I sat on the rooftop, watching Isabelle Frost still hovering in the air in the distance. The coffin began to slowly crumble into fragments, breaking apart piece by piece. Strands of red ghostly threads were connecting something inside the coffin.
"That was something Yin Qiu got from Xu Fu and the others before."
Lan Ruoxi spoke beside me as I sat down. The Earthly Soul shook his head.
"No matter what method we use, there's no way to deal with that guy."
I nodded. Even my final, hidden trump card had failed. Although we had destroyed the Wraithlord's ghost body, what I couldn't have imagined was that the Wraithlord had prepared so many substitutes. As soon as we destroyed one ghost body, his three souls and seven spirits would immediately transfer to a fresh ghost body. No matter how many times we killed him, it was useless.
At this moment, although the Wraithlord's power was no longer what it once was, killing him remained extremely difficult.
"Whose corpse is it?"
Quentin Kue muttered. I glanced over; by now the coffin was completely destroyed, and a shriveled corpse appeared in the air. Isabelle Frost, pale-faced, raised one hand, with strands of ghostly threads connecting to the shriveled corpse.
"So that's it, hahahaha!"
The Wraithlord laughed loudly. We all looked at him in confusion, completely unaware whose corpse that shriveled body belonged to. At that moment, countless Red Spider Lilies floated around Isabelle Frost, and streams of white mist from the Human Realm began to converge toward the corpse. I sensed a trace of an aura.
"It's Zachary Justice."
As he spoke, the shriveled corpse began to fill out, its once withered skin gradually turning pale and regaining color. I stared in disbelief at everything before me, while Isabelle Frost clutched her chest in visible agony.
A pristine white Taoist robe appeared on Zachary Justice. He looked strong and vigorous, just as he had in his youth.
"Was it worth it, Ms. Yi?"
Zachary Justice asked, and Isabelle Frost shook her head.
"John Chou said this was the last resort."
Zachary Justice nodded. His once gentle gaze suddenly turned sharp and furious as he looked at the Wraithlord across from him.
"Even if you borrow power from the Borderland and return for a short while, what difference can you make now?"
Zachary Justice shook his head.
"I'm not here to kill you, but to let Qingyuan see something."
In an instant, the Wraithlord moved toward Zachary Justice. A powerful current of energy enveloped both Zachary and Isabelle Frost. Zachary Justice immediately raised a finger, and as a glimmer of light appeared at his fingertip, he leapt forward, pressing his hand to the Wraithlord's brow.
"Almost forgot—you are one of the rare Human Realm paragons!"
The Wraithlord chose to retreat, which surprised me. Instantly, streams of white energy sliced through the Wraithlord's body, tearing it apart. His body shattered into black ghostly mist, which then reassembled, though it was clear his regeneration was much slower than before.
"You may deceive Qingyuan, but you can't fool me. Wraithlord, it's truly difficult to kill you—especially when it requires killing you countless times. But with me here, at least we can buy some time."
"Can you really do that?"
The Wraithlord clenched his fist, and a black flame ignited. Zachary Justice smiled and shook his head.
"You'd better save that power. After all, it will take a long time to recover, and you'll need it to face Hell, won't you?"
The Wraithlord's eyes widened, and his smile faded. Zachary Justice pointed in my direction.
"After all, Hell is right here. If you're going to risk everything, you'll have to confront Hell directly. With your current ghost body, do you really think you can win?"
As Zachary Justice spoke, he suddenly flew toward me, landing right in front of me in the blink of an eye.
"Master Taoist!"
Zachary Justice nodded.
"It's impossible to defeat the Wraithlord. I want everyone to understand this—he's lived far longer than any of us, seen and experienced far more. We simply can't destroy him."
I stared at Zachary Justice in a daze. Beside me, Lan Ruoxi kept clutching my hand. I could feel the turmoil in her heart. I turned my head; Lan Ruoxi leaned closer, and I nodded.
"Go to the past, Ruoxi. It's the only way. I don't have much time left, and once the Wraithlord completely takes over the Yin-Yang Realm, there will be no hope here. You have to leave, Ruoxi."
I looked seriously at Lan Ruoxi, who lowered her head. Zachary Justice smiled and nodded, glancing sideways at the restless Wraithlord in the distance.
"But he's probably already anticipated this, so he definitely won't let Lan Ruoxi leave easily. I've existed in the Mirror World for centuries, so I know—if the Wraithlord is conscious, he can use his instincts to seal off the entire world. Nothing can leave without his permission."
Quentin Kue smiled faintly. At that moment, we all smelled a foul stench. He pulled out a sword from his sleeve, its blade glowing faintly red.
"Nathan Chung, you'd better leave now. If you keep fighting, you'll die."
Quentin Kue smiled and shook his head.
"The result will be the same, Zhang Qingyuan. Find a way to get Lan Ruoxi out of here."
I responded with a hum. At that moment, Eugenia also stood up, seemingly much recovered. Zachary Justice nodded, and Lan Ruoxi lowered her head. I smiled at her.
"Sorry, Ruoxi. I thought I could solve everything."
"Qingyuan, the Chimera Beasts have succeeded on their end. They're gradually clearing out the duplicated beasts."
Down in the courtyard, Eugenia muttered something. I nodded. Their remaining strength was running out, and soon they would vanish from the Yin-Yang Realm.
There wasn't much time left. I grabbed Lan Ruoxi and started walking. She looked surprised, but I picked her up directly, and soon we returned to my old Room 410.

"What are you doing, Qingyuan?"
"Sorry, Ruoxi. Back in the Illusory Realm, I'll keep working with the Chimera Beasts to find a solution. It may be tough for you next."
Lan Ruoxi hesitated for a moment, pursing her lips and shaking her head. I gently held her, a deep sadness welling up inside me. Lan Ruoxi choked back tears, and I softly patted her back.
