance and angle perfectly. For a ball coming straight at him like this, all he had to do was meet it head-on and he'd blast it away with overwhelming force!

"Here it comes!"

The keeper's eyes narrowed as he measured the distance. He jogged forward a few steps, raised his right foot high, timed the ball's arrival, and swung his leg with all his might!

In less than half a breath, the smug look hadn't even faded from his face—his foot made solid contact with the plain, no-frills ball!

Just a moment ago, he'd been thinking he'd send the ball flying for a perfect save. But in the very next instant, his eyes went wide with disbelief!

Right in front of everyone, instead of sending the ball away, the keeper's leg was dragged backward by its force! Caught off guard, he lost his balance and was sent flying, crashing to the ground.

And the soccer ball blasted cleanly into the net!

As everyone was still stunned, the keeper turned his head toward the goal, eyes full of terror as he stared at the ball in that split second.

Bang!

A huge crash rang out—the moment the ball hit the net, it detonated with a deafening blast and tore a gaping hole right through!

The entire stadium fell silent.

"The ball went in... and exploded?" someone muttered, staring in confusion at the scene.

"Was it just too much force for the soccer ball to handle, so it blew up?" Another person shook their head, still in shock.

The keeper's right leg was broken; he couldn't even stand.

Luke Lu, nose bleeding like crazy, stared blankly.

Sharon Shen and the others beside him looked like they'd just swallowed a fart—totally speechless for ages.

Ethan Yi, injured, clenched his teeth and glared at Evan Lin standing on the railing, his figure almost otherworldly. Fists clenched, his face was full of anger—but also helplessness.

"Lillian... how did Evan Lin even do that..." The girls around Lynn Chen couldn't help but whisper, their voices full of shock.

"I... I have no idea either." Lynn Chen shook her head, her expression deeply complicated.

Ivy Liang's face was cold, brows furrowed. "What the hell—how does a shot like that even go in? Is that guy a monster?"

After a brief silence, the stadium erupted in wild, unstoppable cheers.

"Evan Lin!"

"Evan Lin! Evan Lin!"

This was Capitalview First's home turf, after all. Ethan Yi's earlier arrogance had already stirred up everyone's anger.

Mason He and Liam Liu had been crushed by Ethan Yi's team before, but now, with just two kicks, Evan Lin had shattered every last bit of the Reserves' dignity!

"Madman!"

The Reserves could only listen as the stadium rang with chants of Evan Lin's name. Looking up at him on the railing, 'madman' was the only word that fit.

Mason He and Liam Liu were deathly pale—the result was beyond anything they'd expected, even a little terrifying. This was way outside the bounds of normal understanding!

Evan Lin leapt off the railing, landing on the pitch with one foot, and calmly walked toward the Reserves.

"What do you want? Trying to start a fight?"

The Reserves stared at Evan, faces full of terror and wariness.

"Scram."

Evan spoke coolly, striding forward. Anyone who blocked his way was casually grabbed and tossed aside like trash.

The Reserves rushed at him one after another, only to be knocked down just as quickly.

Everyone could only watch as the young man walked forward, never backing down for a second, ignoring everything in his path—until he finally stood face-to-face with Ethan Yi!
