Catching the Assassin

12/2/2025

The wild side deep inside Princess Mira was instantly unleashed. She'd always been a hopeless romantic, and whenever she saw Professor Jade Evans, she simply couldn't control herself. Now, with her dream man holding her tenderly and confessing his feelings, Princess Mira completely lost it—she transformed into a lovestruck maniac, and with surprising passion, she pinned Professor Jade Evans beneath her...

Just then, Professor Jade Evans flicked his fingers, and the candles in the bridal chamber went out. In the darkness, only the sound of clothes being hastily removed could be heard...

Meanwhile, outside the bridal chamber, Su Li was leading a group of noble ladies, chatting and laughing as they made their way to see the bride.

When they reached the door, Su Li stopped and whispered, "Wait, look—there's no one guarding the bridal chamber door, and it's pitch-black inside, not even a candle lit. Isn't that strange?"

The other ladies immediately sensed something was off. Faced with such an unusual scene, none of them dared to make a move.

Su Li whispered, "If something's abnormal, there's definitely something fishy. What if there's an assassin inside? Everyone, don't move or you'll alert them. I'll send someone to call for the guards!"

None of the noble ladies had ever seen an assassin before—half curious, half terrified, they all huddled in the corridor across from the bridal chamber, staying silent and still.

Su Li whispered a few words to Lulu, who immediately dashed out and found Alexander Hayes at the banquet.

Alexander Hayes was currently being cornered by Prince Ling and Charles Chu, who were trying to get him to drink. But now that everyone knew about Alexander's legendary tolerance, no one dared to force him anymore—they just tried to keep him from being spotted by Princess Mira.

"Your Highness, something's wrong—there's an assassin!" Lulu rushed over, breathless and flustered.
